Epson cx3200- Recommended 3 in 1

Advantages: Cheap 3 in 1 printer
Disadvantages: can be prone to paper jams

...I bought this 3 in 1 to replace an older epson 580 printer, which eventually expired after 3 years use.I like Epson printers I think they give good value for money and the print quality is good for the price range.My old Epson 580 was very noisy the cx3200 is noticeably quieter, and is of a superior build quality. The cx3200 represents great value for money combining a printer,scanner and stand alone photocopier,a very usefull feature you do not get with all 3 in 1 machines.(no PC connection required). The cx3200 falls somewhere bettween the home user and the small office user and would be at its best in a home business environment, where it is robust enough to cope with sizable print jobs, without being overlarge and industrial for the home environment. Review of Epson CX3200

CX3200 Epson All In One Printer

Advantages: Easy to use. All that I require and more.
Disadvantages: Current installation disk and loose paper trays

...I have had a CX3200 for 3/4 years or more, an exceptionally good machine up until now. Purchased from a stockist in the Midlands in a matter of a single phone call and excellent backup and knowledge by the sales person, unlike today with Epson. The machine has all that I require and more. Accepts A3 envelopes, US Letter size paper and slightly larger. The mains plug to the printer is 3 pin which gives a secure fixing at all times, unlike the DX6000 and others which have a 2 pin fitting and in no way permanent, they keep coming adrift. In the DX6000 Epson state that the the printer should not be moved, that in my opinion is not possible. If it is on a sliding shelf beneath the computer it has to be moved also the TAG/Serial number on the reverse can only be seen by moving it. The Rear Paper Feeder tray has to be fitted...

EPSON STYLUS CX6600 MULTI-PRINTER, TRULY SUPERB!

Advantages: STYLISH,WELL ENGINEERED, GOOD QUALITY PRINTING AND COPYING.
Disadvantages: I HAVE FOUND NONE IN ALMOST 4 YEARS!!

...THE EPSON STYLUS CX6600 MULTI-FUNCTION PRINTER. My last review was of the Epson Stylus R265. In that review I also mentioned that I had one for about four years that had been trouble free. THIS IS THE ONE!!. I am delighted that I purchased this model for my scanning, faxing, photographic printing requirements. Regarding the design, there are no square corners! It has a nicely rounded and an asthetically pleasing. I purchased this model for the princely sum of £99.99. I honestly think this printer will outlive me! For a multi-printer it has everything except that I have to put the paper in! LOL! Well I recommend this one to anyone that needs this kind of office or home printer with its good average printing speed (see specifications). The print quality is always good. The ink usage is good. The ease of use I would give 4 out of 5 but...

Advantages: high res scanner, high dpi printer, one touch copying, good level of control from the printer
Disadvantages: Long time to charge ink, photo prints aren't great, BestPhoto rpm takes ages

Epson CX3200 - A comprimise?

Advantages: Excellent quality, fast, Nice design

...Working for a graphics company speed and quality are essential. But I didnt buy the CX3200 for proof printing; it provided an ideal scanning and letter printing solution for the office. Theres always been a myth about all in ones; they do have everything in one, but they only do the tasks in moderation; your not going to get the quality of a top of the range printer of the scanning dpi of a top of the range scanner; and its important you acknowledge this before going out and buying one. But the CX3200 is arguably different; The speed of the printer is excellent, with speeds of up to 15 ppm in standard black text; its quite noisy however, it makes a bit of a churning sounds when printing. The quality is excellent, with a dpi of 5760 its a shame I couldn't use it for proof production; it would certainly be good enough...

...The Epson Stylus CX3200 is a good peripheral to have wether in the house or a small office, the CX3200 biggest advantage is that Print, Scan and Photocopy. The printer has a USB connection It is very easy to set up with the software that is provided with it, the software that it comes with is of a decent quality. It is quite a large machine but compared to some photocopiers on the market it is resonable and should fit quite easily on or in a computer desk. Printer: The printer on the CX3200 is an inkjet printer and produces good quality printouts for word and spreadsheet type document but doesnt have the same quality when printer photo's and highly detailed images. The CX3200 prints documents that are A4 or smaller and can also do things such as Head Alignment, Nozzle Check and Head Cleaning through the display screen on the front...

...I've had my CX3200 for about 2 years now and I have to say its a superb package. The item cost me 100GBP with 2 spare cartridges from a local computer dealership and its never let me down in two years of continuous use. The CX3200 is a printer, scanner and colour and black and white copier all in one. You might be forgiven for thinking its the jack of all trades and the master of none, but this isnt the case. The CX3200 manages a healthy 14 pages per minute in black and white and 10 pages per minute in colour - which is quite quick for an inkjet printer. Depending on the quality of paper used the unit is capable of up to 5760x720 DPI using performance enhancement software which is excellent. The unit also allows for PC-free copying of up to 10 pages per minute, and handy boon if you cant be bothered to turn on your PC to run...

Advantages: Good quality scanner and printer.

...This Epson Stylus CX5400 has definitely surpassed my opinions of previous Epson printers I have owned. I have had two or three cheaper inkjet printers which all went a bit funny with age but this one is holding up well. It is a high quality printer with built in scanner and photocopier. The print quality can be easily changed in the properties and can change between Draft, Text, Text & Image, Photo and Best Photo depending on what you are printing. Draft and text are very quick to print and the Best Phot option obviously takes a while but comes out at a very high quality. The scanner built into the top of the printer is again very high quality with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi x 2400 dpi. These come out on the computer at a very high quality. AVOID EPSON STYLUS CX6600

Advantages: sorry can not recommend any advantages for this Epson model
Disadvantages: expensive ink cartridges, stops working totally requiring service at a shop, constant paperjam

...I previously worked in admin/office work, always had HP Printers & a friend recommended Epson to me (big mistake) I purchased my Epson CX6600 18 months ago, after using the printer for approx 6 months it displayed printer error "see your documentation & call service if necessary" an Epson outlet service centre replaced the printer, the Second printer has been in my possession approx 12 months & again today it displays the same message, I have a small business & have to say BOTH printers were not used excessively (some days they are not used at all) & they constantly had paper jam, the ink is VERY expensive & overpriced by Epson & of course Epson set the printer default so you ARE UNABLE to use the printer AT ALL until it has been to their service centre! TOTAL RIP OFF & the quality of print & features are nothing startling, stick...

Advantages: Excellent quality, quick print speeds, great ink economy.
Disadvantages: Its a bit on the big side, but it is does everything you need.
