The Eiffel Tower

Advantages: cheap to visit, great views of paris, one of the most popular attractions
Disadvantages: lengthy queues

...If you visit Paris its almost rude not to go up the Eiffel tower. Those of you who have read my other reviews on Paris will know I went there last summer for a few days??and yes I did venture up the Eiffel tower. History: The Eiffel tower was built by the contractor Gustave Eiffel in 1889 and is 118 years old. It took only two years two months and five days to build, which is quite remarkable considering the height of the tower, the weight of the metalwork used and the fact that it was only 1889! There is an exhibition marking the building work of the tower on one of the levels and this is well worth a look, although I can't remember which level it is on. My opinion: I thought it was great and really good value for money, however it has since been named top of the list in a poll of the worlds most disappointing tourist spots...

Samsung PL65

Advantages: Great features
Disadvantages: None really

...The Samsung PL65 is a simply designed, nice looking camera that boasts 12.2 megapixel's amopng it's high quality features. It has the attraction of a higher end camera but is priced, although not cheap, fairer than other cameras of this quality. However, if you are not interested in the settings and just want to take some holiday snaps or Birthday photos, you can use this eassily too. The camera's smart auto will choose the best settings for you to ensure great pics every time and with the dual image stabilisation, you don't have to worry about pictures coming out blurry because of your hands shaking. These features are really worthwhile and make a big difference when the camera is used by someone who may not be used to taking snaps. There are some other features that can help with problems such as the blink detection and red eye fixer...

I see the Eiffel Tower!

Advantages: Close to the Eiffel Tower, clean and not bad prices
Disadvantages: No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

...On my recent trip to Paris I saw a lot of hotels - the first one was the Tour Eiffel Suffren. This hotel is a 4 star hotel and is part of the Mercure chain of hotels. The hotel: The hotel is classed as a 4 star hotel but, is not a luxury style hotel compared to others of the same rating within Paris city centre. The hotel has plenty of facilities which I'll go through later and is quite large with 405 rooms. Location: The hotel is one of the closest to the Eiffel Tower and from the front entrance there is a smashing view of the tower. Some of the rooms also have a view of the tower but unfortunately I was not lucky enough to have one of those ones! The hotel is located at 20 Rue Jean Rey and is actually located right next door to the Hilton Paris hotel. Officially in the 15th Arondissemont it is located on the left bank...

When I Fell For The Eiffel

Advantages: Great views over the city, interesting things to look at / read at different levels, most bon waffles in the cafe
Disadvantages: No trampolines like in Blackpool's :(

The Eiffel Tower.

Advantages: Amazing Views, great experience
Disadvantages: A little pricy, can be very busy.

You get a 360 degree view of Paris so make sure that you have picked a clear day. i was also surprised that there is a toilet at the top, amazing though, you have to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower to find the cleanest toilets in France!! You can stay at the top as long as you want and there are plenty of lifts to the bottom!! Please enjoy this experience as i did!!!...

...In my last visit to Paris last year, my husband and I visited la tour Eiffel at night, having previously visited it in the middle of a hot summer day. I thought, a night visit would be quite different, the night scene would be a nice change and the crowds will not be so bad. Upon reaching the Eiffel Tower, I wasn't wrong in my assumptions because it was quite deserted and we had a fabulous time! Getting there = The Eiffel Tower can be reached by several means, of which we chose to walk. Our hotel was within walking distance and we felt rather comfortable and safe to walk in those areas. We don't know whether its either our ignorance or the general safety of the local area, but we didn't meet any trouble and we had a wonderful long walk to and fro the Eiffel in the quiet of the suburbs of Paris. E65 Nightmare?

Advantages: Overall a good phone, with good features and looks pretty.
Disadvantages: Slight technical glitch makes a nightmare situation for an impatient person!

...I recently upgraded my phone from the now very outdated LG U890, to the Nokia E65. When it arrived, I was like a child in a sweet shop, I was so excited about it's smooth, sleek and shiny appearance, and it felt great in my hand! It felt really light and generally professional. When I first went to use it, though, I found it quite difficult to get the thing to work! I couldn't find the menu key (maybe I should read the manual?) so it was a nightmare trying to get to my messages. It was also a completely different lay out to my previous phone, meaning I couldn't just click the down button to get to my contacts, but once I realised this, all was well. When I discovered many of the different features, I was in awe of the message reader, which kept me amused for a few minutes. I'm not a business person so a smart phone is not...

Tour Eiffel

Advantages: Lots of places to go
Disadvantages: A little dirty

...In Paris, there is a lot to do. I went to visit the Eiffel Tower, which you can go up either by elevator or walk up, and on every level, there is a gift shop, and binoculars to look out at the scenery with. After that, you can eat at the Eiffel Tower resturant, which is beautiful. The food was filling and excellent. After that, on the way back to the hotel, we stopped by at one of the market stalls to buy some fresh sea food, and to do some shopping. I highly recommend going, because you see what Paris really is all about, and the clothes are great! Also, you need to reserve the Eiffel Resturant beforehand, or else you won?t be assured of a seat....

Advantages: Great looks, features and build quality
Disadvantages: Suffers from very occasional crashes

...I've owned the Nokia E65 for almost a year now, I bought it off-contract to replace the AWFUL LG Chocolate (which a friend persuaded me was good) after only a few months. I usually keep my phones for a year and replace them when my contract comes up for renewal. Because my LG was my contract phone and I bought this one off-contract early, I could have replaced it ages ago...but I didn't. Why? because this is a great phone and even thought I've had it for just about a year, everything still works, and I'm still really happy with the way it looks and functions. Before the LG mistake, I'd had several Sony Ericsson phones, and loved them, but well before a year was up, various bits and pieces didn't work anymore (usually the joysticks or some buttons).
