...If you happen to need a 60cm Cooker Hood that hides behind a door panel that matches rest of your kitchen then do consider this one. It has three speeds, the first is adequate for day to day use and compared to the Hygena one which I had before is extremely quiet and the third will clear the room if some mishap happens but is as noisey as the Hygena on its first setting (the reason it got replaced). The light is good and bright and mine is grey in color with bright silver filters which goes well with stainless steel appliances, it looks better than expected and speed and lighting controls are under a plastic cover to stop them getting gunked by grease. ...When my friend came to visit me from Austria, I was a bit stuck on things to do, and places to visit, as I'd never properly explored Nottingham. But of course, we had to see some of the Robin Hood sights! So off I went to the tourist information centre, and picked up every leaflet going (most of which ended up in the bin!). I needed somewhere cheap and easy to get to. Unfortunately Sherwood Forest was out of the question, no car and lack of info on public transport there. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I spotted a voucher, buy one adult ticket, get one free for the Tales of Robin Hood! We had initially ruled the place out as the entry is a tad expensive, but with this voucher of course we'd go! It's really easy to find, on Maid Marion Way, just off the Market Square. ...I can`t believe that I am actually sitting here writing an opinion on a cooker hood. What the Smeg can I possibly say that will make anyone out there want to buy a Smeg KSEIV95X cooker hood ? And who the hell would want to put anything in their kitchen with the word SMEG emblazoned across it. The modern homes exhibition will never be the same again. Beautiful fitted kitchens that contain more SMEG than a Thailand brothel. It is a hood, it is made by Smeg, it goes above the cooker and it sucks out all the unwanted fumes that make your nice clean home smell like a backstreet greasy spoon diner. And before anyone asks me, yes, I do get commission for the number of times I include the name SMEG in my op (I wish). lmao. Advantages: look pretty, usually soft

...I have fallen into the trap of buying hooded towels for both of my children and each time wondering why I bothered. Basically what they are are very small towels, more like hand towels, with an extra triangle shaped piece of towel sown into one corner in order to make a hood. This time I chose a Mothercare pack of three towels in shades of pink and white. This cost me £12, but if you shop around you can find them slightly cheaper at around £3 per towel, or a lot more expensive like toys r us at £9.99 per towel! I was disapointed with the mothercare ones as while in the pack they look quite thick and soft but upon opening you realise that the thickness comes from layers of cardboard wedged in between each towel! They are thin and not exactly rough but they could be softer. The idea is that you put the hood over the babys head... Read review
