Epson's quality printer
Review of Epson Stylus C70 by
ScottyG
Advantages: Print Speed, Print quality
Disadvantages: um....er....nop, there's none
...with a black cartridge at around £18 and cyan/magenta/yellow cartridges at around £10 each. I found the cheapest place to buy was at www.photoglossy.co.uk. For a high quality, detailed illustration black can print 434 pages, Cyan: 143 pages, Magenta: 143 pages, yellow: 143 pages, depending on the actual colours you use.
With the Epson C70 printer you get 1-year repair or replace warranty at Epson Express centres and an optional 3-year cover plus extended warranty.
The Epson C70 printer is a beneficial purchase.
For more information you should visit www.epson.co.uk...

Cool Scanner
Review of Epson Perfection 1640SU by
andycharger
Advantages: Great quality
Disadvantages: Expensive
...After finally commiting my little 600 DPI scanner to the scrapheap, I realised I needed quality scanning at a reasonable cost.
One that could provide me with a decent picture grain and quality.
With modern download speeds, internet pictures can afford to be a bit bigger in Kb size for the sake of extra quality.
So I decided to purchase a `named` scanner with some good features.
The Epson Perfection 1650 seemed as good as any.
Sure you can pick up a budget scanner for £30 but at just over £100, this is by far the best quality scanner on the market for the money.
Looks/build.
------------
It looks like any normal scanner with its grey/tan body and lift up lid but it seems more sturdy than most out there. The lid is more rigid and has a feel of quality during operation.
Installation.
-------------
Installation speed is quite quick. Its...

As close to its name as you could get
Review of Epson Perfection 1640SU by
tomc
Advantages: Excellent software bundle
Disadvantages: none
...The Epson Perfection scanner does everything a scanner should do and does it in a straightforward and efficient way. I can’t see why any non-professional user would have any requirements beyond those the Epson provides. Lets face it, most of us are not too demanding of scanning, the main use being to put photographs online so you can share them with friends and relatives by email or a website. In fact, the Epson is capable of being used for far more demanding applications than that and when I’d got my own scanner I began to see its potential.
In fact I fought against getting my own scanner for ages. After all, nobody minds me using the scanner at work and it seemed good enough going into the open plan office next door for my very low volume scanning. But it was usually annoying. As soon as I began to scan in my...

Good product
Review of Epson drum kit by
brianh_61
Advantages: Realy good quality prints
Disadvantages: Heavy to change when empty
...For 2 months i worked for central independant newspapers as a graphic designer.
Central Independant Newspapers print the Express And Star and lots of other local newspapers in the midlands area.
The only printers in the whole building were epson as i was told these deliver the best possible results and are great value for money. After working there for the two months i realised that they were totally right. If you own a buisness i strongly recomend that you only use epson printers and cartridges. The quality of the print is totaly unmatched by and other printing company. Also the price is unrivald.
Although the drums are heavy to load in and out of the printer you get a lot of prints out of one drum because unlike inkjet printers the ink rolls around in the drum, so when your running low youl still get perfect prints or no prints...

ATI RADEON X800 XL. Nuff said.
Review of Club 3D Radeon X800XL by
china_wolf
Advantages: Cheap and fast and stuff!
Disadvantages: Crap box design. So ugly!
...Just when you thought it would be safe to peek around the door after NVIDIA and ATI were bombarding you with top of the range graphics cards, ATI takes a cheapshot and flings an ATI Radeon X800 XL card into your bollocks. You wouldn't press charges on them either, because this is one fine card.
Now, those of you familiar with the graphics war between ATI and NVIDIA will know that before this card there was the GEFORCE 6800 GT and GEFORCE 6800 Ultra from NVIDIA. and the RADEON X800 Pro and RADEON X850 XT PE from ATI. Those cards are what you call top of the range, the best cards are called the 'flagship' cards. Anyways, the problem with those super high speed cards has always been the same thing. No it's not heat or power requirements! It's the darn price!
'Price?' I hear you mumble to yourself in an attempt to look knowledgeable...

Now there's a laptop you don't see everyday.
Review of Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1640 by
pridham123
Advantages: Extra features, stylish.
Disadvantages: Battery, microphone.
...Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1640
-------------------------------------------
The Amilo A1640 is a cheap, but powerful laptop, ideal for the home, and maybe schools and small offices too, due to it’s wireless capability. I can’t really say much about what you can do with it, that would make it more of a review of Windows XP, but I can tell you about price, speed, battery, memory etc.
We brought this laptop from PC World, at a very inviting price of £699.99, with an all in one printer thrown in at half price. We were moving house and our old computer was on it’s last legs. It was probably made about 10 years ago, it had a 6 GB hard drive and was slower than a calculator. It also made some funny noises. We chose a laptop because it doesn’t take up much space and can easily be put completely away when not in use.
When the idea of a laptop came...

Our Stylish Stylus R
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R265 by
trevorbrock
Advantages: Superb colour printing
Disadvantages: Costly inks and bulky footprint
..., then there was Epson's special offer.! Trade in any inkjet printer that is still under warranty and you can save up to £100 on the cost of a new printer ! I had just a few days to clinch the deal before my warranty expired - who could resist.!?
So THAT is why I bought this one - and paid less for it than a complete set of cartridges for the C86. Even Gordon Brown would reckon that I was prudent, I suggest.
If you are determined to buy one yourself, you too can do an exchange at an Epson Express centre. If you do not have a printer to exchange, then you can buy one of these in a store like PCWorld, for about £70.
2 Why Is This A Good Choice ?
***************************
The specification of the R265 is impressive.
Print Speed :
Take print speed - an important indicator of how good a printer is.
It is reckoned that this Epson can handle 33 sheets of A4...

excelent shaver
Review of Norelco 5885xl by
cocacola
Advantages: excelent at hair removal, shape, case, and battery
Disadvantages: none
...The NORELCO 5855 XL is one of the best electric razors that i have
ever owned, it has an excelent rechargeable battery that doesn't go
dead after a few uses, and it has a meter that lets you know how many
charges it has left. It also remover the hair much better than my
previous razors (braun, remington, panasonic). I have never had a
better razor, or used a better one. The 5855 xl also comes with an
excelent leather travel case that is very nice when you go on a trip
or just overnight....

reliable workhorse
Review of Epson Stylus Color 850 by
voodoo
Advantages: speed colour, pages per inkwell
Disadvantages: price age
...This epson printer is bordering on the windows workgroup highend user market and it shows, with reliable parts and a larger ink tank than most epsons.
the print quality is very good and little banding is in effect on the colour printing, the print quality on coated paper is very good only slightly as good as the epson photo printer.
The print speed on the epson 850 is very good and this beauty just streams pages out almost as fast as a lazer printer.
A good quality printer that is perfect for that little extra work....
