...Elysee Permanent Hair Removal System
Having being either disappointed with wax strips and other products for hair removal, and spent fortunes trying to find a product that does what it says, I decided to try the Soft Touch permanent hair removal system by Elysee. The painless and permanent claim drew me to give it a try. So?..
Cost
£35 - yes a bit expensive but was worth the price.
Contents.
The system comes with all you need to operate it (no opening it and having to run to the chemist for anything extra like batteries!), and is neatly packed in a fold over pouch. The instruction guide that comes with it extensively explains how it works and how to use it in a simple way that can be easily understood.
How it works
Not being a scientist I have had to give the explanation in the booklet. Evidently, when you put the gel...

Review of Elysee ELEC PEN
Advantages: Location, Room Size Disadvantages: Facilities offered were minimal.
...I stayed in this hotel in August 2007 and the following is my view and opinion.
I would also like to state that on Ciao, this hotel is listed as a 1 star hotel, whereas in fact the Elysees Opera is a 3 star hotel. The hotel is named America Opera and Elysees Opera, i stayed in the Elysees Opera. I'm not sure as to why there are 2 names?
Location
The road of Rue de Turin was very easy to find. We got the Metro to the nearest stop, Rome, and we were provided with a small map illustrating the location. So we found the road and walked down it, only passing one hotel on the way down. This hotel was named The America Opera. However we had booked in to The Elysees Opera Hotel. So we kept walking until we got to the end of the road. We decided that we would go to the hotel and ask for directions to our one. As we approached we...
Advantages: Good view... Disadvantages: ...but not the best
...♫ "Aux Champs Elysees? Aux Champs Elysees? Au soleil? sous la pluie?" ♫
Do you know the song?
If not, at least you must have heard of the Champs Elysees. French people like to call it "The most beautiful avenue of the world". I am sorry to contradict them, but I have always wondered why. It is in fact quite ordinary.
You'll find lots of cars, bad traffic, nice crowded shops and over-expensive coffee. That's it. Oh no! How could I forget? Among all that, you will find one of the most famous sights in Paris: the Arc de Triomphe.
It was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 in order to commemorate his victories, but wasn't finished until 1836. It is 50 meters tall and 45 meters wide.
I always thought the Arc de Triomphe was nice to look at, but I had never bothered visited it? until last summer.
I had taken my...

Review of Arc de Triomphe
Advantages: Great for toning\building muscle Disadvantages: Not recommended for use by people with certain medical conditions: Diabetes, Pacemakers, MS, Varicose Veins, Epilepsy, Skin disorders, Sunburn, Pregnancy.
Advantages: offers lots to do and see Disadvantages: you never have enough time.
...PARIS the capital of France. I have been many times, for work, for pleasure, for shopping, to parties, to concerts, to museums, to special days such as the 14th July national holiday. For the Tour de France, the World Cup. I use it as a international connection to other countries (by train or plane). I have also got stuck in traffic for many hours whilst trying to get the other side of the city.
Depending on the reason of your visit, Paris has so much to offer. Paris has some of the most famous landmarks in history. The Eiffel tower, Le Louvre, L'arc de Triumph, Champs Elysee are among the most renowned.
I find that I never have enough time to visit everything I plan to do when I go. I usually plan two activities for the morning and two in the afternoon. The rest of the time to soak up the atmosphere. Enjoying one of the street...

Review of Paris in general
Advantages: Great place to start your trip Disadvantages: Need good walking shoes and a pack of plasters
...It has got to be said the Champs Elysees has to be the best Street in the World! I have just come back from an absolutely fantastic time spent on a weekend in Paris - one of the best parts of my trip there was looking down the Champs Elysees from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Something I will never forget - and will treasure the photo I took of that view! The view is absolutely fantastic - a birds eye view of not only the Champs Elysees but of the whole of Paris strectching over to the Effiel Tower.
It certainly is a must-see when visiting Paris. Once you pull yourself away from the dizzy heights of the Arc de Triomphe - be prepared to shop til you drop on the Champs Elysees - and remember to pick your lower jaw up off the floor at the magnificant shops that are there to be seen and explored - everything you could want from...
Advantages: Excercising whilst doing nothing Disadvantages: Not everyone can use this
...I recently borrowed a friends Elysee 4 pad toning system and eventually plucked up the courage to go ahead and try it out, I was afraid so very afraid but once I had used it I thought what was all the fuss about!
APPEARANCE
The main unit is a small white box with knobs on it for changing the length and strength of each pulse, it comes with four rubber pads that get plugged in to the main unit and there are straps of different sizes that you use to keep the pads in place.
HOW IT WORKS
The main unit is battery powered not mains powered so there is no risk of electrocution. You plug the four pads into the main unit and then place them onto the parts of your body that you wish to tone, I tried them on my stomach, you need to tense your muscles to make sure that you have placed the pad in the correct place as when the unit is turned...
Advantages: Wide, magnificent et beautiful (as the title suggests) Disadvantages: Quite long and so many attractions on the way so may take rather long time
...Walking down the Champs Elysee in a sunny day is just the perfect thing to do in Paris.
We started from the other end of the Concord. It is uphill and you can just see l'arc de triumphe on the other side of hill and you just feel that you had to walk down there - a little experience of how Napoleon felt when he rode here (although the other way round!)
At the first half of the street there are not much but paths to parks at either side and I think there was a palace-like building. There were the French Parasols down both sides of the road and it did remind me of London (can't remember its name but the one down to the parliament - I think).
Then shops starts to come on both sides - perfume shops, cafes, cinemas and even garages (of Peutgeot and Citron)! The one I loved most is the Peutgeot garage (believe it or not!) coz there...
