Photoshop Elements Drop Dead Lighting techniques

Advantages: Concise yet easy to follow, some impressive looking projects, well presented
Disadvantages: Special effects section, a little light (sic) on explanations

Adobe Photoshop 7 - A Review

Advantages: The best photo-editor on the market, new time-saving features.
Disadvantages: Expensive, new version has few new creative tools, not good for home use.

Review of Elemental - Tears For Fears

Ideal for an interested Amateur

Advantages: Price, Full featured, reliable software, plently of online tutorials to look at and support
Disadvantages: Categorisation and tagging, unlocking codecs, not intuitive.

...I have recently been roped in to doing video editing for a local paper, and a little video recording and taking the odd photo. Has a lot to do with marrying the Content Editor and Web guru. So after being faced with using a really outdated copy of premiere (5 or 6 I think) I bought myself this Premiere/Photoshop Elements package. I have to say that I'm glad I did. First off I have a big Dual Core laptop (T8100 Pentium Processor, 3Gb RAM 2x320 Gb momentus Drives and a big Nvidia GT card) which is well over the requirements of this software. Secondly I bought from Amazon for under £90 for the package on special offer and thirdly I have had some experience of Premiere in the past. Express your creativity with Photoshop 7.0!

Advantages: Easy to use and is 80% as good as CS Version
Disadvantages: Not up to date with newer version of Photoshop CS

I also like playing with the colour balance... you can get all those blueish and yellowish shaded photos. Contrast and Brightness tool is very handy as well. Advantages: Wide variety of image tools, great working environment, supports all type of images.
Disadvantages: Not as such

...transparent with ease and quality. There are various user interface facilities such as file browser, easy to use pallets, customized UI support and much more. Although Photoshops is excellent tools for image editing but it needs fast computer processor. And it can be deadly slow on some slow computers. So please check your PC's hardware comapbility before going to purchase it. On the other hand there are some bugs as well in Photoshop as sometimes it gives some C++ errors and compells you to close the application. But on the whole Photoshop is a great tool to be used for image editing....

Easy and cheap cut at home

...I got this for my partner because, quite frankly, I was sick of him stealing the scissors and my razors at home! This clipper is a good product and I would always reccomend something from the babyliss range - call me a sucker for brands but I have never had a problem with the make when buying products before. The overall appearance isn't the typical appearance to clippers, at least not ones I've seen before but just like it says on the tin my partner found them easy to use and hold. Straight from the box the clippers use "Unique circular blade technology for multi directional cutting" which seem to make a massive differents than a pair of scissors giving the cut a nice and even appearance.
