...I was lucky enough to get a small, free sample of this and became addicted. It is absolutely lovely and lasts for ages because you only need a tiny amount. Elemis has been around since 1990 and their way of using aromatherapy is not just to offer a natural product that appeals to the emotions but also a product that offers a very therapeutic treatment for all kinds of skin. Elemis use only premium medical grade plant and flower extract which are hand picked in the early morning so as to get the best oils, it takes 8,000 000 jasmine blooms to get 1 kilo of absolute oil and no heat is used in this process. The cleansing wash comes in a hard plastic bottle (great if you are like me, slippery hands and glass do not a great combination make.) L'Oreal Pure Zone Deep Exfoliating Gel Wash contains soap - which does kill bacteria but makes my skin very dry and flare up Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Scrub is a grainy scrub - this did not dry my skin or cause irritations but I haven't noticed a any reduction in bacteria around the affected areas. I had been using these alternatively over the course of approximately 6 months. Skin analysis Since July Elemis and I were first concentrating on eliminating rosacea from my face which we manage to reduce a medium-severe to a practically mild-ish state.while the photos still showed an enourmous black spot areas on my nose and chin with only the bacteria infected areas having lessened. ...Elemis' Skin Buff is best used in combination with other Elemis products, and it certainly fulfils its role. Unlike other exfoliators which tend to either try to sandpaper off your eyebrows, or tentatively slough off 1.2 skin cells before giving up, this works the way it should work. Skin Buff has a creamy consistency with what feels like teeny tiny little balls in the mixture. This means that you don't feel rough edges against your skin, and you don't have to use much pressure for it to work well. A small amount, about the size of a 2p coin will spread all over the face, but use a little water so that it doesn't irritate the skin too much. Whilst the smell isn't bad, neither is it as nice as most of the other Elemis products. Camomile is one of the active ingredients, and it forms the main basis of the fragrance. It... Read review

...I use a big range of Elemis skin care products and have found them to be brilliant. My skin is smoother and clearer than it ever has been. I have been using Elemis for nearly two years and just love it. However, the S.O.S. cream is one of the few products from their range that I feel does not live up to what it says. The product claims to soothe and balance sensitive skin, it is to be applied to areas of high colour and to irritated parts of the face and decollete. I would be prone to redness and at times sensitivity so I thought the cream would be perfect for me, but unfortunately not. I have used almost all of the product and will continue to until it is finished, only because it was quite expensive. Elemis S.O.S. made no difference what so ever to my skin apart from making it feel quite sticky as it takes a long time... Read review

...Last year I turned 30 and treated myself to a stay at Springs Health Farm and opted for a couple of extra treatments. One of these was a Japanese Silk Booster Facial which cost me a whopping £64 (yes really) using all Elemis products and when it was finished my skin felt really wonderful. The therapist then wrote me out a 'prescription' for the products she recommended for my skin. If I'd bought them all they would have come to a incredible £168 and there was no way I was spending that sort of money so I thought I'd treat myself to one product only. I decided on the S.O.S Emergency Cream as this is a more specialised product and I thought that I could use my ordinary cleansers and moisturisers and use this as a top-up when needed. Advantages: Pleasent smell when applying and does not streak.

...I am a big fan of Elemis products and was very keen to try their self tanning cream. The cream comes in attractive packaging and has a pleasent smell when applying. I did however find it quite difficult compared to other self tanning products to apply because it does not have a colour guide. I therefore spent longer applying just in case I missed a bit. When application was complete I thought my skin felt really smooth and moisturised. I always put my false tan on just before I go to bed so it has plenty of time to develop before showering in the morning. I couldn't wait to wake up and see the results, I was so excited-sad I know!! In the morning I rushed to the bathroom mirror to see the results, I couldn't believe it-NOTHING!! l searched everywhere for some sign that I had carefully applied false tan the night before...
