Eclipse Computers - Review

Advantages: Items in stock and good delivery options.
Disadvantages: Poor customer services and no order tracking through website.

...I have to say, after placing the order with Eclipse and then reading some of the reviews they've had, I was particularly worried. I kicked myself for not doing the research first, before placing the order... My order totalled just over £200 and included a Cooler Master Cosmos S case, and a Corsair 520W Modular Power Supply. The delivery instruction was placed on a Friday morning for next day delivery which was due to arrive on the Monday. On the Monday morning at 9:20am the delivery arrived. Both items were in perfection condition and both items remained in their original packaging. (Comment made due to reading reviews about Eclipse removing original packaging and replacing it with their own.) Eclipse Computers - Stay Away!

Advantages: Cheap computers, but dont let that fool you!
Disadvantages: Terrible customers services

...I ordered a computer with Eclipse Computers last week, after realising that I had spent more money than I realised elsewhere on essentials I had to cancel the order. First of all there is no section to cancel orders on their website or any information on how to go about it. I sent two emails in two days to try and get it cancelled with no reply each time. I then noticed that some money had been taken out of my bank account so rang Eclipse's sales phone line. After about 20 minutes of being told I was first in the queue I finally got through to them and had the order cancelled. I really dont recommend this company, after reading some of the other reviews from customers on Ciao I can see that I am not the only one who received no replys to emails and had to wait a long time to be spoken to. Their customer phone service was not good...

Advantages: Withstands collision excellently - I aslo give you some free safety hints here !!
Disadvantages: Price is high for those with little cash to spend

...I decided to do a wee review on this car safety seat - the Brittax Eclipse. This seat performs fabulously well in my opinion so read on and find out just why I have so much faith in Brittax and the Eclipse in particular............ WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE AND WHAT FEATURES DOES IT HAVE ? This seat is one huge beast as far as its dimensions go !! its around 80 cm high and around 40 wide. It doesnt sound too bad on paper so to speak but trust me when you get it into your car its big !! The seat itself must have been on the red bull as it certainly has a whopping pair of wings on either side of it. Ideal for when your child falls asleep. In other seats we have had, manal has fallen asleep in such awkward positions and we havent been able to move her due to the fact were driving so its good to know that her head and neck...

ECLIPSE COMPUTERS - FIRST AND LAST TIME

Disadvantages: Every possible aspect of sales and service

...Have only registered with this site in order to warn others about Eclipse Computers. I sincerely wish I'd found this site two weeks ago, before ordering almost £400 worth of computer equipment. Ordered a monitor and DVD burner on 10th December as their website stated that even were these items not in stock, they would be available for despatch within 2-3 days. I never received an aknowledgement of my order, and there's no facility for `order tracking` on their web site. When items hadn't arrived by 23rd December, I had no choice but to contact them by phone - an automated system which, despite being at position 1 from the very outset, it took over 20 minutes before I got to speak to someone. I was informed that the monitor which I'd ordered was not only out of stock, but they had no idea when they might be in receipt of such, as...

...Absolutely useless... and getting close to being guilty of misrepresentation. I ordered a hard drive from them on December 7th. Supposedly in stock. They charged my card on the 8th. So far nothing. Emails ignored; phone calls put on "Hold." Very lucrative for them; seeing as the ones they tout on their website, and confirmatory email for the order are 08707 numbers, and cost up to 6p/min... and Eclipse profit from the calls... not the provider; so having you on hold for as long as they can boosts their profits. Their direct phone number is: 024 76500100. They'll still keep you on hold... but it won't cost you quite so much! I've cancelled; and put the whole thing in the hands of my credit card company who have agreed to revoke the payment. My advice is: Don't touch them with a barge-pole... you'll get better service at your...

Total Eclipse of The Heart

Advantages: Great Story, Great Characters and Good Action
Disadvantages: None for Me

...Eclipse is the 3rd book in the currently 4 book twilight series by Stephenie Meyer (I'm still holding on to a tiny hope she will finish the 5th book Midnight Sun) At over 360 pages this instalment of the series is a nice big chunk of story. Without giving too much away, the story so far up to this point is of human 17 year old Bella Swan and her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen. The 2 are trying to make their far from average relationship work, but Bella's best friend Jacob and his tribe being werewolves is putting strain on the pair, as werewolves are natural enemies of vampires. In this book, Bella and Edwards relationship is really tested as Bella struggles to find her true feeling beneath her love for Edward and her strong bond and friendship with Jacob. Add into the mix that there is a vengeful vampire out to do Bella...

Eclipsed by a bloodsucker!

Advantages: Just as entertaining as the other books, more action in this one!
Disadvantages: Bella is REALLY irritating - is she really only 18?!

...Eclipse picks up where New Moon left off; Bella has had to cool off her friendship with Jacob on Jacobs request - the relationship between Jacob and Edward is strained so the opening section of Eclipse is Jacobs attempt to tell Bella to stay away. However. There are big threats for the luckless Bella around the corner which will require the joint strengths of both Edwards Vampire family and Jacobs friends (we shall leave it there in case I accidentally reveal plot spoilers for anyone who hasn't yet read New Moon and intends to!). A killing spree is spreading across Seattle and with no clues, fingerprints and a rapid and frenzied rate of attack; the Cullen's already fear that a new vampire clan is attacking. ...I bought a Britax Eclipse seat for my daughter when she was about 9 1/2 months and had reached the all important weight of 9kg to move into a forward facing seat. She is still using this seat and is now 2 1/2 years old. First important safety fact of this opinion, for this seat your child must weigh 9-18kg/20-40lb (approx. 9 months - 4 years) When it comes to safety theres no messing with me I want a well known manufacturer thats tried, tested and trusted, with Britax you get that. Although the factors that influenced my buying at the time were known safety record, an ability to fit most makes and models of cars as the seat needed to be transferable between my car, hubby's ever changing company car and Grandma's car. I was also swayed by the limited edition spooty dalmation fabric cover that can be removed and washed by hand...

...eclipse computers i purchased a CPU cooler from eclipse computers and when received it had a cracked case, so i returned it after having to send photos of it to them they agreed to replace the item or refund. weeks later and after many e-mails and phone calls i still havent got either a replacement or a refund, im now having to take the matter further. as they are in breach of the sale of good act 1979. and will take court action against them if not resolved within 14 days.. my advice is never to use them for any of your purchases and advise others not to do so .. contact http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ consumer Direct will give you free advice and tell you the law and your rights.. phil...
