Epson Stylus DX4000
Advantages: Great Quality
Disadvantages: No LCD Screen, No Fax
...Epson Stylus DX4000
Well were can I start with this printer. Its an all round great product, it has many different functions and features which will help any user along the way to making you pictures or images better and processing your paperwork quicker. Whilst using this printer I found that it was very easy to use from the very simple buttons that are on the top of the printer towards the left. All of the buttons are very easy to use and you really couldn't go wrong with it.
The Epson DX4000 offers a complete printing and copying solution for all of the family. Its ideal for nearly everything. Its compatible with all applications and can be used for school projects, web designing, right down to photo printing. Epson Stylus Pro 5000
Advantages: Produces excellent high quality prints, Ideal for Professional Use
Disadvantages: Very expensive
...General Info
-------------------
This is a top of the range inkjet printer.
The EPSON Stylus Pro 5000 is probably the best producer of top quality printer I have come across to date - and I use a lot of printers for work and personal use.
Price
-------
It is one of the expensive printers on the market. At a whopping £1,500 it's not a printer to be brought lightly. I feel that you get a printer that reflects this price tag.
Printing Process
----------------------
Engine Type: Inkjet
Mono/Colour?: Colour
Maximum horizontal resolution (dpi): 1440
Maximum vertical resolution (dpi): 720
Technology
-----------------
It has on board EPSON's latest technology, MicroPiezo? which is responsible for the top quality pictures it is able to produce.
Hardware
---------------
The printer can be...

Epson Stylus Photo R265
Advantages: Cheap-ish, CD/DVD Printing, separate ink carts
Disadvantages: Bulky, slightly brash colours
...The first thing you notice about the Epson Stylus Photo R265 is that it's pretty large. You'd almost think it was a multifunction device, especially given it's height. As such you'll need a fair chunk of desk space to take it. That said, it's attractive enough if a little utilitarian.
* The main features are:
* 6 ink carts
* CD/DVD Printing
* Direct photo printing via PictBridge/USB
* Claria Long life inks
* Borderless printing
* 5760x1440 dpi resolution
As you can see, apart from the CD/DVD feature, it's a pretty vanilla device. No LCD screen and no slots for media cards so you can't do much without having your PC connected.
My first impressions when printing were good. I printed photos on A4 as single images and 4 to a page and found them bright, punchy and well balanced. The shadow detail seemed fine and skin tones...

Epson Stylus Photo R220
Advantages: Photo Quality is Excellent, Prints on variety of media, Prints CD's and DVD's, Good Software bundle with sleek design
Disadvantages: Text print not fantastic, Cannot print direct from digital cameras, camcorders or memory cards. No LCD Display
...a run for their money.
After wandering aimlessly around the shop for some 20 minutes or more my eyes finally settled on the Epson Stylus Photo R220. With its sleek design and fantastic silver/grey finish I fell in love with it immediately. I stood there for a while, picturing it on my desk at home and decided that it was the perfect accompaniment to my other gadgets, and a vast improvement on my old, white coloured printer.
The main selling point for me was that the Epson Stylus Photo R220 can print on nearly any type of media you can imagine, in particular CD's and DVD's. I fancy myself as a bit of a singer and have recorded a few CD's in the past, and so I thought it would be ideal if I was able to print CD covers directly onto the discs to make a professional looking CD.
After weighing up the pros and cons I decided to buy the R...

Epson Stylus Photo RX700
Advantages: Great Quality and fast Printing
Disadvantages: None i can think of.
...Epson Stylus RX700
Well this is my dad's printer and I use it quite often so thought I would write a review about it. The printer is very good and I have never had any problems with it the whole time that I have been using it. The printer is very good quality because it was actually made for printing photos so you would expect the highest of qualities.
The Epson Stylus Photo RX700 offers a great range of facilities and things that you can use it for. Everything that I have ever wanted to do whilst using my dads computer I have been able to use the printer with it. It's so easy to use. It can be used for pretty much anything and compatible with all applications so it can be used for school projects, web designing, and right down to photo printing. It can be used connected to your computer or you could use it as a standalone...

Epson Stylus DX4050
Advantages: Easy to use, cheap and good quality printing
Disadvantages: Does use quite a lot of ink whilst printing
...I have always gone for the Epson printers for some unknown reason and when my latest printer, an Epson Stylus PHOTO RX425 started playing up i thought it about time i upgraded, also the playing up of the printer was causing a problem with the childrens homework so needed to be sorted ASAP.
So off i went to my local PC World on the hunt for a bargin, not that you ever get any of those in PC World!! But i was in luck there was an offer on the Epson Stylus DX4050 at only £39.99 for an all in one printer. I was chuffed as i'd expected to be spending around £70 - £80 for a new one. Apparently this model is the European version of the Epson Stylus DX4000 which is the UK model, however you can buy the European model cheaper - typical that is for UK.
So i marched off down to the check-out as quick as possible without trying to attract any...

Epson Stylus DX4200
Advantages: Great Print Quality
Disadvantages: None i can think of.
...Epson Stylus DX4200
After having my Epson Stylus DX4000 for a few months I needed a change and decided to upgrade to the next model in the series. As with the other printer it is an all-round great product and has many different features that you are able to use. I found that the printer has many qualities that are same as the DX4000 which include ease of use because it is very easy to use and the printing quality, although it is slightly better than the previous model.
The Epson DX4200 offers a complete printing and copying solution for all of the family. It's ideal for nearly everything. It's compatible with all applications and can be used for school projects, web designing, and right down to photo printing. Epson Stylus 4000
Advantages: Fairly cheap
Disadvantages: ink
...Picked up this all in one printer at Tesco's fro about £49 ,came with everything needed in the box, USB cable ink and installation cd.
So after getting it home hooked it all up except USB cable and inserted installation cd in the drive.
Alls seemed well, until I noticed that it had installed for German.
So a look at the manual, having a pc running Vista I had to download software from Epson's website to get everything up and running.
Scanning is ok with options for home quality or professional quality, this takes longer.
Prints at 23 ppm black and 12 ppm colour,print quality good,easy to use the scan function reproduction quality on this function very good.
Scan quality also fairly good.
A quibble here would be inability to send scanned documents to word
, for editing formats available being PDF ,jpeg and a couple...

Epson Stylus Photo R360
Advantages: Perfect print quality
Disadvantages: none
...cartridges. They cost 6.99 each off of Epson's website but you will save by using Froogle and finding a multi-pack. The inks last for quite a few photos also. I have not had to replace yet. It takes 6 cartridges unlike most printers that take 4. This greatly improves quality but can result in higher costs?
This printer can print up to A4 size. It can do borderless photos at A4 also which is neat. You have the ability to connect your camera right to it instead of going through your computers fussy software. That saves lots of stress trust me- it's great! It supports pretty much any memory card you can throw at it.
I use it on windows however it is Windows AND Mac compatible. I just plugged it in, installed drivers and it worked simply. The installation was very, very easy. The manual also provides very good instructions for me to install. I...

Epson Stylus DX5000 - It's not quite hate
Advantages: it looks alright, and the buttons are reasonably straightforward
Disadvantages: uneconomical ink cartridges, poor or liney prints too common
...tasks such as removing clogged paper or changing a cartridge are as simple as you would hope and expect.
The printer is not able to turn itself on when it receives a print command. It must be turned on manually, else it thinks there is some kind of error. Not a huge problem, but a little inconvenient at times.
There is a large range for scanning quality, which goes from 50 up to 9600dpi. I have the usual colour options. It has a few other features which may or may not be useful, but I have never bothered to work out or use. The scanned images seem pretty good. As with many other scanners it may alter a few tones, especially orange. But it?s nothing too serious.
Personally I have vowed never to buy an Espon again. I even sent Epson some constructive feedback on why I disliked this product so much. I miss my old HP printer. It was many...
