Disadvantages: Bad acting, bad plot

..."You can call it the art of fighting without fighting." -- Lee (Bruce Lee) When you watch Enter the Dragon these days, it becomes pretty obvious, almost immediately, where films like Mortal Kombat and Conan the Destroyer got their inspiration from. This, the first kung film to be produced by a major Hollywood studio, and the last completed Bruce Lee film before his death "by misadventure", is credited with popularizing the martial art in America and establishing Lee as a cultural icon. And the reason that the film is considered such a quintessential film of the 1970s is not because of the plot or acting (both are appalling, to say the least) but because of the action. The fight choreography in Enter the Dragon is so good that we needn't bother dwelling on what's bad here. So ignore the paper-thin, James Bond-type plot...

Really Do, Enter The Dru

Advantages: Consistent
Disadvantages: One slip in quality

...Released in 1998, "Enter The Dru" second album from the R&B quartet, Dru Hill (consisting of members Woody, Jazz, Nokio and Sisqo). It follows on from their successful self-entitled debut, and has them move on from lots of ballds, to a more balanced R&B record of the late nineties. 1. "Enter The Dru" (Intro) 2. "Real Freak" Immediately displaying their shift to a more 'urban' stye of R&B for this album, they get things going with a tune which has them balance their singing with funky production. It has a lot of synth going on, and it is just what you expect for suhc a tune of the time. The theme of it is in tune with this direction of the music too. **Four Stars** 3. Enter as Dragon... Exit as Legend!

Advantages: Superb fight sequences, compelling plot and excellent acting.
Disadvantages: Standard of fighting is not as magnificent as Way of the Dragon.

Enter Shikari Fail To Get In 'The Zone' Here

Advantages: A 'New' CD from a great UK band
Disadvantages: Predominantly badly recorded demo tracks, a poor compilation of material

Advantages: Strong debut album, well chained together songs
Disadvantages: Ends too abruptly, for some it may take some getting used to

...Russian Circles are a three piece, post rock band from Chicago. And this is their debut album 'Enter' a mixture of melodic melodies and heavy riffs. Now, even though the whole album clocks up to only six songs, you're still getting your money's worth from this album, clocking up to just over 44 min of instrumental bliss. Plus, I'll describe every single track seeing as there is only six of them. Carpe: Begins slowly with a steady 4 note guitar pluck, but builds up to a heavy guitar thrashing only to pull you back and forward with the volume level and speed.
