Electrolux cylinder vacuum
Advantages: Well made, very quiet, very powerful, easy and pleasant to use...
Disadvantages: Floor head could be better, brush tool poor.
...I have owned this vacuum for around 3 months now, and it has proven to be a good product.
Performance-wise, it is very quiet and very powerful. However, the floor head lets this product down; it is too lightweight and on certain carpets it almost skips across the floor when you pull it towards you.
A second negative point concerns the 'brush' tool, which is basically a tiny brush stuck onto the end of the tool used for getting into corners. This is practically useless, and with the vacuum on full power also makes a lot of noise.
However, the main vacuum unit seems to be well made, and the handle and hose are actually better quality compared to a previous miele machine.
The dial used for switching the machine on/off, and for controlling power output is perhaps not suitable for those who have problems bending. At first I thought you...

▲Easy cleaning with Electrolux▲
Advantages: Fantastic suction & Product features
Disadvantages: Noisy
...My 10 year old bagged upright vacuum cleaner was not performing quite as well as it should, so we decided it was time to look at purchasing a new one. With so many to choose from I started to look round at what was available. The Dyson cleaners have appealed to me but I have not been overjoyed by the price of them. We had already decided to opt for a bagless cleaner as investigations have shown that these tend to be more powerful than the traditional bagged type models.
I spotted an Electrolux model I rather liked whilst browsing in John Lewis, it did everything I wanted but I wasn't too impressed with the £149.00 price tag, I did however spot an Electrolux brochure which contained details of all their vacuum cleaners ( apart from any prices that is), which I took home to peruse at my leisure.

Possibly the best vacuum i've owned!
Advantages: Picks up brilliantly, even on wood and tile flooring, good value for money, easy to use.
Disadvantages: A little heavy, hose is too short for stairs
...I always buy very cheap vacuum cleaners, so its no surprise really that they seem to give up after about 6 months! I bought this vacuum from a discount website, and it was still less than £90 with postage!
It came to me with very simple instructions, and I had it together within 15 minutes. I had been without a vacuum for about 4 days (a long time in the world of pets and children!) so tried it out immediately. Being 1700w, I had expected it to be quite loud, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was no louder than my old cleaner, which was only about 1400w!
It picked up everything effortlessly, and the crevice nozzle took care of the skirtings, under the sofa and between the cushions with no problems at all. I found it to be a little less effective on ceramic tiles, but not terribly so, and it was still much better than other...

AEG Electrolux Fridge
Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None
...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys.
However as I found out these fridges are also quite wide and the space I had to put my fridge in was quite small which is when I came across the AEG Electrolux fridge/freezer. IT was £650 at Currys which I didn't think was too bad.
The first thing that attracted me to this fridge was the look and design. It's a free standing, chrome fridge so it's not plastic looking like some fridges. The outside is very easy to clean as it is just wipe clean. It has two section, the fridge portion and the freezer...

Not a bad vacuum for the price
Advantages: Cheap, decent cleaner, lightweight
Disadvantages: Doesn't pick up every little bit off the carpet
...When hubby was working in Scotland on an extended contract a couple of years ago he rented a flat up there and the vacuum cleaner provided was worse than useless so we decided that he should buy a cheap but decent one for the duration and then bring it home with him at the end of the contract.
As it happens it has worked our well because now we have our cottage here on the Great Orme in Llandudno we can have this vacuum cleaner upstairs in the cupboard. It then saves me lugging the Miele up and downstairs every time I clean.
SO WHICH ONE DID HE GO FOR?
He wanted a cylinder vacuum cleaner and after a bit of research on the Internet he decided to go for the Electrolux Powerplus Z4411.
HOW MUCH DID IT COST?
I am afraid that I can?t remember how much we paid for it when Dave bought it but it currently retails at £37.99 so it...

Electrolux Vitesse
Advantages: Inexpensive, bag free, excellent suction
Disadvantages: Self-assembly (from Argos), feels cheap
...We needed an inexpensive bag free upright following the demise of old faithful. The Electrolux Vitesse looked appealing in the Argos catalogue and the manufacturer was a name we recognised.
The box containing the machine looked a little too short as it arrived on the counter. As you know you don?t get to see your purchase in Argos until you?ve bought it. When we got home and opened up you can imagine our complete surprise to find our new household friend was self-assembly. I don?t remember seeing this in any of the blurb but then I wasn?t looking.
I had to marvel at the precision moulded plastic which fitted together with amazing ease, unless it was my expertise which I doubt. Anyway I was quite proud that this was the first vacuum cleaner I had built. My wife, ever anxious to get ?hoovering? roared off around the house following...

Electrolux Sucks - In A Good Way
Advantages: Reliable and has good features
Disadvantages: The so called Long lasting synthetic bag is not long lasting
...I have just had a quick hoover round my house, Whilst I was doing it I thought to myself this is a great little vacuum cleaner, So here I am now to heap praise upon my reliable little product.
The Vacuum Cleaner I have is the Electrolux Z4431. It is quite funky looking as vacuum cleaners go, It is silver and small and compact. Its easy to store away in the cupboard and looks very neat and tidy.
Now on to the features that make the Electrolux Z4431 such a great little vacuum cleaner:
Variable Power - This is a great feature as there is a dial where you can adjust the suction power of the vacuum cleaner, This is really handy as for things such as laminate flooring you can set it to low suction as it is easy for the vacuum cleaner to clean this kind of surface. However say you have a really thick carpet or rug and need a really...

Electrolux Mondo 5106
Advantages: It is quite light and because of its small size it doesn't take up too much space. It also doesn't cost too much either
Disadvantages: Dust bags are quite small
...A vacuum cleaner is one of life's necessesities but one of the things I begrudge spending a fortune on (like a Dyson!)
We had previously had the little micro vacuum cleaners and as we lived in a flat with no animals it did the job. They had an average lifespan of about 18 mths but given that they only cost about £30 we could live with this. Fast forward a few weeks and we have moved into a house and our poor little Morphy Richards Jazz gave up the ghost. We have inherited a cat and now we need a cleaner with a bit more oomph to it.
I looked on the Internet for various reviews and as I was only prepared to spend up to £70 and only wanted a cylinder vacuum cleaner there was not a huge range to choose from. The Electrolux has had a mixed review but on the whole it doesn't seem too bad.
In my price range there were three that...

Damn good Hoover . . .
Advantages: Light, efficient etc
Disadvantages: None
...Right, those members remembering Hoover Juniors, will know they are a bog standard little vaccuum, correct so far. What has changed is the design, gone is the functional practical austere look, this is the new Doctor Who of cleaners. This is the new improved "Hoover with attitude" It looks modern, stylish even, and I dare say designers have been briefed to give it a sort of "In your face image".
While I have absolutely nothing against the idea of a household appliance being trendy, or even cool, I just think that we should keep out feet on the ground. "It is only a vaccuum cleaner" nothing more, nothing less.
Weight is only 3.8 Kgs, very light for this type of appliance. Availability is good, you will find them everywhere. As for the price, do not pay more than £35, this seems an enormous amount of money to me, but...
