Bags of jiffy bag envelopes

Advantages: padds some fragile goods
Disadvantages: not suitable for glass

...I received a DVD in a jiffy bag recently opened the bag carefully and put the bag ready to reuse with about 20 other old jiffy bags I have ready for recycling. Actually I am not sure that all of them are genuine jiffy bags but they are the same sort of thing. Jiffy bags made by Jiffy have been available for several years now I think they go back to the 1950?s. Jiffy bags are handy padded envelope bags that can be bought in a variety of sizes some as small as to 164 x 285mm, then several sizes upwards to 247 x 387mm, probably even larger ones available. The original bag is a golden brown heavy duty paper. The padded filling can be as simple as shredded paper. Envelopes - only the best

...These envelopes really are top-notch. For a start, they are multi-purpose - you can put a range of different types of leaflets, letters and other material inside this envelope as well as the pay-slips they are designed for. Of course, you may say all envelopes are the same, but i beg to differ - there are different shapes and sizes. This type of envelope even has a window where the recipients name can be seen! Ingenious! Unfortunately, you have to lick the top strip rather than the more high-tech option most enveloped have adopted these days of the Sellotape strip. This could become tiresome when posting many items in a batch. These envelopes also make your letter seem important with the brown pigment clearly shown in the picture. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone who has payslips/letters to send....

A sweet treat with no disappointing envelopes!!

Advantages: Cheap, delicious, no annoying "envelopes"!
Disadvantages: Might not look as fancy at a dinner party - use a plate!

...is standard of Tesco Value products, red and white stripes and a photograph of the product with nutritional info clearly stated on the front of the box. Inside are 20 mints split into sections of five, with none of those little "envelopes" you get with After Eights. For me this is a plus because there's nothing worse than putting your hand into the box to find them empty and I don't really find them too necessary. The mints themselves are thicker than most after dinner mints, I'd say the thickness of two After Eights stuck together. Both the chocolate and fondant filling are thicker, yet they are easy to bite into (even newly braced!) or melt in the mouth. The peppermint filling is smooth and contrasts well with the dark chocolate (not too bitter) without being an overpowering flavour. I mentioned wanting something low fat...

...I really do like Amazon, they have a great selection and the site is nearly always up to date, both here and the "dot.com" version. The goods I have ordered have always arrived in good time and have always been exactly as ordered. The "but" is, I think there shipping rates are quite steep. The actual postage on items from them is fine, it's the handling. I think £2.16 to place a book in an envelope is a bit much. This charge works out fine if you are ordering several books or items at once, but otherwise I find it cheaper to order single items from my local bookstore....

The Macbook Air features a tiny 80GB HDD - the same as the one found on iPods; and even if you add the optional 64GB SSD, it still lacks serious storage. Also, the thinnest book in the world also sacrifices on other essentials such as an optical drive...and instead asks you to buy (and carry around at extra weight!) an external drive to play your DVDs. It does feature some nifty features like the self-illuminating keyboard and all; but if you start weighing all its features against the hole to your wallet its going to make, you'd seriously need to decide if you need to spend that much for a notebook you can pull out of a manila envelop and impress everyone.
