Which is approximately 3 more shots of espresso. SO it's approximately 35 shots of espresso for the money. But think of it like this. In starbucks, an espresso shot is £1.40. Times that by 35, and see the total. The total is actually £49. WOuld you rather pay les than a tenth...

Short dark delight

Advantages: Instant, no messy machines
Disadvantages: Not to be drunk near bed time

...I stumbled upon this product purely by accident while looking for espresso coffee beans or ground to make a delicious drink that I had on an evening partaking of food and drink at an Italian restaurant in a local hotel. I am not a coffee connoisseur, in fact I hardly ever have anymore than 2 cups a day. I do however love my alcoholic coffee fixes and usually tend to stick to Irish or Gaelic Coffee, not so anymore, reason will evolve later. Rich, Dark Roasted, Value-for-money Coffee

Advantages: Rich dark-roasted flavour
Disadvantages: Not suitable for cafetieres (too fine)

...Lavazza Caffe Espresso is a premium coffee which makes a strong brew with good crema (froth), and should ideally be used in an espresso machine or stove-top pot. It is not suitable for cafetieres as it is too finely ground. As the label suggests it is made from 100% Arabica beans. Arabica is acknowledged to be the oldest cultivated coffee variety. As such, you will not find the chocolatey taste of the Mocha Sanani bean in this coffee, it tastes purer. Lavazza Caffe Espresso has been roasted darker than usual which makes it ideal for after-dinner coffee, but it is perfectly suitable for making morning coffees such as Cappuccino and Latte, especially for those who prefer a richer cup. This coffee is very reasonably priced for the quality and is available widely within the UK. I thouroughly recommend it....

Getting steamed up about good coffee!

Advantages: A very eye-catching, modern design producing great coffee
Disadvantages: Annoying technical problems

...When the little coffee maker my husband had had for many years finally died on us, we experienced unexpected difficulties in finding a suitable replacement. One machine, bought at the local supermarket, was so badly put together that the panel containing the controls was coming off before we even got to use it. Having returned this, we then proceeded to buy another from our local Woolworth's, their own brand. Well, that one was cheap... Cheap in price and unfortunately quality and the jug, made of very thin glass, smashed the first time we washed it. After this run of bad luck, when our new Hinari machine arrived (mail order), we were delighted when we took it out of the box. It looked great! The bitterness of some coffees makes this a drawback. Take the Italian coffee brands like Lavazza and Segafredo, well known in the UK along with their many varieties; Segafredo Moka, Lavazza Rossa, Crema e' Gusto, Oro, Espresso, etc. Now ask Italians what the best coffee is... not the one they drink, or the best value, but the best available... I would put a small fortune on the reply being Illy. If you read the garb, Illy is not a blend, the bad or poorly roasted bits are sifted out, and you simply have one...

Fabulous aroma and aroma if you like it strong and very dak

...I am a real fan of Espresso Coffee which I prefer to drink black and if I buy a coffee when I am out I always have Double Espresso, so, I guess you would say that I like it strong. I bought myself an Espresso machine so that I could enjoy the same treat at home, at a fraction of the cost. (Plus the associated insomnia, of course!) There is nothing like the aroma you get when you first open a fresh tin of this gorgeously aromatic Italian coffee. A friend had recommended illy espresso caffe machinato for its taste and smell. It is also relatively cheap compared with similar products. The tin of ground coffee I bought cost me £2.75 for 125 grams. The art of Italian Espresso

Advantages: Easy to use and maintain. Create delicious coffee and size is very convenient.
Disadvantages: Only make frothed milk for about 2-3 coffees

...I have been given this coffee maker for Christmas and I was delightfuly surprised by its look and functionality. The machine looks fabulous and very stylish as it is black and silver with curvy edges which gives it a smooth feel when you work with it.
