...I first visited this restaurant a few years ago with my boyfriend (now fiance!) and I must say we have become regulars threre! Elements Eatery is a buffet style eat as much as you like restaurant based in the Theatre Disctrict in Milton Keynes. It is located next to TGI's opposite The Rat and Parrott. It is based on the first floor of a large building so just follow the stairs up. There is also a lift available for those who need it. Elements offers you the opportunity to sample "elements" of Far Eastern cuisine, including Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian dishes. ...highly unusual and highly well placed. Most of this themeing is evident throughout the queue lines, which make them seem to move so much quicker. Don’t forget that hot weather though, which is combated with cool mist in most queue lines spraying down onto you. The Batman queue line holds many treats in store. Crashed Cars, sewers that you walk through, and screaming sirens build up an intense atmospheric feeling, which cumulates on boarding the train. The station blaring with music, lights and fog make you feel ready to ride and experience rather than a coaster. The inverted coaster is massively intense, more so than Nemesis. .... The lodge was populated by noisy monkeys and glorious African birds, as well as an extremely friendly and accommodating human staff. One stays in fantastic wooden lodges with open fronts and only a mosquito net to protect you from the elements at night. Tea is left on the veranda in a thermos flask in the morning and it is wondeful to wake up to a cup of tea overlooking such a beautiful location. A couple of days there just flew by and it was time to head out to Selous. The flight is about an hour and a half and, by some extraordinary stroke of luck, I got to sit up front with the pilot again. It was a wonderful journey; we could see giraffe and elephant on the plains below and there is just something about the African landscape that defines the word 'panoramic'.
