...This time last year I was booking my holiday to the Dominican Republic with my boyfriend & of course I do all the booking & he shows very little interest until he gets his tickets. On viewing, you can tell they must be cheap ones. The plastic extends the whole way up, not changing in appearance once, and the white bristles are coarse and stiff. DURABILITY: For me, this toothbrush is perfect, as I use it very rarely - no, I do brush regularly, but I normally use an electric toothbrush. I use this one when I go visiting places, or to someone elses house, so I don't need the charger. The brush does have its downsides - the body is unbendable, so if you're used to pressing on hard, it may damage your gums. ...Sainsbury's economy tooth brushes can be best described as a false economy. These cheap and cheerful toothbrushes come in packs of two and are rated as a medium brush. Unfortunatley I have found that after about a fortnight of regular brushing ie 2 or 3 times a day the tooth brush has become very spayed and the odd brisle or two ends up coming out whilest you are brushing. I would not recommend this tooth brush as you end up replacing them very quickly it would make better sense to buy a more expensive brush that lasts longer and so in the long term would save you money....

There are a lot of people saying that the goverment was warned of the current situation with flood defences, and that put under serious flood conditions, we didn't have the needed defences in place. I think the government didn't realise the danger, and hazard of such information, untill it happened, and now that it has, we can see that there are being new measure implemented. So that, should this happen again. We are a little more prepared. Personally, i think though maybe the scale of disaster caused should have been lessened, there is reasonable action undertaken now that it shouldn't happen again....

...Ok firstly I cannot recommend this product highly enough. This has been the single most useful item I've bought all year. On it's basic level, it is just a kitchen digital weighing scales. It looks smart in any kitchen with the flat round glass top and an almost triangular silver base. Also you can choose the type of weight you want - grams, pounds & Kg's. It also has a zero button, which means you can just keep adding to the same bowl and easily checking how much each item weighs etc - you really don't appreciate how convenient that is until you start using it. Also it has a memory for 9 items, which is invaluable when you get onto the next section. NOW THE GREAT STUFF!!! Ok this is why I love this item so much. As well as the usual weight measurements, all you need to type in is a 4 short code for representing the food item...

Our water is between medium and hard, I recently used a test strip to check our water status and when the strip was dipped into a mug of cold water three out of four small squares along the strip turned colour indicating that we are in a medium to hard water area. Both of us have a `thing` about scale being allowed to build up in the kettle, often before we refill the kettle we will rinse it out with copious amounts of cold water to rid the kettle of any sediment. It is alarming how quickly the scale builds up, it seems to gather around the element and it looks really murky. There would be nothing more off-putting than making a good cuppa and finding that you were drinking scale particles. You get three sachets of Oust All Purpose Descaler in one box...
