...and Disneyland Paris. It is also in walking distance of Montmartre and Le Galleries Lafayette. I felt that our hotel was in a prime location making it easy for us to get around the city. Paris itself is a very noisy city; being the capital of France this should be expected. There is always a lot of noise around including during the evenings and at night time. The fact that our hotel was situated in such an area did not make it any better; this was clearly visible with our balcony doors open. However, the hotel offers soundproofed rooms, as standard to combat this noise, of which I will go into more detail later. Overall for the location I would give it a 9/10, we never struggled to find anything that we were looking for, apart from the hotel itself in the first instance. ...This is another hotel from Accor, the founders of Ibis. However i am reviewing the Etap hotel situated on the outskirts of Paris, within an area known as Kremlin Bicetre. In this area, you have the choice between an Ibis hotel, a Novotel and the Etap, as well as various other smaller establishments, of which the Etap is by far the least expensive. The Etap Hotel Paris Porte D'Italie is split into two buildings; Ouest (west) and Est (east). Whereas the western hotel has 144 rooms, the eastern has 171. However both offer the same value for money. But please remember these are low budget, no frills hotels so don't expect to be living in the lap of luxury! The French Etaps are cheaper than those in the UK and will only set you back 48 Euros (around £33) per room per night. But bear in mind there is a 3 Euro suppliment for the second...

Great little find in Paris- Hotel France Albion

Advantages: Fantastic location and large sized room!

...Fresh off the plane from paris i thought I'd share my thoughts on this hotel in Paris where my best friend and I spent a long weekend. We chose the hotel for its location- close to shopping district and centre of Paris and we werent disappointed there. We were feeling confident about the hotel as we had had good communication with them before we left- we had changed dates and asked to leave our luggage in the hotel as we were arriving early. We were not disappointed when we arrived- the outside of the hotel was a freshly painted blue. of all the buildings in the street it was by far the best cared for giving a very good impression. inside, the staff could not have been more friendly and willing to help. we spoke in French to them but I did hear them speaking English with other guests. the desk is manned 24/7 which was a relief...

...The Hotel The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style. The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre. I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming. The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest...

Etap Hotel Strasbourg is a great place to stay!

Advantages: cheap, clean, comfortable, convenient location, friendly staff
Disadvantages: nothing really, unless you count slightly odd decor

..., I was put into a more spacious room which had a 4th bed (a single). I don't think much of the interior design (I wouldn't have put white, blue, purple and orange together) but the room was clean and comfortable which is what matters. It was also air conditioned (thankfully since it was summer) and had a nice little bathroom. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and there's a secure room where you can put your luggage for ?2 if you need somewhere to leave it before you check in or after you check out. Breakfast is ?5 a day but I never had it myself so I couldn't tell you what it was like. There was also a TV in the room, though I didn't actually watch it. The Etap Hotel in Strasbourg is part of the Etap chain, and I was so impressed with it that when I went to Paris a few months later, I booked a room in one...

...I recently spent three nights in Paris and booked the hotel through the Euro star website along with my train ticket. In total the hotel cost me around £150 for the three nights for a double room. When I got there I asked if we could change to a twin room and we paid 45 Euros more to do this for the three nights, so the total I paid was around £195. I think this is a very reasonable price for a hotel in Paris, especially because this one was lovely. Firstly, it is located within the Marais area of Paris, which is very nearby the Picasso museum. It is a walk able distance down to the river and to the Louvre etc, however there is a metro station minutes away; Republic. From Republic you can catch the majority of the different metro lines, or you can catch it to a station which will allow you to connect to the line you need. The hotel...

...I have just come back from Paris having spent 2 nights at the France Louvre. This is my review.... Location The best part of staying at the France Louvre was the location, right in the centre of Paris with great transport links. Metro station 'Chatelet- Les Halles' is only a 5-min walk away and seems to be a main station of Paris. The location of this Hotel is particularly useful if you are travelling on Eurostar as Chatelet station is only one stop away from the Gard Du Nord Eurostar terminal (Line B - Blue line). Also if you are visiting Stade De France this is only two stops away on the same line. After a game at the Stade De France you can be back to the hotel within 15 minutes providing you don't get caught up in queues!! This hotel is also a couple of minutes away from the Seine and around 10 minutes walk to the Louvre...

...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time...
