Elemental Beauty Mineral Make-up
Review of Elemental Beauty Mineral Make-up by
N01ExpertOpinion
Advantages: Pure ground mineral make-up, no hidden additives, no bismuth
Disadvantages: None that I can find
...With the sudden surge in popularity of mineral cosmetics, it is often difficult to work out just what is good and what isn't. So many products claim to be 'pure' minerals but it's not always the case when you look at the ingredients with talc being used to a lesser or greater degree in some high street brands as a filler.
Thankfully Elemental Beauty have brought out a range of pure mineral foundations, concealers, blushers, bronzers, glimmers, eye shadows and finishing powders that are excellent value for money and totally pure.
The foundations come in two types - 'Soft Focus' and 'Healing' since they realise that not everyone has the same requirements. The Soft Focus is described as their most luxurious foundation, which contains a larger content of Silica Micro spheres, these reflect light away from fine lines and wrinkles...

Kameo: A powerful spin on established elements
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by
Magrippinho
Advantages: Beautiful, Familiar, Effortessly Enjoyable
Disadvantages: Imitates rather than Innovates, Main Quest a bit short
...In "Kameo: Elements of Power" you play the role of a young elf whose royal Ancestors have been kidnapped by a powerful Troll King bent on taking over the Kingdom. In order to save them she'll have to travel through impressive, often dangerous, locales, like an Ice Dungeon and a Water Temple, all the while attaining new powers and learning how to use them.
If that sounds familiar, you've probably played a Zelda game.
But Rare is a great company, producer of many legendary games and not one to copycat. While Kameo heavily uses elements made famous from the "The Legend of Zelda" series, it has also created a brand new world filled with beautiful characters and creatures, fantastic villages and dungeons, and plenty of background magical history thrown in for good measure. It is definitely a title that stands up on its own, especially...

And the Fifth element is... No, i'm not telling
Review of The Fifth Element (Wide Screen) by
Peugeot106
Advantages: Watch it... and again... and again... : it's just GREAT!
Disadvantages: If you don't like Sci-Fi, nor Luc Besson... well it's a very bad start to enjoy this movie!
...... romance? (not much... but still there is a love story in this film!)), but if you do not like Science Siction, you might not especially enjoy "the Fifth Element". But if you do, all the ingredients are gathered to make you spend 125 min of pure happiness: It is beautiful, it is funny, the special effects are excellent (especially if you considered that this film is already 4 years old) and the music, going perfectly well (and adding this "little something" ) with the various parts of the film, is wonderful (the song of the diva..... Divine!:)).
The actors are very credible in their part, and the ukranian ex-model Milla Jovovich ("The Story of Joan of Arc ( 1999 )" and pretty soon in the film " Resident Evil ") is there astonishing.
About the DVD, not much, there is no Special edition of the DVD yet (but it's supposed to be coming soon...

What is the fifth element...........
Review of The Fifth Element (Wide Screen) by
moonlightmist
Advantages: A brillant film, good acting....
Disadvantages: none.....
..., as coincidence would have it into Korben Dallas(bruce willis) cab.
She's just beautiful enough that he risks his life outrunning the cops. Of course she doesn't speak any English, so she can't tell him who she is or what she's running from. All she can say is the name of a priest, one in a long line of holymen who has been trained to protect the four stones. But we soon learn the stones were stolen by evil Zorg (Gary Oldman), who is working for the evil aliens that want to destroy the earth.
Jovavich was sent by the good aliens to protect the earth as she is the fifth element. So the elements are earth, air, water, fire. The weak writing shows through as the priest reminds Willis that she may have superhuman strength but she is also fragile. She needs his love to survive. Pathetic, as are the caricature portrayals by Oldman as the psycho villain...

Lum, the Beautiful Dreamer
Review of Beautiful Dreamer DVD (Urusei Yatsura, 1984) by
berlioz
Advantages: Just about everything
Disadvantages: And practically nothing
....
BEAUTIFUL DREAMER
Although the series began as a romantic comedy romp with sci-fi elements, it didn't take long before the series developed into something much more. Most notable in the development of Urusei Yatsura was director Mamoru Oshii, who would later on in his life create such masterpieces as Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor 2 and Jin-Roh. Despite taking on a completely different approach than the original manga had (i.e. less slapstick, more topical humour) the series managed to be just as good, with the shift towards a more dramatic and moody feeling finally getting more prevalent from the kiddie-style execution of the earlier episodes as the show progressed. The First movie, "Only You," was produced aside of the series and still contained the light-hearted romantic style that had symbolized the series up until that point. That first...

Beautiful, just beautiful...
Review of Max HTML Beauty by
ronniec
Advantages: Looks great, fast to load and run, extensive feature set, very customisable, and Kelly Brook.
Disadvantages: Always in beta testing of sorts, no warranties (obviously).
...first version in the summer of 2000, Beauty has grown into an editor which can seriously rival even the best commercial alternatives - Allaire's HomeSite included, which is quite a feat. Add to this the constant and rapid development of the product and you may begin to understand why I feel such loyalty towards it.
Beauty's feature-set is extensive, while still weighing in at a meagre 2Mb download. The screen layout is simple yet includes all the elements which are so rarely combined in other editors. A central viewing pane occupies the largest portion of the screen, which can display your files in any available font. Syntax-highlighting is built in, and includes a number of different schema for various file types - not only HTML, but JavaScript, Perl, CSS and even Pascal. This makes it a very useful all-round programming tool. Should...

BEAUTY BENEATH THE WRINKLES AND FLAB
Review of What is your definition of beauty? by
thingywhatsit
Advantages: We all have it in us.
Disadvantages: Some dont show it.
...I read this on someone's opinions this morning and had not seen this category before and thought that I would try and do it justice.
You are asked in the title WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF BEAUTY ?
Well on a basic level, beauty is all the things that you see in the adverts and wish that you were, slim, pretty, beautiful hair, eyes, face, figure, all the things that make you on the surface a "cut above the rest", the kind of things that turn heads when they look at you. This is really a very basic level though and true beauty is far more than this.
True Beauty is that element of human nature that makes a person shine. When I use the word "shine", it doesn't have to be dazzling looks, or wonderful dress sense or even outward appearance. What makes people shine and stand out from the rest of the crowd is that inner beauty...

Review of Is beauty only skin deep? by
victoriapower
Advantages: see text
Disadvantages: see text
...beautiful on the 'outside'. Our own inherent Kindness, Generosity, Care and Love of ourselves and others shows above all else. You may be stunningly beautiful - but if you're an ass, people aren't going to find you attractive in the end. And so what if you don't classify under this societies rules of beauty, if you are a beautiful person you will always be surrounded by people who are attracted to you because of the way you make them feel.
To add an additional thought into the equation, we could consider the unseen element of smell. Science has proven that as Human Beings we are driven not only visually but by our olfactory senses also. We are at the base of it, mammels with instincts. Prehaps it is all just primal?!
So; Is beauty only skin deep? No, We are beautiful in our flesh, in our bones, our hearts and souls. Dont just be applied...

For Beautiful Days and '90s reminiscing
Review of What A Beautiful Day (Single) - Levellers by
tev_1
Advantages: Pop-folk-Punk-Indie-Rock - call it what you will, this is a great tune to put a smile on your face
Disadvantages: Why don't they make tunes like this anymore?
...'Beautiful Day' was released in two different cd formats; CD 1 containing 'Beautiful Day', 'BarRoom Jury' and 'All Your Dreams', and CD 2 which contains three other tracks along with the title track; 'Price of Love', 'Hang on to your Ego' and 'Germfree Adolescence'.
'Beautiful Day' is probably The Levellers most well known track (it was featured on an advertisement for Weight Watchers), an uplifting song blending elements of folk and rock with an essentially poppy refrain - anyone who was into music in the late nineties is sure to be able to sing along to the catchy chorus 'What a beautiful day, hey hey, what a beautiful day, nothing is impossible in my all powerful mind....' This song is very simple, but other works of The Levellers include lyrics that convey political anxieties and their own political opinions, and unlike...

Be never to Busy, buy from B-Never & Be Beautiful!
Review of B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Range by
Hezoid
Advantages: Fabulous range of products, all very glamorous and dressing table worthy!
Disadvantages: Pricey and sometimes not so make-up bag practical! Also mainly mail order.
...THE COMPANY:
Be Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful (i'll refer to it as Be Never from now on to make life easier lol!) is the sister company of the much better known Lush. Be Never is bascially the more sophistocated and glamorous older sister of Lush, producing the same high quality of products but focusing more on perfumes and using sophistocated scents, and also adding a whole range of make-up products, something lacking at Lush. It's also know as the B Parfumerie.
ANIMAL TESTING POLICY:
Be Never have just as stringent an animal testing policy as their sister company, Lush. Thee don't test any of their finished products or the ingredients on animals, and they don't buy from companies who test any ingredients (even the ones Be Never don't buy/use) on animals. There are quite a lot of Be Never products that are actually Vegan...
