...This time last year I was booking my holiday to the Dominican Republic with my boyfriend & of course I do all the booking & he shows very little interest until he gets his tickets. At the time of booking both our tickets came to just less than £1000 so I decided we would go for a bit of an extra as it was a special trip our first holiday alone together & we wanted some thing to remember so I opted for the premium economy seats at the price of £195pp not telling my boyfriend I just gave him the final figures to pay. Good economy, comfort, performance and image

Advantages: BMW Badge, Subtle but mean looks, Quiet for a Diesel, Economy

...I have had VW Passat, Audi A4 both 1.9TDI 130BHP, both covering 130K miles in 3 years with very little consequence. The move to BMW was to fulfil a childhood desire to own one of the best automotive marques available. I now have a 2002 BMW 530d M-Sport, Manual, Black, Leather, Sat Nav. The drive is very good. Smooth power delivery and remarkably quiet engine for a diesel. Economy is very good considering the 200BHP the engine produces. On a motorway run, i get between 37 - 41 MPG. If your right foot is heavier tho, expect nearer 30. The exterior is great from the front where the M-Sport kit gives the impression of and M5 and consequently looks purposeful and mean. The Halo lamps and Xenon lights add to the appeal and facilitate good vision at night. From the rear, it looks dull however. Inside, it doesnt really look that...

Putting on a great performance

...Before we had our two beautiful girls, my husband and I loved going to the theatre, particularly to see musicals, as often as we could. Sadly, we now have neither the time or the money to go, so I have to make do with listening to my favourite songs instead. I have quite a few CDs from musicals but one of my favourites is this CD - Performance by Marti Webb - as she sings many of my favourites from a number of different musicals. Marti Webb was one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's leading ladies in the seventies and eighties, taking the lead in both Evita and Tell Me on a Sunday. Unsurprisingly then a lot of the songs featured are from Lloyd Webber musicals, although strangely not her big hit which was 'Take That Look of your Face', but there are songs from plenty of other musicals too. On viewing, you can tell they must be cheap ones. The plastic extends the whole way up, not changing in appearance once, and the white bristles are coarse and stiff. DURABILITY: For me, this toothbrush is perfect, as I use it very rarely - no, I do brush regularly, but I normally use an electric toothbrush. I use this one when I go visiting places, or to someone elses house, so I don't need the charger. The brush does have its downsides - the body is unbendable, so if you're used to pressing on hard, it may damage your gums. To start with, the bristles work very effectively, probably better than a more exensive one, as they're firm and can dislodge food...

The Best of Performance Irons

Advantages: Fantastic looks, great forgiveness, good distance

...and I must admit I find many of their clubs fantastic to look at and the Pi5 are no exception! In the Wilson Staff series there are various degrees of golf club in terms of the standard of player the clubs are aimed at. This begins with the new Di7 model (Distance irons with a larger sole to reduce the effects of off-centre hits) which is the most forgiving. Next is another new model, the Ci6 which is aimed at mid-handicappers; feeling more like a precision players club but incorperating some of the more essential "forgiving" features. The third in the series is the Pi5 itself which is advertised as a "Performance Iron" to give players a variety of shot choices. The clubs progress from cavity backed long irons for forgivness to a bladed pitching wedge to give a strong player the right levels of precision and forgivness for their game...

You do get to a certain age when you feel that a little coverage might help, especially in the winter, when your skin can look a little lifeless. Foundations can be thick, drying, and sometimes more of it ends up on your collar than on your face. With Lasting Performance by Max Factor this is not the case. First of all let me describe the packaging. It comes in a tube approx. 10cm long and 5 cm wide, apart from the end and lid the tube is transparent, which enables you to see the colour of the foundation. The lid and end are a dark blue in colour. There is a large gold star on the front of the tube. The tube contains 35ml of foundation. The foundation is in liquid format, and is very easy to apply, and goes on smoothly. And it will last all...

...Sainsbury's economy tooth brushes can be best described as a false economy. These cheap and cheerful toothbrushes come in packs of two and are rated as a medium brush. Unfortunatley I have found that after about a fortnight of regular brushing ie 2 or 3 times a day the tooth brush has become very spayed and the odd brisle or two ends up coming out whilest you are brushing. I would not recommend this tooth brush as you end up replacing them very quickly it would make better sense to buy a more expensive brush that lasts longer and so in the long term would save you money....

Gateway IS Performance!

...I invested in a Gateway Performance 650 system some 4 months ago. I purchased an Epson Perfection 610 scanner, and a HP Deskjet 840C printer separately to get away from the "cheap" packages offered by most of the popular retailers who include only low performance printers and scanners as a part of the deal. I went for a 30Gb hard drive at small incremental cost. The promise of delivery within 7 days was beaten by 2 days! The system was easy to instal, even for a relative novice. Everythiny worked perfectly first time, with no problems to date. I feel the Gateway machine may not appear on the surface to be amongst the cheapest, but if the price of the cheapo peripherals is taken out of many of the "packages" on offer, the Gateway machine does offer good value for money. The consumers association also rate it as one of the most reliable...

Performance and Cocktails, a great album

Advantages: Great style of the Stereophonics, good album design.

...The Stereophonics second album 'Performance and Cocktails' is a fantastic album, written in their distinctive style. The great singles 'the Bartender and the Thief,' 'Just Looking' and 'Pick a Part That's New' are included in this great album. I liked all of the tracks on this album, although some do appear to be a bit slow and quiet. You do have to be in the right mood to appreciate this album fully. The more you listen to this album the more it grows on you. It's well worth the money and does not become dated at all. The cover to the CD is very different, and the black and white effect works well. I think this album is great and is only exceeded by their new album J.E.E.P. which is brilliant. I would highly recommend this album, although it's growing old, you'd never guess, it's fantastic and the Stereophonics sound great as usual....
