...I was lucky enough to get a small, free sample of this and became addicted. It is absolutely lovely and lasts for ages because you only need a tiny amount. Elemis has been around since 1990 and their way of using aromatherapy is not just to offer a natural product that appeals to the emotions but also a product that offers a very therapeutic treatment for all kinds of skin. Elemis use only premium medical grade plant and flower extract which are hand picked in the early morning so as to get the best oils, it takes 8,000 000 jasmine blooms to get 1 kilo of absolute oil and no heat is used in this process. The cleansing wash comes in a hard plastic bottle (great if you are like me, slippery hands and glass do not a great combination make.) ...Elemis' Skin Buff is best used in combination with other Elemis products, and it certainly fulfils its role. Unlike other exfoliators which tend to either try to sandpaper off your eyebrows, or tentatively slough off 1.2 skin cells before giving up, this works the way it should work. Skin Buff has a creamy consistency with what feels like teeny tiny little balls in the mixture. This means that you don't feel rough edges against your skin, and you don't have to use much pressure for it to work well. A small amount, about the size of a 2p coin will spread all over the face, but use a little water so that it doesn't irritate the skin too much. Whilst the smell isn't bad, neither is it as nice as most of the other Elemis products. Camomile is one of the active ingredients, and it forms the main basis of the fragrance. It... Read review

...I use a big range of Elemis skin care products and have found them to be brilliant. My skin is smoother and clearer than it ever has been. I have been using Elemis for nearly two years and just love it. However, the S.O.S. cream is one of the few products from their range that I feel does not live up to what it says. The product claims to soothe and balance sensitive skin, it is to be applied to areas of high colour and to irritated parts of the face and decollete. I would be prone to redness and at times sensitivity so I thought the cream would be perfect for me, but unfortunately not. I have used almost all of the product and will continue to until it is finished, only because it was quite expensive. Elemis S.O.S. made no difference what so ever to my skin apart from making it feel quite sticky as it takes a long time... Read review

Advantages: Pleasent smell when applying and does not streak.

...I am a big fan of Elemis products and was very keen to try their self tanning cream. The cream comes in attractive packaging and has a pleasent smell when applying. I did however find it quite difficult compared to other self tanning products to apply because it does not have a colour guide. I therefore spent longer applying just in case I missed a bit. When application was complete I thought my skin felt really smooth and moisturised. I always put my false tan on just before I go to bed so it has plenty of time to develop before showering in the morning. I couldn't wait to wake up and see the results, I was so excited-sad I know!! In the morning I rushed to the bathroom mirror to see the results, I couldn't believe it-NOTHING!! l searched everywhere for some sign that I had carefully applied false tan the night before... ...I bought these on a promotion from Elizabeth Arden a little while back. I bought them on a recommendation from a friend who has used these before. They are individual capsules which contain liquid to use on your eye area. The capsules are meant to be easy to open, it says to twist it two times. I have not found this to be the case.. You have to twist it at least 5 times and you end up hurting your fingers (I have resorted to using scissors instead) Another criticism I have of this product is that there is too much liquid to use per capsule. They are meant to be single doses but I would say that a capsule would last (at least) two days, but once opened it they are quite hard to store (its not like you can close them up again) Also, the liquid inside the capsule is really oily so it takes a few minutes for the skin to soak it up... ...I have spent ages thinking about this. What do I want to leave for the future generation to find? What message do I want to send out about our time and me, or do I just fill it with spring snakes and make them all jump. Also not knowing how far in the future this will be opened I have thought about a distant future where things we have not yet thought about or discovered are common place. After long deliberation and thought, I think I have come up with a list that Blue Peter would be proud of. 10 - Magazine / Newspaper. I would like to leave them proof of what time the capsule was buried. It could also serve to tell them what was happening in the world at this time. Also it would give them an idea of what we used to read and what we find entertaining. I wonder what they would think reading a big brother article. Would they find... Read review
