...it's quite slow in tempo, but it's certainly got me trying to move in time as I listen. It glides along to a faster finish. A most satisfying start to the album. 7/10 2. "Night Electric Night" The second song is faster in tempo, although does alternate between faster and slower sections building up to a fast finish, which is something I demand and appreciate from the Deathstars. I love the finish of this. It also satisfies and makes me chair-dance. 7/10 3. "Death Dies Hard" I will deny you This world belongs to me This is apparently the first single from the album. It seems a pretty solid choice. To me, it feels like a James Bond theme, and the title certainly sounds Bond-ish. I like it. The keyboards remind me of a-ha, too. But it's still all very reassuringly Deathstars-ish. 8/10 4. "The Mark of the Gun" But...

Huge Range, Quick Delivery and Good Service (365electrical.com)

Advantages: Huge selection, easy site and tells you if item in stock, no extra charge for phone, fast delivery
Disadvantages: Not always best value

...As with a fridge (see my 24-7electricals review) we also needed a washin machine - quick. It's not possible to search for items by delivery times on shopping engines or even suppliers' sites! How strange, surely I can't be the only person who wants things as soon as possible and for whom this is more important than the exact brand, colour or shape of the door handle? I used PriceRunner shopping engine to find the best value supplier of the washing machine I chose. I also needed one willing to deliver to an address different from the billing address. I picked a Leicester company called 365electrical (www.365electrical.com). 365electrical seem to offer pretty much full range of kitchen appliances from big dueal fuel vens to microwaves, bread makers and even taps and sinks. Is the future electric?

Advantages: Zero emissions, quiet running, climate friendly, cheap to run
Disadvantages: Limited range, few power points, expensive to buy

...The British government recently announced that from 2011 they would contribute up to £5000 towards purchasing one of the new generation of electric vehicles that will become available. Is this a generous offer from a proactive government serious about climate change or a move from a desperate bunch of politicians? On face value it looks quite good but there are numerous questions that have been unanswered & throw doubt on their offer. They chose an unusual time to announce it, two days before a rather grim budget; surely it would have made more impact on budget day. Cynics would say they chose two days before the budget to divert attention away from the Damien Green nasty emails affair & the constant press attention to MP?s expenses. I have little time or respect for modern day politicians & tend to agree with the latter assumption...

...I think it is fair to say that I was prepared and planned for Aleyna's birth. I spent the last 2 months of my pregnancy nesting, organising, obsessing, much to my husband's delight as I am normally a little slovenly!! However nothing could have prepared us for Aleyna spending 2 weeks in intensive care. I had already bought the Medela Electric breast pump, I knew I would be going back to work after a short time and I knew if at all possible that I wanted to breastfeed. When my milk had still not come in 5 days after Aleyna's birth (she was on a serum drip in the incubator so no milk for her at that stage), with a little help from the midwife I decided to focus on getting my milk supply going in order to give her the best start if and when she was able to take milk. Avoid Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances

Disadvantages: Contemptuous attitude toward the customer and consumer protection laws

...Please do not order anything from Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances. We ordered a Zanussi washing machine and are now stuck with this faulty unusable machine, even though we paid extra for fitting and testing. When the machine runs it fills our apartment with the acrid smell of burning rubber. We reported this within 24 hours of our having received delivery of the machine yet Sainsburys will not replace it without first sending out an engineer (the earliest time the engineer will get to us is a full seven days after we reported the fault) who then will submit a report to them (Sainsburys), who will then contact Zanussi. It could easily be 3 weeks or more before we have a working machine. Surely, if a machine is reported as faulty within 24 hours of delivery, it should simply be replaced. Yes. That's the law, but Sainsburys don't see...

This company wasn't the cheapest on price, partly because they don't do free delivery like some other companies (delivery cost £19.99), but they had the best reviews from other customers - much better than the companies selling it for cheaper. As you can tell from the company name, they sell kitchen appliances including dishwashers, cookers, hobs, fridges, freezers, coffee machines, washing machines and tumble dryers. We ordered a Neff Hob from them late in the evening on 8 November. The website confirmed delivery would normally be in 7 days. The confirmation email stated that someone would contact me within 48 hours to confirm the order and to arrange a suitable delivery date. Sure enough, the next day I had a phone call confirming the order and arranging a delivery date for one week...

...with a single click the provided power adapter and plug to the inobtrusive socket at the side of the blanket - which is well out of the way of the sleeping area of the bed. The cable is quite long and would reach a power point in the wall directly behind the bed with no problems. The fleecy feel of the blanket is pleasant, but those with sensitive skin like me will probably find it best to put a normal fitted bottom sheet over the electric blanket for total comfort. Operational functions: Once the blanket is fitted according to the booklet it only took a couple of minutes to figure out the operating instructions. The control switch is situated in an easy to grip plastic console about 30cms away from the connection to the blanket. A HUGE advantage as it means you can just reach one sleepy arm out of bed, grab the console and switch on...

My experience of using the unit The real time consumption is shown as either as cost of £ per hour, kg of CO2 produced per hour or KWs per hour and can be changed easily between the three by pressing the down button. I tend to leave my on the cost display as this is the one that makes the most sense to me. There are two figures shown on the screen ? the top one is the real time consumption which is the amount of electricity currently being consumed at the time I am looking at the screen. This is useful so that I can see how much my consumption increases as I use various appliances. The bottom figure is the cumulative daily consumption so I can see how much it has cost to do various things for example I did just over an hour?s ironing the other day...
