W580i sony ericsson walkman phone
Advantages: good for music and entertainment in general. Pedometer feature and shake feature v good
Disadvantages: pricey and buttons can be annoying at first
...I had never had a sony ericsson before and some how i got the impression that they would have been complicated to use. How wrong I was!! Being strictly a nokia buyer in the past i had felt a little aprehensive about this purchase. I got the phone for around 150 pounds in Argos which was a special deal on pay as you talk vodafone.
I was surprised at the slim body of the phone as sony ericssons in the past have been chunky. It fits very nice in the hand and looks very smart .
The phone came in a really smart little red box like a cube with software for the computer,a cable, instructions, headphones and charger. I couldn't wait to use my new purchase so i plugged it in for charge and turnt it on and it already had half a battery which was a very nice thing if you want your new phone straight away.
You have to get used to...

sony ericsson W995 Walkman top of the pops
Advantages: WiFi, navigation device, massive storage, top of the range camera at 8.1mp.
Disadvantages: small buttons, drifts in and out of internet and wap, slide up front so gets scratched easy
...I have had this Sony for about 4 weeks and I must say its an improvement on my last model (w850i) the WiFi option allow me to connect at home and watch BBC iplayer which is located as a fuction on the menu. You download from iplayer and store on the phons 8GB memeroy card which is very handy as it will save you money on any internet charges by your network provider. One slight downside is I find the buttons a bit small and do have trouble sending text messages, that aside the fictional side of the phone is good and an improvement on my previous model (w850i). The big features on this phone are the walkman and the 8.1 mega pixel camera. The camera wow!! Has great focus and superb quality but has not change any real features since my w850I. The walkman become a real replacement for any ipod as the 8GB card gives a huge amount of storage...

Sony Ericsson W350i Walkman
Advantages: Stylish, great sound, cheap, easy to use
Disadvantages: no video, flash and only 1 . 3 mp camera
...I think this is one of the best looking Sony Ericssons to date. Very light weight (70g), stylish, especially if you have one in "ice blue" or "white", some networks have a limited choice of colours so look around (I paid extra to own it in white and then paid 10 pounds more to get it unlocked). It may not be the phone for a tech wiz, who would probably prefer w810i but is a great little accessory for people who like stylish, great music and easy to use products.
Overview:
*Great speakerphone, very, very loud
* Sound Quality is fantastic. The phone offers Mega Bass feature which truly brings your music to life
* Built in memory is pretty low but you can get an m2 4G card for 10 pounds from Amazon, just make sure that it is not over 4 gb, as its the capacity for this model.
* 1.3 mp camera with no flash or video recording. (I...

Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Mobile Phone
Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, nice features!
Disadvantages: Average camera, reported technical issues!
...Having recently been eligible for a free phone upgrade through my network provider, I opted for the Sony Ericsson W910i walkman mobile phone. I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. My tariff is reasonably low, so I wasn't eligible for a top of the range model without having to pay something towards it, so the W910i seemed the better choice of an average range of free phones I was offered.
For pure looks, the W910i is a joy to look at, and in my opinion is up there with the best of them. The W910i is a slide phone, and it comes in a super-slim, sleek black design, with a smooth, smart metal outer-frame. When closed, the phone displays a nice brushed aluminium circular navigation panel, which is easy to use, and a vast improvement to the joystick control on my...

WALKMAN - OUTSTANDING!
Advantages: FANTASTIC MP3 PLAYER
Disadvantages: Some may have difficulties!
...The Sony Erricson Walkman W810i phone is amazing. Before owning this I had the rubbish Motorola L6, and upgrading so much was amazing. I had so much more to do on my phone now. You may see alot of people with it, that might show that it is so good. I bought my W810i from Carphone Warehouse back in January 2007, at £140, and it is still working perfectly with no faults.
This phone has some great features, which most phones fail to achieve. The high quality screen shows excellent photographs and videos, and puts other phones to shame. Even the stop watch and countdown timer which are normally useless features on other phones. On this phone, they are good fun to use. Clear picture and great quality sound, unlike my previous phone. The camera is 2.0 Megapixels, which is very good for a mobile phone. I think 2.0 Megapixels is great for me...

Sony Ericsson W850i Walkman
Advantages: Will handle anything you throw at it brilliantly
Disadvantages: Being picky, it doesn't disconnect a call when you slide the phone down!
...This is a real tour de force of a mobile phone. It will handle almost any file you throw at it with ease and performs admirably.
I'm a 'convergence' kind of person where I want all things in one 1 and I certainly done well in selecting this phone. The MP3 Walkman playback is excellent and the built in software is a doddle to navigate between tracks. Photo's are handled by the 2MP camera which is good enough for 'on the spot' snaps when a dedicated camera isn\'t required. It will also handle some brilliant applications such as Opera Mini for web browsing and Google Mail so you can check your mail on the go. Opera Mini especially, is very handy as it is much quicker than your standard web brower and the pages are displayed in an 'easy to read' format.
The phone can be easily personalised with your own photos as it will link up to...

The W810i Walkman Phone
Advantages: Great phone, looks good, great features.
Disadvantages: n/a
...*** Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman Phone ***
After about a year of owning a Sony Ericsson K750i phone I decided it was time for a change and after an evening spent on the net looking up phones I finally decided on the Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman phone in White. My initial reasons being that it was Sony Ericsson and it was a walkman phone so I would be able to store more songs on and use the walkman at work instead of taking my mp3 player in. So I ordered my phone on O2 pay as you go for £149 out of the Littlewoods catalogue. Three long days later my new phone arrived.
After inserting the sim and battery I turned the phone on and it started up. The start up was and still is reasonably quick. Upon switching the phone on you are given the choice of Start Phone or Walkman Mode. Start phone mode enables you to use the phone normally as...

Sony Erricson W995-pocket multemedia just got better
Advantages: 8.1 megapixel camera, 8GB memory space, nice keypad; buttons are easy to press
Disadvantages: takes a while to turn on, slide starts to feel slightly loose
...The Sony Erricson W995 is a widely publicised phone- Yes, but is it really cut out for all this pro-media it has received- Yes. For starters, I received my phone in the unique red colour, which is not only unique to other mobiles out there, but is a classy tone of red, and I don't perceive as tacky, like the convential bright pink phones designed to suit female tastes etc.
Turning the phone on, everything was pretty much set up for the user. The only things neccesary were entering contacts and putting on music, pictures etc if desired. With an incredibly large memory space of 8GB, it equals the music memory space of your ipod nano, traditionally storing around 4,000 songs.
The phone itself has short cut buttons on the side, to access the 8.1 mega pixel camera and then one to access the walkman. There are also shortcut...

The Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone
Advantages: All the music, connectivity, ease of use you could ever want in one tiny package!
Disadvantages: Cost, but free with contract.
...The K750i was a super little phone, so easy to use, How could they possibly improve it! Well they have in the form of the W810i, known as the Walkman phone, there's now no need to be carrying your mp3 player around aswell, this phone has a massive memory (the Memory card is supplied) just drag and drop your faveourite tunes onto it and you're away. Also the radio has great reception and is easy to program.
Software comes with it as does the usb cable. I can't find any fault with it at all, messaging's simple, the 2mp camera produces great pics, the screen is easy to see even in sunlight. They have replaced the joystick, which some people found awkward on the K750i, with directional buttons, and as well as the usual smart key to program in your most used menu selections, it has a walkman button seperate.
I have this phone...
