I set myself a budget of around £20- £25 and started my research for a worthy engine oil for my car. FINDING A MOTOR OIL My first port of call was my local car accessories shop 'Lively Motors' in Fulham (London) which recommended the brand Castrol for quality and Comma oil on price. *Castor oil? NO, Castrol oil! . . .

Advantages: A very good quality oil.
Disadvantages: Has to be paid for.

...This oil is Castrol GTX, which stands for - errr - OK it doesn't actually stand for anything really. Anyway, so this is suitable for all Petrol engines, including ones fitted with a Turbocharger, If you have a Diesel, you will require Castrol GTD. I do recommend this oil, and if buying, I would advise shopping around at local Motor accessory shops, and Supermarkets and DIY Superstores, where you will find bargains. Disadvantages: A little bit expensive but worth it

Bio Oil

Advantages: Gives the skin a smooth even appearance.
Disadvantages: None really, perhaps a bit too greasy if you put too much on.

...I decided to try Bio-Oil after spending lots of money on other products to try and eradicate the blemishes and uneven skin tone on my face. After a week of using Bio-Oil I could see a difference in my skin ton, brightness, and also the smoothness of my skin. It also helped to smooth out wrinkles under my eyes, an area which I have tried many products on and none of them have made a difference. It also helped smooth the appearance of visible pores around my nose are. As long as you don't use too much it is not greasy ans sinks in straight away. I now use it everyday and would not buy anything else. I have also found that although it seems quite a small bottle, it has lasted me weeks as you do not need to use very much at all....

One Oil for Everything...

It's the spot-scars that paricularly bother me, as they are on my face and some were quite red and didnt seem to be fading. I saw an advert for Bio-Oil in a magazine and casually thought I might give it a try. I forgot about it for a while, and then, on spotting it on the shelf on my next Boots visit, I thought 'Why not?' I think I paid £8.49 for my 60ml bottle, which sounds a lot, but it does, as I had expected, last for a long time. I've had my bottle for 3-4 months of almost daily use now, and I'd say I've got about another month's use in there yet.
