Review of Samsung ES55

The Town of Es Caná in Ibiza

Advantages: Hot, relaxing, sunny, clear water, lots to do
Disadvantages: Can't think of any

...Es Caná is a family resort on the East side of the island of Ibiza. It is about 30 minutes drive from the airport which is located in the South of the island near to the Capital of Ibiza Town. Es Caná has a beautiful crescent beach where there are no stones or pebbles, just lovely soft sand. The water is very clear and you can walk out quite far before it becomes too deep. There is a small harbour for fishing boats and a ferry which takes tourists to Ibiza Town, Santa Eulalia or even the nearby smaller island of Formentera. Es Caná is very popular and there are a good amount of hotels and apartments to choose from. When I went this summer I stayed at the Hotel Marina Panorama which is opposite the harbour. This hotel is a Thomson Gold Hotel which means that they do not except anyone under the age of 16. There are many restaurants...

Review of Ibiza (Spain)

Hotel Caribe, Es Cana, Ibiza

Advantages: Lots to do, Clean, Nice food
Disadvantages: Higher prices now!

...a bloke who was lying on a bed of nails and walking on glass one night which my younger children didnt like. The animation team were good during the day and organised football, shooting and darts games amongst other things. The bar prices were reasonable, would be a good AI hotel. Food was very nice, also was hot! although it did have the usual chips and nuggets, it also had fish, meat dishes and plenty of salads and veggies changed nightly. The desserts were gorgeous and the breakfasts were very good too. I have an awkward teenage eater and he found plenty fo things to eat. Only one grumble at breakfast, not enough yogurts!!!! The hotel itself is right in the middle of the resort of Es Cana and there was a fair with rides and trampolines for the kids and the beach was just a short walk away. Es Cana is a lovely place. ...to the boredom. Entertainment here was a proper let down! Overall this was a poor holiday especially with the amount of money Thomson charge for coming to this property, Staff are ignorant and rude and also the general Breezes holiday experience was appauling, i will never return to a Breezes hotel again or one of their partners after this experience. As i have said this was my third time to the Dominican republic and it has put me off completely, however i did enjoy my two other holidays here at the Occidental Allegro Punta cana (Carribbean village) Bavaro, and also the Clubhotel Riu Bachata (Puerto Plata/bahia De Maimon). In fact the main idea was to have a first hand experience of Samsung range of cameras and I thought it prudent to try the cheapest possible available in Samsung array of cameras. Well the experience is very close to disaster. Design: Probably its only positive point is its price, that probably is about all. If you look at the design it does look cheap, drab and dumb to say the least. In fact the ES55 looks just that better with its very quaggy aluminium casing, this one comes with a forlorn drab plastic wrapping which probably will make the least fashionables talk about fashion. Snap Happy Samsung!

Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!

...I've been using the Barracuda 320GB Hard Drive for some months now, I bought it for the capacity, speed and new features aswell as many past experiences with seagate drives that have always been good, they may not come top in benchmark tests but there usually in the top five and are one of the most quiet. As with most drives, after formatting you lose some space, the 320GB ended up being about 298GB, but no complaints here 298 gigs is more space than I'll ever use. The "ES" models are the ones to buy if you want reliability there designed for 24/7 operation mainly used in businesses, the Barracuda ES monitors temperatures and shuffles I/O requests to allow the drive to cool if it gets too hot. ...Ok the Casio FX 85 ES is simply put the best calculator available on the market that can be used in exams. Casio have recently been working with the Joint Examination board to ensure it's new "student" calculators do not break the rules-so no worries there students! So this natural display-what is it? Basically it allows you to type on the screen as if you were writing it in your book, for example squares roots are real on there and you can do fractions properly. I find it incredibly easy to use and it has gained me an A so far in my A-levels (i'm not that clever honest). Personally i wouldn't read the instructions-merely use them for reference and work everything out on your own-it's easy enough. ...The sony VPL-ES2 is a great projector at a bargain price. I wil admit that I think it would struggle with large presentations with only having a 1500 lumen lamp. But for home use and for small scale office presentations this projector is just what you need. I bought this projector for watching films at home after selling my previous projector due to it being far too noisy. This projector is very different when it is on the sound from it is barely noticeable. If you've purchased a projector before then you'll know that the most important thing is the bulb life. Because when the bulb goes they can easily cost anywhere upwards from £300-£400. It is often a more economically viable option just to replace the projector.
