Advantages: Price, Quality, ease of use, gives you more control over pictures
Disadvantages: If just just want to print normal photos, still cheaper to use a photo shop

...decent quality printing paper, because if you use bog standard paper, however good the printer is, you will not get the best end result. I wanted quality, so got some proper photo quality printing paper, and the photos are outstanding! I am not totally sure about the economy of using the product, as prices at photo shops have been geting better, meaning uunless there is a reduced price in the ink and photo paper, it will always be a bit more expensive to have your own photo printer, but in my opinion it opens the doors for a lot of opportunities, you have an open canvas, you dont only have to use the photo that you have taken as "a photo", but you can (using a photoshop style program) get a lot more out of one photo than if you took it to a photo shop! Advantages: STYLISH,WELL ENGINEERED, GOOD QUALITY PRINTING AND COPYING.
Disadvantages: I HAVE FOUND NONE IN ALMOST 4 YEARS!!

...THE EPSON STYLUS CX6600 MULTI-FUNCTION PRINTER. My last review was of the Epson Stylus R265. In that review I also mentioned that I had one for about four years that had been trouble free. THIS IS THE ONE!!. I am delighted that I purchased this model for my scanning, faxing, photographic printing requirements. Regarding the design, there are no square corners! It has a nicely rounded and an asthetically pleasing. I purchased this model for the princely sum of £99.99. I honestly think this printer will outlive me! For a multi-printer it has everything except that I have to put the paper in! LOL! Well I recommend this one to anyone that needs this kind of office or home printer with its good average printing speed (see specifications). The print quality is always good. The ink usage is good. Epson Stylus CX6600 Printer/Scanner/Copier

Advantages: Excellent quality, quick print speeds, great ink economy.
Disadvantages: Its a bit on the big side, but it is does everything you need.

Very Impresses with my Epson Stylus CX6600

Advantages: Cost Effective to Run and Very Versatile
Disadvantages: Has a limited life-span

...I bought mine 2 years ago (I didnt realise it had been so long!) and it has just ceased to work saying that some of the parts inside it are at the end of their service life. I only paid £120 for this all in one machine and I have used it for business purposes - so it has done a LOT of printing. It has been left on for at least 20 hours+ per day and until just now it has been faultless. It gives good print, quality pictures and has a fairly good print speed. The cartridges I used were the re-manufactured type and work out at less than £3.50 each (I used to have a Lexmark printer before this one and the cartridges for that were incredibly expensive). I love the Epson Stylus, it is easy to use and since it is so cheap to buy I am looking out for another one now, rather than paying a Tech or a Shop to service it. I think it is...

...The Epson Stylus CX3200 is a good peripheral to have wether in the house or a small office, the CX3200 biggest advantage is that Print, Scan and Photocopy. The printer has a USB connection It is very easy to set up with the software that is provided with it, the software that it comes with is of a decent quality. Epson Photo R285 printer

Advantages: excellent all round while working
Disadvantages: Subject to ink problems but Ok with insurance

...The Epson Sylus Photo R285 is an excellent printer while it is working. In 12 months I have had two of these printers and both have have had the same fault, that being the sudden inability to recognise full ink cartridges and mule like refusing to budge in any direction.This problem occurs about 2-3 months into its use and seems to be brought on by changing one cartridge. Technical support recognise that there is a fault with apparently no remedy. Fortunately i took out a 3 year guarantee with this and PC World have change the printer. An excellent printer but I would recommend any purchaser to take out an insurance. I am going back for a third but I think this might be the last if the fault occurs again!...

Epson Stylus CX3200

...I've had my CX3200 for about 2 years now and I have to say its a superb package. The item cost me 100GBP with 2 spare cartridges from a local computer dealership and its never let me down in two years of continuous use. The CX3200 is a printer, scanner and colour and black and white copier all in one. You might be forgiven for thinking its the jack of all trades and the master of none, but this isnt the case. The CX3200 manages a healthy 14 pages per minute in black and white and 10 pages per minute in colour - which is quite quick for an inkjet printer. Depending on the quality of paper used the unit is capable of up to 5760x720 DPI using performance enhancement software which is excellent. The unit also allows for PC-free copying of up to 10 pages per minute, and handy boon if you cant be bothered to turn on your PC to run...

...INTRO This has been out for quite a while now although I remember buying this from Comet for £159.99 a few years back (Should be much cheaper now) . Having used an HP Deskjet 840C and a separate scanner, I wanted a multifunctional printer to do both. I didn't want to have to spend a fortune on ink and waste ink whenever I ran out of a certain colour, so got the Epson Stylus CX6400, which has individual colour cartridges. SETTING UP Setting up the printer was easy. I had to attach the control panel, the paper support, the feeder guard, and the USB cable. Interestingly, the USB plugs into the CX6400 on the inside. You have to open the part where you would normally find the ink cartridges to get to it but this means that it's less likely to be yanked out by mistake.
