...The hotel Sol Falco offers self catering, half board and full board. The service is excellent from all the staff and the facilities provided from this large complex are fantastic. The Sol Falco has its own in-house entertainment team which put on proffesional and entertaining shows nearly every night. Scuba Diving activities can be arranged on site, and plenty of space around its variety of pools. You walk into the reception with a fountain in the middle and it gives you a sense of relaxation when you arrive. The complex is very big but a security team patrol the whole site and the roads in and around the complex. The hotel is situated in the resort of Son Xoriguer which is next to the Marina of Cala n Bosch which is 15 minutes walk away, however I noted it as a disadvantage its the only one I could think of. ...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). ...Edie Brickell - Picture Perfect Morning (1994 Geffen Records) I own this CD since I discovered it in 1996, well actually I lost it during one of my movings, so I had to buy it again in 2002! I think this is the best work ever from Edie Brickell, one of those timeless albums with thoughtful lyrics. I loved and still love very much "What I am" and "Circle of friends" from her first album "Shooting rubberbands at stars" back in 1988. But "Picture perfect morning" in my opinion is just...perfect! Definitely my favourite of all her albums! I love all 11 tracks even though "Lost in the moment" is probably the one I like the most for the outstanding reflective lyrics. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. ...Although not a great fan of historical crime fiction, I did really enjoy Ellis Peter's Cadfael stories, and when I found out that there was a series of books by another author set in Ancient Rome, I thought that they would be worth a try. This book is the first in the series, which introduces us to "private informer" Didius Falco, who is the Ancient Roman equivalent of a modern day private investigator. Since this book was published in 1989, at least sixteen more books have followed and there is something of a cult following for Lindsey Davis' books. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so. My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk. Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. ...Two for the Lions is the tenth of Lindsey Davis's mystery novels featuring Didius Falco, set in the Ancient Roman Empire. The action starts with Falco reluctantly pairing with his former enemy Anacrites to check census returns for the Empire. Falco hopes this boring but lucrative work will earn him enough to reach the Roman middle rank and finally marry his high class girlfirend Helena. He and Anacrites start off investigating the tax returns of one of the many gladiator training schools in Rome. The murder of a circus lion leads them to suspect more sinister things than tax evasion are afoot and the plot, as ever, thickens, leading Falco and his nearest and dearest to Africa in order to solve the mystery.
