...I am a self obsessed lip balm fan and always love trying new ones on the market. I am not a snob or posh but you can quite often find me draped around the make up counters in department stores especially the clinique counter!!! Today though i shall not be telling you about clinique products though but that of Elizabeth Arden. As any beauty conscious girl will know Elizabeth Arden fame themselves on their Eight Hour Cream and if you read the glossy mags like me you wil see that all the stars use this. Obviously this is in my make up bag too simply because its brill!!!! ...I would probley say I like lip-gloss a lot more than lipstick. If I'm at a make-up counter in a store anywhere in the world, you can be sure to find me browsing at the lip-gloss selection. Lancome, Dior, Chanel, Rimmel and Maybelline I'll try them all, I don't care what price they are very little or a lot as long as they do the trick on making my lips look as good as possible. There's something about Elizabeth Arden that makes me go back for more and more of there products. I've bought everything from Elizabeth Arden from foundations to eye shadows and mascaras. But never, may I say have I bought a lip-gloss until last week from the range. ...Years ago I lived in red lippy, so vain I’d not open the door without swiping some lippy over my lips. One Christmas I was given the ultimate in red lipstick a wonderful red that shouted class -well it would have if not teamed up pale foundation black eye liner and back combed hair but that’s another story. The manufactor of this lippy was Elizabeth Arden. When it ran out I braved the Elizabeth Arden counter complete with orange faced assistant who was probably equally as charitable about my appearance as I was her’s. Unfortunately they’d stopped making it. ...The first time i ever tried the Elizabet Arden Metallic Lip Liner was the night of a friend's birthday party. I had lost mine and so i before i left the house i had a rummage though my mum's make up purse. I found this and thought i'll try it. The colour was simply gorgeous not showing up too brightly but still outlining my lips. Ever since then, i have regualrly bought this lip liner because it is just of such a good quality and will alst for hours on end without needing a re-application. Even if i do re-apply, it's just because i love the colour and feel of it. I am in love with this product....simply addicted. I would most definitely recommend people to buy this. Tip: try colouring your lips with it to give the most gorgeous colour and then covering with clear gloss. =]... Read review

...Like all good magazine-reading, beauty-loving sheep, I'm a big fan of that classic orange goo, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. It really does solve all life's problems (Or at least it stops my skin from drying out). But I find 99% of the time I only use it on my lips, and at £18 a tube, that's a pretty pricey lipbalm / gloss. There has been a lip treatment alternative - a lip protectant stick that basically looked like a translucent white lipstick - for some time, but I was never convinced it was going to be as good as the cream, and you don't get much in a stick compared to a tube of cream. I wanted an added incentive to part with my cash. So when those bods at Elizabeth Arden decided to make a tinted version, I thought it was worth splashing out on because I was getting two for the price of on - protection and sheer colour. Perfect... ...it on chapped dry skin. Slap a bit on before you go to bed & voila! Moisturised skin! The same goes for lips. Although the smell is a bit naff, it is the best lip salve I've used. It soothes & moisturies dry lips & also works quite well as a lip gloss. If you have dry flaky lips, slap someeight hour cream on & rub gently with a dry toothbrush to exfoliate. Eyelashes. If you put some on at night after you've taken your makeup off it promotes growth & makes your lashes thicker & fuller! I also know some people who simply use it in the daytime instead of mascara. It works great on burns. Because it is rich in Vitamin E, if you have any small burn marks, rubbing this cream in a few times a day will really help the healing process & help reduce scarring. Nails.
