Many argue that the best form of practice is to play games, but the argument so far certainly disagrees with that philosophy. Is the influx of foreign players to blame? Some nationalities are countries that some people may have thought didn't even think existed or played football! However, legal constraints could apply if clubs block players from playing due to their nationality. Advantages: Sven has improved the confidence of the players
Disadvantages: Not enough of the squad play abroad

...Okay, let?s put it in perspective, if we can. The England football team went out of the Euro 2004 competition as a result of a bad refereeing decision, disallowing a legitimate goal. So we were unlucky, right? Well, yes and no. Unlucky in that particular incident, yes. Unlucky in not progressing further in the competition, maybe not. Had we won the game against Portugal, it would have been in defiance of the home side having shown more skill, more tactical acumen and for long periods more determination than our team seemed able to muster.
