Review of Toshiba TDP ET20

Cinema in my courtyard

Advantages: HDTV ready and compatible,DVD and 5,1 Audio system functions, Image quality
Disadvantages: The price is high but worth every penny; Took 1000 words to review :)

...►►► Why should I buy a DLP projector and especialy Toshiba TDP ET20 There comes a time when your friend are just multiplying and the bedroom or the living room is just too small to ensure a comfortable view at your 19/21 inch monitors and so on.What can be done?! This product enters in action; what could be nicer than being in the courtyard with your large number of friends and watching a movie or a HDTV video while the barbecue is almost ready just 5 meters away ☺. If it rains there's still hope, just take the projector into the living room but just make sure is a double one:). So, do you or do you not need a projector now ?! Why should I buy Toshiba TDP ET20, because is a 3 in 1 musketeer, a DVD player, an audio system and an....I forgot ....a yes a DLP projector. The functions are great the design is...

"PHONE HOME!"

Advantages: Spielbergs loveable alien
Disadvantages: He's not real!

...find that the film is generally suitable for children to view by themselves anyway. Produced by Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy. This was Kathleen's first ever production and whilst Steven was already a big movie maker in his own right by this film, he expresses that ET is his most treasured all time movie. Having made "Close Encounters of the third kind" and "Jaws" Spielberg was certainly no stranger to robotics and science fiction. He beautifully combined outer space with a family life and created a film that people always want to talk about, and strangely, relate to! The DVD I have is one of the 20th Anniversary releases with remastered scenes and cast interviews. The film was originally released in 1982 and this DVD released in 2002. Now it's almost 24 years old! There is another 20th Anniversary DVD set that features 3 discs...

Review of ET - The Extra-Terrestrial (Special Edition) (DVD)

Still magically out of this world...

Advantages: Magical, moving fantasy film for the whole family, outstanding performances and a superfluous score
Disadvantages: Maybe some of the FX are still a little old fashioned, and kids might not get some of the eighties-isms

...No matter how much BT would like you to think of ET as their personal mascot, stealing the little guy as their own and turning John Williams' miraculous score into a telecommunications jingle, it hasn't worked. E.T : The Extra-Terrestrial is a movie which can stand up to more than just a few cheap phone adverts, and indeed, through the years it has stood up to everything from plastic frisbees to children's underwear. And now, 20 years on, ET comes back to the big screen where he belongs.... The little pink guy returns, thank God, not in a sequel (Steven Spielberg has more sense than that) but in the form of a "Special Edition", a craze started by George Lucas in 1997 with his re-releases of the Star Wars trilogy.
