...This is projector is affordable but still has some positive features. The resolution of 1024 x 768 allows clear projection with much detail. However if you are interested in High definition or multimedia i would not recommend this. However for business or education this is perfect. The 2200 ANSI Lumens allows the pictures to be very bright in well lit conditions. It was very easy to set this up and epson provided all the cables in needed. This epson website is also very helpful for driver and software updates. Even though this is not a DLP projector i think this projector meets its demands nicely and is a good price. Other products to consider would be the Optoma range since they also are very good....

Epson EMP S4, one small, great projector

Advantages: Portable, quick to turn on/off, very easy to set up and use.
Disadvantages: Loud cooling system, rubbish internal speaker.

...I bought 10 Epson EMP S4 projectors for school I work for at summer 2006. Below you will find my personal opinion after one year of using and maintaining that product, but first short description. Epson EMP S4 is updated (in 2006) version of EMP S3. Epson's EMP S(x) line of projectors is design to suit mobile and office users. And it does it perfectly. It's small (33X25X9cm) and light (2.6kg). It comes with small remote control and a bag with shoulder strap. It's brightness (1800 ANSI lumens) and resolution (800x600) is sufficient to display presentation (text, photos and short movies) at 2-6m distance onto white wall or whiteboard (usage professional project screen will improve image brightness and sharpness) in bright room. Project your personality

Advantages: Outstanding quality and colour. Incredible value for money.
Disadvantages: Can overheat, doesn't work well in daylight.

When I went to look for projectors in several shops I realised my fears that I wasn?t going to be bale to get a decent one for under a grand that would be good for a home cinema. Review of Epson EMP TW10H

Big tv without the big bucks!

Advantages: small box of tricks, easy to use
Disadvantages: remote control is silly small but does the job.

...I bought my Epson TW10H from OYYY.co.uk about 2 years ago for £469. The website itself is superb, very comprehensive and the aftersales service is second to none. More importantly for me, they're based in Halifax which is quite local for me and it's very difficult to beat them on price! So the projector, what's it like? Well, I would consider this to be an entry level projector. I currently have mine hooked up to my sky+ box, desktop PC, Xbox 360 and Home Theatre DVD player. Connections are adequate although there is no HDMI port on this version. Having said that the picture quality is good. I don't have a screen to project onto, just a blank jasmine white wall and personally I don't think, if you have the wall space, you need to spend an extra £100+ on a special screen. Expense would not have been an issue selling my prize TV pocketed me well over £1000, so I could have gone higher but to be perfectly honest I thought this was the same projector I used at work, which was good enough for me. So my projector arrived and I soon realised that it was not the same one I use at work, but that was fine I still wanted it, I NEEDED it in fact. Setting up the projector is a doddle, more so than setting up a TV, you simply position the projector where you want it and plug the wires in. Review of Epson Stylus Pro 4800

T0715 for Epson printers

Advantages: cheaper to buy 4 but can also buy singly
Disadvantages: you have to look around for the cheapest as prices do vary

...We have a very good Epson DX6000 printer. This printer takes 4 separate inks. This comes in handy when just one colour gets low. I know its low because when I go to do some printing I will get a low ink flashing sign come up and it will then show me how much ink is left and roughly how much copying I can do before it finally runs out. It will also tell me which ink is low. I print off a lot of photographs so it is not just the black ink that runs out but the coloured ones as well. When we first had the printer we did notice that some non epson inks were cheaper and we did think of buying them. We were then informed that if we used these on this printer that was still under guarantee they might refuse to honour the guarantee as we had not used their own brand of ink. No cheating with this Epson Cheetah!

...Printers are marvellous things when they work!We bought an Epson DX4000 a couple of years ago after problems with our HP printer. It was reduced in Tesco and as it is a photo copier and printer we thought it was a bargain but decided to check out the cost of the cartridges before buying. We have used various makes of cartridges over the years for previous printers but had been having problems and always having to clean to get good printing so we were wasting ink. We got sample size cartridges with the printer but bought a Multipack so we were ready when a replacement was needed. The Multipack has 4 cartridges, 1 of each black, yellow, magenta and cyan. The box is blue with a picture of a Cheetah and is in the Cheetah range, there are other ranges like Monkey. Hummingbird and Seahorse makinh it easy to spot the one you want to buy...

EPSON Stylus SX515W - stylish, capable but not perfect

Epson SX515W is an excellent printer.

Advantages: Wireless function is easy, print from anywhere.
Disadvantages: While the black finish is nice, it really is a dust magnet.

...After having Epson printers before, I decided to go for another one. But this time, one with wireless capabilities. In box with the printer is the power cable, USB cable (you need these for the initial set up), a set of cartridges and a small pack of photo paper. Was really easy to set up. We use 3 laptops at home and for the first set up I needed the USB cable. Follow the prompts on the discs and it automatically detects your wireless network. For the 2 additional laptops, I didn't need the USB cable and just had to set them up as "additional computers". It's really easy to install the cartridges. Printer has a helpful little screen to prompt you. Scanning and copying functions are really good.
