The front of the bottle features the kind of art deco flower which seems to be predominant on these "summer" products. Nice finish if used correctly

Advantages: Suits fair (ish) skin, lasts for ages, compact with large mirror
Disadvantages: Can be dry putting on, can be patchy

...This is a nice foundation and it is quite a reasonable price too. It does offer a flawless finish , however it doesnt last too long. I have some scars on my cheek from a particularly bad outbreak of spots I had about a year ago. The scars are red and very noticable. When I apply this foundation I cant see the scars but it only last about 4 hours so I have to carry it around with me which is fine because it comes in a nice little case with a large mirror in it. But I would prefer if i didnt have to reapply it all... The foundation can be pretty dry putting it on - so its best to have a bit of moisturiser on your face so that it will just glide on otherwise it can look patchy on your face. Another thing i found is if you dont use an exfoliating face wash this foundation tends to stick to any bits of dry skin you have...

I'VE MET MY PERFECT MATCH

Advantages: Looks professional. Absolutely flawless and smooth, lasts for hours

...the foundation and leave me with dry, flaky patches, not an attractive look! Firstly, this one comes in a rather elegant bottle and has a great pump dispenser, so much better than the open bottles where the liquid comes out too fast and you get too much. It provides you with just enough to cover each section of your face. The amount in the bottle is 30ml but will go a long way especially as you have the pump dispenser. It goes on well, even when I hadn’t put moisturiser on first (which I recommend you do). It’s specifically for dry skin. It’s runny without being too wet. It blends wonderfully and the finish result is amazing! It looks so flawless and smooth and gives a medium coverage without looking or feeling heavy. I don’t even feel like I have anything on my face which is a bonus, I hate feeling like I have makeup on...

Elizabeth Arden gets top marks again! (Elizabeth Arden Intervene)

Advantages: Excellent natural finish that lasts all day, without touching up.
Disadvantages: None!

...well after applying it and also comes off very easily with makeup wipes from my face each evening. I really was pleased with my choice of colour, when I first bought this foundation. This intervene makeup was even hiding a few wrinkles around my eyes, so this made me feel great. The makeup lasted all day on my face and it did not need touching up. I could not believe I did not need to reapply it when I first tried this out. Once a day is all you need to apply with this foundation and to me that is excellent! What this Makeup claims and does.' Elizabeth Arden Intervene Foundation Makeup states on it that it helps put a pause on aging signs. Well I have not noticed this yet with this makeup, but hopefully it will. It does smooth out imperfections, evens out skin tone and creates a softer natural finish that will last all day...

Review of Elizabeth Arden Intervene Makeup

You hate wearing foundation usually?

Advantages: Does exactly what it promises!
Disadvantages: It's not cheap!

...I hate wearing foundation, but there seems to be no way round it for my wedding. The very helpful girl on the Debenhams Elizabeth Arden counter matched me up with the Flawless Finish Radiant Make up and it is fantastic - I am a total convert! It's really hard to tell that you're wearing it, unless you get very close up to the mirror, but the overall result is brilliant. It evens out skin tone, but it gives the most amazing finish - like magazine model skin! It really does have a luminous finish and it doesn't feel like a 'medium coverage' foundation, as it's described - it's much much lighter than that. I use the Flawless Finish ultra smooth loose power with it and my word, does that also do exactly what it says! I think I have pretty good skin at 36, but this knocks 10 years off it!...
