...This review is based purely on our holiday to The Tropicana Grand Oasis Resort in November 2009, There are many different hotels in Sharm El Sheikh and different areas some already established and others are up and coming. The Grand Oasis is part of a chain of hotels in the holiday resort of Sharm El Sheikh or Sharm for short. A Grand Hotel

Advantages: Lots of facilities, clean, spacious rooms
Disadvantages: Just the health staff round the pool

Because we were going as a family, we wanted something with sufficient activities to keep everyone happy, and it also had to be of a relatively high standard as regards food and cleanliness. Don't pass on El Paso

Advantages: Fantastic hotel.
Disadvantages: They made me go home !!

...This review is about my holiday at the El Paso Hotel, Port Aventura, Spain in October 2008. My holiday was booked through First Choice Holidays and for my husband, myself and our 12 year old son for a weeks half board stay with unlimited access to the park, the cost, including flights and transfers was £1200. The Grand is truly Grand

Advantages: A comfortable hotel and great restaurant
Disadvantages: Quite a walk up the hill or steps if escalator is not on

...I had a very hectic Christmas last year cooking for the family and generally doing far too much eating and drinking, so when it came to New Years Eve I was worn out, and to be quite honest just could not face another knees up to see the New Year in. My husband came up with the idea of going for a pint at tea time then back home for a night in front of the television. I agreed with that idea and then he piped up that we would have to go to bed early because we were getting up at six in the morning to drive to Scarborough and staying over night in the grand Hotel. ...I have been a fan of the Grand Theft Auto Series since the first 3D version came out (Grand Theft Auto 3) on PlayStation 2, I remember buying it and spending a good week or two playing it none stop as I was simply addicted and I?ve never experienced such an interactive and open world game that could knock Mario World 64 out of my top favourite. I have prided myself in become a somewhat expert on all the PlayStation 2 versions of the game, I?ve completed them all multiple times and have been dreadfully close to completing them 100%. The MGM Grand is Grand Indeed!

Advantages: A fascinating place to visit and so much to see
Disadvantages: One can get worn out just trying to explore the whole hotel

...I stayed at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for 3 nights and 4 days in August 2008 and can honestly say I had a great time. Please let me warn you that this is a fairly lengthy review of my experience. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost about $7 which worked out at less than £4 at the time. The first thing you notice about stepping out of the taxi and into the hotel is the fabulous air-conditioning. Vegas in August is VERY hot, well over 40o Centigrade! So it's really a relief to get out of that heat into the fabulously spacious lobby of the MGM and feel cooler straight away. On stepping inside the hotel (if you arrive by car) you are greeted by the large gold lion in the centre of the lobby in front of which it seems everyone who goes there for the first time rushes to have their photo taken in front of!
