Disadvantages: Overly descriptive to the point of boredom.

I have read many authors, and this is the first time that I have read Kate Atkinson, and I have to admit it was enough to make me careful about parting with Seven Pounds again. The self indulgence of the author did not pay off, and left me feeling that the only words appropriate to the way in which her mind worked whilst writing the book were the words of the title "Emotionally Weird". ...I?ve only been a fan of BT (Brian Transeau) since his third album, ?Movement In Still Life?, but in that time I?ve held him in very high regard, and collected not just his previous albums but some old singles and remixes too. He?s best known for trance anthems such as ?Flaming June? and ?Remember? (both from his sophomore LP ?ESCM?), but by MiSL this sound had diversified to include breakbeat, hip-hop and drum and bass. I seriously can?t recommend that album enough. The arrival of his fourth album, however, caught me off guard. It was only by chance I saw ?Emotional Technology? on Amazon, imported from Canada at a price of £15.99. I waited a while, but there was no sign of a UK release - not even mentioned on www.btmusic.com. Again, quite by chance, though I saw it on cd-wow just prior to Christmas at £8.99 including a disc of bonus...

Advantages: Attractive rates, no tie-in period. Smart mortgage.
Disadvantages: The discounted rate is only 6 months - some lenders discount for longer

...I recently purchased a house and wanted a good deal on my mortgage. I wanted everything - a discounted rate, cashback and also no tie-in period. The tie-in period was very important to me as I had to leave my previous mortgage lender (the Leeds & Holbeck) and they charged me over £3000 to do this because I was still within my 5 year tie-in period. I could have stayed with the Leeds & Holbeck to avoid paying this huge fee but Leeds & Holbeck would not lend me the extra money (I needed £120,000) for my new house. I decided to go to Intelligent Finance and I was very pleased to hear that they would lend me up to £140,000 - more than enough for what I needed!   Artfully intelligent but awfully indulgent

I felt I couldn't really connect with the characters, there was an emotional distance there, which was actually more reminiscent of Kubrick. There are great moments as always and despite the slow pace I was not aware of the length of the movie until I read other reviews on it. It was compelling watching to see which way it was going to go. For me, Speilberg made the wrong choices on too many occasions and there is definitely a better film hiding in here trying to get out. But compared to your average no-intelligence-required Hollywood movies this is a work of art. It does make you think and if you're aware of its complexity beforehand you'll probably quite enjoy it. QUICK ISA OVERVIEW:- The type of ISA I got with Intelligent finance is a mini cash ISA which basically means you've got a savings account that the tax man doesn't get a piece of. It's instant access so you can withraw when you want and there is no risk involved (unlike a shares ISA's where you could lose out depending on the share price). With a mini ISA you can deposit up to £3000 per tax year into the account that will earn you a reasonably high interest rate and you won't pay tax on it.
