...Doctor Who is a popular sci-fi family show which has been on and off our screens for many years now. It is an amazing show about a man named the Doctor. He is a Time Lord who travels around in his big blue box known as the Tardis, rescuing and saving those who are in danger from the evil creatures of the universe. He sometimes travels alone but usually he is accompanied by a female companion. Our current Doctor is the gorgeous David Tennant! This Doctor had travelled with a woman in the past named Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen). He was reacquainted with her in series 2: School Reunion back in 2006, when we saw her again, complete with k9. K9 was a dog the doctor had made (his master) out of tin for Sarah Jane, providing a faithful companion for her. He is such a cute little dog, all small and silver, none other is quite as adorable...

Wasting time with District 9

Advantages: Good action sequences, interesting moral ideas.
Disadvantages: Terrible (and I mean terrible) acting, disjointed.

...When an alien race finds itself marooned on earth they are fortunate that a caring humanity give them refuge and their own land in South Africa known as District 9. Years on however, these prawn-like creatures are seen as a resource eating nuisance and live in slum conditions. The subject of abuse from a corrupt government and Nigerian gangs they are about to be relocated to the even worse District 10. Fortunately, they may well have found themselves an unwitting ally in government stooge Wilkus who finds himself exposed to a DNA altering gas. As he becomes more alien by the day will he become their Saviour? I don't really get District 9. It seems to have gone down well with almost all film audiences and critics but I feel like I must be missing something. I think maybe a lot of it is because it has strong apartheid references...

Best phone in years!

Advantages: great music player
Disadvantages: none that i can think of

Ok so lets start to talk about the phone itself The Samsung U600 is from the Ultra Edition II range, the U900 is slimmer and very lightweight than the D900/D900i . the slide-open is really smooth, in the past the slide opening has been far from smooth with a clunky feeling to it and with one drop the slider had broken. The shimmering casing is very attractive and elegant, the large colour display screen dominates the front while the phone is closed, when the phone opens the key pad is large and easy to see. The touch screen does need a bit of getting use to if you have not used a touch screen phone before, at first I would accidentally touch one of the call buttons and I call the last person I had called 20 mins ago by mistake, but the trick is not to be heavy handed with! Now I find it works perfectly with out any mishaps...

You wont be dissappointed!

Advantages: Looks and works great.
Disadvantages: Battery life seems poor

...very useable surprisingly and I have chunky man-fingers. The navigation keys are equally tidgy but again they have posed no problem. There are 2 'enter' keys, for want of a better word which are touch sensitive and boy can they be sensitive. They take a bit of getting used to but after a while they become easier to control but I still occasionally end up in a strange place I never wanted to go to. Perhaps I'm just a clumsy get. Now, if I were to talk about anything else I'd be making it up. Like I say, I'm no aficionado of mobile technology. For those who like to know exactly which acronyms to attach to this particular model - here they are.   SAM truly delivers

Advantages: Slim, light and easy to navigate
Disadvantages: Having an Orange contract which connection/signal is always a problem

I had it a go for a month in desperation to get the contract approved, but after that I phoned the insurance provider (Policy Administration Services Ltd) to cancel it but persuaded me to have the 2.99 pounds a month for the sim card insurance. Getting to the good stuff here. The U600 holds 1000 texts, pictures and emails at one time. Just like other new Samsungs, the layout for texting is similar. K-9 DVD

The Stylish and Sexy U9

Advantages: Gorgeous, fashionable, stylish, easy to use
Disadvantages: A bit slow sometimes, ringtones aren't great

...Before I start this review, I should say that the U9 is my first new phone in over three years. This is something pretty major for me as I was very attached to my old phone - it might have been old and basic but it offered everything I needed, and I found that most newer phones were either ugly or had the exact same (or worse) specifications than my old phone did - which was pretty surprising for one that was so old! The fact that I *FINALLY* chose to upgrade is a pretty good sign as to just how good the U9 is. The U9 is almost certainly a girls phone. Your colour choices are either pink or purple - the pink designed for 'party girls', and the purple for those that like luxury. The outer appearance of the phone is fantastic.
