The new operating system has many new features which I will run through now. Windows 7 - The Best OS Yet!

Advantages: Great new toolbar, excellent personalisation, overall brilliant design
Disadvantages: Really similar to Vista.

...In July, I downloaded the Release Candidate of Windows 7 to evaluate the new operating system and I have to say it's the best version of Windows yet! It surpasses Vista in every way. Windows 7 is not available yet but I'm encouraging all Vista uers to upgrade in October as soon as the software is released. In the rest of my review I will outline some of the key features. For starters, the toolbar has been changed dramatically. Windows 7 - it makes Vista look like a beta

Advantages: smooth, quick, easy to install and use, pretty to look at, simplified for the masses
Disadvantages: Vista should have been like this - Microsoft robbed us!

That?s where the ?it looks like Vista? comments come from. Windows 7 is Vista without all the rubbish. Everything people moaned about in vista is gone (or improved) and 7 is more spangly and all singing and dancing. It looks better, runs more smoothly and is simple to use. Windows 7: Is what Microsoft is saying really true?

Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it.
Disadvantages: The Price. It looks like vista and it really is just a brush up on the old OS

...Windows 7 has been said by Microsoft as being much improved and everyone would be happy with the end result. But is it really better, below is my review of a few sections which I believe is most important and compare it to older versions. Speed: 9/10 Much faster than Vista. To compare with the Vista OS, on Vista it took around 30 secs to 45 secs to boot up and log me in. Now on Windows 7 it takes 20 - 30 secs to boot up. Shut down is also so much faster. Vista = 15 secs... Windows 7 = 5 secs..... So there is a huge improvement. Also when running programs or browsing the internet you feel like this Operating System is very smooth and just does what you want (most of the time) Program Compatablilty: 8/10 Most Programs that run on Vista will run on Windows 7 (32-bit) very well. Astra 1.7Dti Envoy - Excellent Economy

Advantages: Drives Nice, Great Economy, Cheap Tax, Cheap Insurance
Disadvantages: Not as quick as some.

Due mainly to the fact that I do a 40 mile round trip to work every day, which was costing over £40 per week in petrol, I decided to forget performance, and get a Diesel. Review of Vauxhall Astra 1.7 DTi Hatchback

Windows 7 - a great operating system.

Advantages: looks great, easy to use, nice new taskbar, high compatibility
Disadvantages: cost is still high

...I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate. I had not minded Windows Vista as much as other people; my computer has a 2.13GHz dual core processor and 4GB of RAM. Windows 7 doesn't actually seem to be any faster, but it has some better features and is overall easier to use. It took about 2 hours to upgrade, which isn't bad but it's not amazingly fast. It runs all of my programs that ran under Vista no problem, and some of my hardware is actually now supported that wasn't supported in Vista. I haven't found anything that doesn't work after upgrading. I still recommend that you run the "Windows 7 upgrade advisor" first just to make sure. The new taskbar looks a bit different, but don't be worried, you'll get used to it, and once you do you'll find out that it's a big improvement. Programs no longer have text, just...

Premium economy ?? I think i'll pass !!

Economy toothbrushes are worth their value

...The Sainsbury's Economy Toothbrush comes in aq pack of 2 for 39p. They're extrodinarily good value, but are they worth the cost? APPEARANCE: The toothbrushes are white. On viewing, you can tell they must be cheap ones. The plastic extends the whole way up, not changing in appearance once, and the white bristles are coarse and stiff. DURABILITY: For me, this toothbrush is perfect, as I use it very rarely - no, I do brush regularly, but I normally use an electric toothbrush. I use this one when I go visiting places, or to someone elses house, so I don't need the charger. The brush does have its downsides - the body is unbendable, so if you're used to pressing on hard, it may damage your gums. To start with, the bristles work very effectively, probably better than a more exensive one, as they're firm and can dislodge food...

Sainsbury's economy toothbrushes

Advantages: none that I found
Disadvantages: needs repacing very quickly

...Sainsbury's economy tooth brushes can be best described as a false economy. These cheap and cheerful toothbrushes come in packs of two and are rated as a medium brush. Unfortunatley I have found that after about a fortnight of regular brushing ie 2 or 3 times a day the tooth brush has become very spayed and the odd brisle or two ends up coming out whilest you are brushing. I would not recommend this tooth brush as you end up replacing them very quickly it would make better sense to buy a more expensive brush that lasts longer and so in the long term would save you money....
