T0715 for Epson printers

Advantages: cheaper to buy 4 but can also buy singly
Disadvantages: you have to look around for the cheapest as prices do vary

...We have a very good Epson DX6000 printer. This printer takes 4 separate inks. This comes in handy when just one colour gets low. I know its low because when I go to do some printing I will get a low ink flashing sign come up and it will then show me how much ink is left and roughly how much copying I can do before it finally runs out. It will also tell me which ink is low. I print off a lot of photographs so it is not just the black ink that runs out but the coloured ones as well. When we first had the printer we did notice that some non epson inks were cheaper and we did think of buying them. We were then informed that if we used these on this printer that was still under guarantee they might refuse to honour the guarantee as we had not used their own brand of ink. No cheating with this Epson Cheetah!

Advantages: Clear colours
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

I make cards for a hobby and print a lot of sheets for decoupage on Photo paper plus photographs for Scrapbooking which is another hobby, our printer is in use nearly everyday and whether I use ordinary paper, card or photo paper the results have always been excellent. Quote from the Epson website "Epson DURABrite Ultra ink gives simply perfect prints, whatever you're printing. Each ink particle is coated in resin, making it water-, smudge- and fade-resistant." I have to agree that newly printed photos have never smudged and so far nothing has faded. I am very pleased with the result and we get a lot of pages printed before replacing, unfortunately I can't say how many as it varies with what I'm printing. Genuine Epson Ink Black T0481 better or not

Advantages: great photo quality & long print run

...Usually I get through printers like hoovers, every 3 months or so but I must say I have been using an Epson R series printer for the last 4 years and would be looking to replace with another epsom. The quality of print is in many respects down to the printer but if you put cheap ink into the printer then it doesn't matter how great your printer is the result will be poor especially for photo quality. I use both genuine epson ink including the T0481, plus cheaper alternatives and the end result varies tremendously. I have found the depth & vividness of the genuine T0481 not only superior to cheaper immitations but more so the effect it has on different types of media. Review of Epson Stylus Pro 4800

Makes My Stylus, Stylish!

Advantages: last long, can be bought from many electrical shops, uses Durabrite ultra Ink

...We just recently bought a new Epson stylus DX7400 printer as our old one stopped printing for some reason. Our new printer takes the T series Epson ink. To make everything a bit easier we just bought a T0715 multi pack ink package which comes with four ink cartridges. The T0715 can also be used with other Epson stylus models including the DX4450, DX4000, DX9400F, DX4050 etc. The Epson T0715 will come with four colour ink cartridges. This includes the T0711 which is the black ink, T0712 which is the cyan colour, T0713 which is the magenta colour and T0714 which is the yellow colour. The Epson T0715 multi pack is rather expensive as we bought it for £29.99 in PC world, I guess its not that expensive if you divide that by four, as it will work out to be around £7.50 per cartridge, which I think is not too bad considering the quality...

...I own the Epsom DX 5050 printer which uses these ink cartridges and have been using this product for about 14 months. Firstly these multipacks are easy to spot on-line or in a shop because Epsom have used animals on the front of the packaging. This means that you do not have to read every pack in the store to find the cartridges you want, you just need to look for the picture of the big cat. This is particularly useful when you can't remember the actual numbers of the cartridges (and we have all done that!) or if reading is difficult for you. Too many IT manufacturers assume that all computer literate people are word literate too. well done Epson. The multi pack consists of one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow ink cartridge.
