...When it came to booking our honeymoon we had many choices to make one of them included travelling on a reliable airline to help get the honeymoon off to a good start as being cramped and having a horrible flight is not what I would call a good start. As we had decided to book with Tradewinds a well known tour operator rather than package it ourself we had two airlines to choose from that would get us to our final destination, Qatar Airways or Emirates. Wanna Fly, Then Fly Emirates

Advantages: Comfortable, Staff, Evrything..
Disadvantages: None i can think off

...If i have travel international i have travelled maximum time by Emirates Airlines. Emirates is a part of The Emirates Group from Dubai & it is the Ninth largest airline in the world. but for me its the best Airlines i have travel with & i think it will be for most of the time. Emirates - Flying High

Advantages: Award winning Airline of 2001, efficient service, excellent in-flight entertainment with live on-board cameras showing front views, comfortable flight, plenty of Emirates stop-over offers
Disadvantages: none really…hope it expands its fleet faster and adds the US sector sooner!

Emirates - very dissapointing

Advantages: On-time ... erm, on-time ..
Disadvantages: leg room, customer service, entertainment on older aircraft

...I had a very mixed experience with Emirates recently. It was the first time I had flown with them and after reading the reviews on Ciao was prepared for a really nice flight. We flew Emirates from Birmingham to Dubai, and then onwards to Bangkok. Online check in is excellent and I would recommend this to anybody that has access to the internet, straight forward and no queues at the airport, unfortunately we were not able to use this service on the return journey as the aircraft was coming from Sydney - this is where the problems started and I shall go into further details later on in the review. The flight leaving Birmingham was on time, but the plane (Boeing 777) was extremely tatty, I was sat on a seat that was of a different colour to all the others and the warning bells started ringing when it seemed the chair was not going to...

...I am writing this email to share my recent experience with flying Emirates. I live in Houston, TX. My parents live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My father recently broke his hip by accident and required surgery. I purchased a round trip Emirates e-ticket urgently from an independent agent in Austin, TX. There were so many problems during this round trip journey that I am writing two separate paragraphs to cover the entire experience. Houston, TX to Dhaka, Bangladesh: I left on July 10th to ensure that I am in Dhaka for my father?s surgery on the 12th. I was supposed to fly Continental from Houston to JFK and then make an Emirates connection to Dubai and onward to Dhaka. My CO flight from Houston to JFK kept getting delayed. I knew that if I waited for that flight I would miss my Emirates connection in JFK and ultimately miss my father...

Emirates - highly rated!

Advantages: Not having to fly from London Airports, nice food, entertainment choices
Disadvantages: Aircraft getting a bit old, longer journey times, shopping temptation in Dubai

...I have just booked my third, consecutive long haul ticket with Emirates Airline. After two trips to Bangkok, this time I'm off to Kuala Lumpur with hubby. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the other airlines. On the contrary, I have flown with many excellent airlines including BA, Cathay Pacific, Thai and KLM. However, the main plus point for me with Emirates is the fact that it flies from Birmingham, my local airport, which is only a fifteen minute drive away from home. For someone who loves travelling to the Far East, this is extremely significant. Flying Emirates means no more smelly airport coaches to London (try sitting next to the loo for up to five hours), getting stuck on the M40 and nearly missing a flight and no more huge queues in LHR. Emirates-Keep Going

Advantages: Child freindly flight

...We had flown and the experience was excellent. The staff was very freindly and helpful.Its a very child freindly flight and the staff has good experience in dealing with kids. For families with children I strongly recommend fly emirates... The flight timings are very comfortable for those doing business in the Asian countries especially India. The staff is very attentive and values the comfort of the customer. We were travelling with our 2 year old son and had requested for a full row, the staff gave us exactly what we had asked for. The food was yummy. My son was very happy on board. I had a very peaceful flight with emirates in this time of july. Where the customer comfort is priority I can only think of one name Emirates....

Larnaca to Malta - the Emirates way

Advantages: Spacious seats, choice of economy or business class, good onboard facilities.
Disadvantages: A little pricey for a short journey. Crew uniforms could be brightened up a bit.

...Each February we make our way from Cyprus to Malta, to join my parents whilst they are there on holiday. From Cyprus, there are 2 airlines to choose from, or so they would have you believe - Air Malta or Emirates. Choose Air Malta and it will cost you more and you will end up on Emirates anyway, as it's a code share flight. So, we're lucky! We get to fly on with a great airline, fab service, good food, excellent entertainment and, dare I say it - no delays! The food on board is a little different than UK airline foods and a meal I always look forward to. Usually some nice fresh fruit, salad, a range of sliced meat, water, juice etc - and real cutlery. Emirates get Gold plus star from me

Advantages: they know how to treat you good
Disadvantages: not a thing

...We had never flown with Emirates Airlines but had of course heard that they have been voted the top Airline numerous times. We travelled with them to Dubai. Imust explain that we won this trip so we had no choice in the airline we flew with but if and I hope we do go again we would fly with these again. We caught the 10pm flight as it would mean a sleep on the plane and because of the 3 hour time difference we would arrive in Dubai at 8.30 am which would give us those extra hours there. We took off from London Heathrow Terminal 3. The plane left on time. We had plenty enough leg room. Emirates also give you pillows, blankets and earphones all of which you will find waiting for you on your seat. They are not for you to keep though!
