...My 10 year old bagged upright vacuum cleaner was not performing quite as well as it should, so we decided it was time to look at purchasing a new one. With so many to choose from I started to look round at what was available. The Dyson cleaners have appealed to me but I have not been overjoyed by the price of them. We had already decided to opt for a bagless cleaner as investigations have shown that these tend to be more powerful than the traditional bagged type models. I spotted an Electrolux model I rather liked whilst browsing in John Lewis, it did everything I wanted but I wasn't too impressed with the £149.00 price tag, I did however spot an Electrolux brochure which contained details of all their vacuum cleaners ( apart from any prices that is), which I took home to peruse at my leisure. ▲Spoilt For Choice▲...

AEG Electrolux Fridge

Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean

...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys. Avoid Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances

Disadvantages: Contemptuous attitude toward the customer and consumer protection laws

...Please do not order anything from Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances. We ordered a Zanussi washing machine and are now stuck with this faulty unusable machine, even though we paid extra for fitting and testing. When the machine runs it fills our apartment with the acrid smell of burning rubber. We reported this within 24 hours of our having received delivery of the machine yet Sainsburys will not replace it without first sending out an engineer (the earliest time the engineer will get to us is a full seven days after we reported the fault) who then will submit a report to them (Sainsburys), who will then contact Zanussi. It could easily be 3 weeks or more before we have a working machine. Surely, if a machine is reported as faulty within 24 hours of delivery, it should simply be replaced. Yes. That's the law, but Sainsburys don't see...

...Really pleased with the whole process. This company wasn't the cheapest on price, partly because they don't do free delivery like some other companies (delivery cost £19.99), but they had the best reviews from other customers - much better than the companies selling it for cheaper. As you can tell from the company name, they sell kitchen appliances including dishwashers, cookers, hobs, fridges, freezers, coffee machines, washing machines and tumble dryers. We ordered a Neff Hob from them late in the evening on 8 November. The website confirmed delivery would normally be in 7 days. The confirmation email stated that someone would contact me within 48 hours to confirm the order and to arrange a suitable delivery date. Sure enough, the next day I had a phone call confirming the order and arranging a delivery date for one week...

Does it still have the appliance of science ?.

Advantages: Good price, easy to use, various wash cycles, delay option, up to 1600rpm
Disadvantages: Only B rated, a few programme errors.

...insurers kindly agreed to pay for a replacement washer and so we began looking around for a suitable one. Finally after much searching in the shops and on-line we decided to go for a Zanussi as our previous one had been so good. However our new one had a few bonuses. We bought our new Zanussi through a cash-back site and Asda direct and so the price was very good. I think we paid around £330. There is one problem which I guess was from Asda. The edge of the drum is just slightly bent out of shape. This is so small that we had been using the washer a few weeks before we realised it. As the washer had been in its packing waiting to be fitted for a few months I decided it was too late to complain to Asda and thought we would chance it. At present this does not affect the performance at all and only time will tell. OUR ZANUSSI-ELECTROLUX ZWD...

Advantages: Double Oven, easy clean, very easy to use, good functionality
Disadvantages: Touch controls are quite sensitive, fault codes are not obvious

In summary, This was an absolute marvel over Christmas, I found the cooker exceeded my expectations (Indeed I don't think that I have ever cooked a better pizza - using the pizza function control of course!) It is a bit pricey at nearly £900 and the only negative thing was the touch controls can be a bit too sensitive, if for example you put a plate on the controls, but I would thoroughly recommend this. ...We needed an inexpensive bag free upright following the demise of old faithful. The Electrolux Vitesse looked appealing in the Argos catalogue and the manufacturer was a name we recognised. The box containing the machine looked a little too short as it arrived on the counter. As you know you don?t get to see your purchase in Argos until you?ve bought it. When we got home and opened up you can imagine our complete surprise to find our new household friend was self-assembly. I don?t remember seeing this in any of the blurb but then I wasn?t looking. I had to marvel at the precision moulded plastic which fitted together with amazing ease, unless it was my expertise which I doubt. Electrolux Mondo 5106

Advantages: It is quite light and because of its small size it doesn't take up too much space. It also doesn't cost too much either
Disadvantages: Dust bags are quite small
