Quick energy fix
Advantages: They are absorbed into your body quickly and with no side effects
Disadvantages: They don't always work and only help so much
...'d think nothing of eating a packet just like that. Although you can't do serious harm by having a few more than you should they won't be as effective, which defeats the whole purpose of taking them in the first place. If your sugar levels are pushed up too quickly then they'll go down just as quickly leaving you thinking they're not working. Personally the most I'd take in a day would be two and that would really be rare. Taking a tablet helps most of the time but I have taken one before and not noticed and real difference. This is probably due to me having the tablets too close to each other and my sugar levels rising and dropping quickly.
Overall I do think that Dextro energy tablets are good. You just need to know how they work so you can use them efficiently. They help me through busy days where I'm doing more physical things. I've also...

Give Me Energy!
Advantages: A good energy boost, Taste nice
Disadvantages: Don't make the mistake and eat them like sweets
...Dextro energy tablets come in five different flavours which are original, orange, blackcurrant, lemon and tropical. I haven't tried all of these flavours but have tasted the orange and lemon varieties. I have done a bit of research on these as well as testing them myself to help in my review. Before I go any further I would like to make the point that they are not designed to be eaten as sweets.
AIMS
Dextro energy tablets are designed to give a quick energy release to help in endurance sports for example marathon running or other sports which last longer than thirty minutes or so. These tablets are high in glucose which the body uses as an energy supply to fuel your exercise. This means that you are topping up your body's glycogen reserves so that you do not run out of energy as you are exercising.
PACKAGING
The packets...

A Boost of Energy or Not.......?
Advantages: Tasty Quite Healthy Sweets
Disadvantages: Too Addictive
...I first remember being introduced to these odd large tablet like energy sweets by my mum when I was a young child. My mum felt these were better for us than a "normal" packet of sweets. When I first tried them I didn't think very much of them but can now quite honestly say I am addicted to them!
THE CLAIMS
Dextro Energy was first introduced in 1936 when the Olympics were held in Berlin. It is claimed that Dextro Energy can supply our bodies with energy we may have lost through our busy lifestyles, or for athletes who may need that little extra boost, it is also said to aid concentration. Dextro Energy is made up of 82% Dextrose, which is basically another name for glucose and a natural form of sugar, usually found in fruit and honey, this is the ingredient which is supposed to give us our energy boost. Our bodies naturally...

Energy drink at a great price
Advantages: Cost, Taste
Disadvantages: Not available in pubs's and club's
...This review is on ?Emerge Energy Drink?
As I sit here and write this review I wonder how this drink can be sold for 24p which is a saving of over £1.00 if compared to its nearest rival. Now is that because it?s poor taste, nasty ingredients or something else! Well I hope to explain that to you during this review.
I am not someone who often reviews food and drink products, so sorry for the layout. I am just reviewing it in the order I like to read.
About Emerge
Emerge is sold in the UK in most supermarkets, coming in single cans or as part of a multipack you can expect to notice this drink in its bright orange can.
Emerge is manufactured and distributed from Derby in England.
The company responsible for the production of this drink are Cott, on their website they claim to be one of the largest non alcohol drinks. Cott...

Emerge Yourself In Energy
Advantages: Cheap, Gives you energy, Nice mixed with other drinks
Disadvantages: Not the nicest energy drink
...Emerge is one brand of energy drink that is a cheaper version of bigger brands such as Red Bull. There are many other brands of energy drink as well, the market is full of them all and sometimes the choice isn't easy. Whilst Red Bull is the leading brand there are others such as: Monster, Rockstar, Full Throttle, Gatorade, Tesco Diet Kick, Lucozade Sport, XS Energy Drinks, Zappa Energy drink and Relentless to name, but a few. I would say that somewhere at the bottom of this list in terms of popularity comes Emerge.
You can purchase Emerge from places such as, Lidl, Netto, Asda and Poundland where it is sold at around 0.30GBP depending on where you buy it and the offers available at the time. It is amazing value for money and hard to believe really which is why I was a bit sceptical of the taste at first. However compared to...

Energy Efficient Tumble Dryer
Advantages: Extra Large 7kg Capacity, Energy Saving, 6th Sense Technology System & Filter Full Alert
Disadvantages: Regular Cleaning Required
...The Whirlpool AWZ7913 tumble dryer also known as the 6th Sense condenser dryer is ideal for those rainy days when its impossible to hang your clothes outside to dry. I'm not too keen on tumble dryers but had to get one for exactly that reason. I went with Whirlpool because of the good reputation it has in manufacturing these types of appliances.
The tumble dryer comes in only one colour, white which would fit nicely in any kitchen. The main features and functions of the Whirlpool tumble dryer are:
- Extra large 7kg capacity which is excellent for drying large items, the extra space helps reduce tangling and creasing also makes ironing much easier. With more room for the clothes to move around, laundry dries faster which in return saves energy and time.
- Energy Saving, the tumble dryer is recommended by the energy saving trust...

Energy, give me a break
Advantages: Cheap, small, convenient, harmless? taste ok
Disadvantages: Not sure if they work
...When I was younger I had an undiagnosed, overactive thyroid condition which would raise it's ugly head from time to time. When I was eventually diagnosed my Doctor told me that at times my thyroid had possibly been underactive also and this explained my fluctuating weight and the low energy levels I often had. Until I knew what was the
problem I tried many things in an attempt to stabilise my weight and give me some energy.
Amongst the products I tried was Dextro Energy Tablets. These tablets to me taste like large, hard, sherbet sweets. They almost taste like those hard lollipops that used to be called traffic lights. You know the sherbet ones. They are very hard but dissolve quite easily on the tongue and this is usually the recommended way to consume these tablets. They have a dry chalky taste initially. The recommended dose is...

BIG BLUE ENERGY BLAST!!!!
Advantages: Does what it says - gave me a BIG blast of energy!
Disadvantages: Horrible taste, gave me a headache, I don't like the lid, too much sugar for me
...Powerade Mountain Blast Energy Drink
...What is it?
It is an energy drink manufactured by Coca Cola. It is bright blue in colour and tastes very sweet, not everyone will like the sugary taste but some will. It is gluten free and is known to give you energy.
It's Blue!
When I first saw this bright blue drink my first reaction was, 'God, that's blue!', as I think a lot of people reading this will also think when they first see it!
The fact that it is bright blue might put some people off. The colour put me off at first because I thought there must be so many artificial colourings in it to get it to be that colour (I am slightly allergic to artificial additives, they give me headaches etc).
Despite my first thoughts I did decide to try this one day, though....
Why Did I Buy Powerade Mountain Blast Energy Drink...

EDF Energy!
Advantages: Brilliant customer service!!
Disadvantages: None what so ever they are a brilliant company!
...EDF Energy are a brilliant company to be with when it comes to electricity and gas, i have been with them for nearly a year and i am glad that i did switch and go with them. I used to pay my bills via payment cards each month which where good and i paid the rest of my bill when it arrived!! When i moved flats the previous people used pre-payment card and key (luckily they was with EDF)...i was unsure and first and couldnt be bothered to get someone in to change it all over, but i love being on pre-payment i seem to spend less now then before...
Well with EDF energy you get a really good customer service, they are really friendly and excellent...I didnt realise i had a problem with my gas card, you would have thought i would of notice something was wrong when it took the counter person 10 times to get my card to work, i received...

This could "EMERGE " as the best energy drink!
Advantages: Ok tasting and seems to give a little energy boost.
Disadvantages: Full of sugar and calories.
...I am not nor have I ever been very big into energy drinks but as I get older in years and heavier in weight I seem to rely on them more and more to get me through my hour of five aside football every week. I loathe paying the price for things like red bull and the other leading brands so I often resort to Asda`s own and things like that but the new kid on the block for me is one called Emerge.
Emerge is a typical energy drink both in appearance as well as taste, it comes in a long thin can like most other energy drinks and if it were served ice cold in a glass to me I would swear blind it was red bull as there is little or no difference when cold, but if it is not ice cold then there is a bit of a bitterness about the taste in my opinion and I have never noticed this with red bull.
Energy drinks are basically soft drinks with added...
