..., and I do not have time to go to post office. so I said to Brown Thomas , I have to use UPS to pick up this bag at my place as I do not have time to do this and the cost of the shipping was 40 euro. Floor Manager for Handbags in Brown Thomas said I can not use UPS. so I made complaint to higher people who is customer service manager in Brown Thomas. She said if we think this bag is faulty after we checked this bag, we will refund UPS shipping cost 40 euro, and I returned this bag by UPS and paid 40 euro to UPS when they picked up. then after 2 weeks, they sent me a cheque of 1045 euro which is only for the bag cost. I called Brown Thomas , and spoke to Floor Manager & customer service manager in Brown Thomas both lady. but, they said this is not faluty goods, so we do not refund UPS return shipping cost of 40 euro. Today, during lunch time I got shopping in a supermarket near to my office. It isn't one of the cheapest supermarket of Milan, but prices before holidays were quite reasonable… For example, a manufactured ready to eat salad was around 0,98 Euros for the cheapest type, up to 1,54 Euros for the most expensive one, while today the cheapest type was around 1,45 Euros, and the most expensive type was around... ...I stayed in this hotel several times in 2004/5 and found it to be an excellent base for business. (I was working in a nearby office). It is also very well placed for transport - as follows:- Taxis always outside, airport about 25 Euros (20 minutes), city centre about 10 Euros (5 minutes), Sants station 200 metres walk - this has an easy ticket machine system to buy tickets for the airport - about 10 Euros, and city centre on the underground train, about 5 Euros. It's possible to walk to the tourist centre, (Place de Catalunya) but this takes around 30 mins and needs careful scrutiny of a map to avoid taking the wrong turning at one of the many intersections. Hotel is smart and well furnished in the modern Barcelona minimalist style. Reception staff speak good English and are very helpful. Bedroom is comfortable and usually quiet... Read review

Advantages: Well located 3 Star budget hotel. Fairly cheap by Dublin standards.

...The Mespil Hotel is located on the Royal Canal on Mespil Road in Ballsbridge, only about 15 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street (the two main shopping areas of the city) and about 20 minutes from O'Connell Street and the Temple Bar area. In a previous incarnation the Mespil was a large office block that housed the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. The transformation to a hotel took place in the early 1990's, and has been achieved successfully. (I was dubious when I first heard of the proposal!) There's nothing special about the Mespil, but at in or around Euro100 per night, and with some special deals on offer if you book over the Internet, it would be a good, comfortable, 3 star hotel budget hotel for anyone either on a business trip or a short weekend break to Dublin. ...leaving from Los Gigantes. I went on this a few years ago and it was excellent. It costs about 25Euros at present. The prices may change depending on when you go and how you book and are for the cruise only, not any coach transfers. It is well worth the money though. If you're not sure who to go with try standing at the jetty when the cruise comes back and see what people thought. You can book these trips at the tourist offices in the resort, or through your rep. You can also go direct to the office. If you go to Puerto Colon there are a few rows of shops and bars and some of the companies are based there. Most of them run twice a day in summer, around 11.00am and 1.15pm but less frequently in winter. They also do evening cruises returning around midnight. ..., when choosing who to vote for in a general election the economy is a major factor of your vote. So if Brussels are controlling our economy what are you going to base your vote on? Remember, the people controlling our economy would be unelectable so we couldn't boot them out when our country was turned into an economic disaster. You also cannot forget the loss of our sovereignty. It is disgusting that Blair and this rubbish Labour government are trying to bounce us in. The Euro is a useless washed-up economy, so that's something that the Euro has in common with Blair and his useless colleagues in our government. ...they had three staff on the baggage hall side of the office and only one at the single window that looks out over the public arrivals hall side. And having gone through the customs area I couldn't go back to get onto the side with three staff. As it turned out, I didn't have any problems. There was just one other person waiting ahead of me and I was served quite quickly. But I was slightly concerned by a notice saying that at busy times precedence would be given to arriving customers on the baggage hall side of the office. I hoped they weren't suddenly going to move all their staff to the other side to deal with the queue of half a dozen or so people that was building up on the baggage hall side. There was just one minor glitch. I handed over the booking confirmation showing the price of 108 euros. The woman checked the booking on the system... Read review

...spectacular not being ones for lazying on the beach we found plenty to do. The first day we went on a glass bottom boat trip called neptuno-sub. You can book this through you hotel or there are plenty of ticket office along the main street running along the sea front. we got ours at the ticket office near macdonalds. they got 12 euros 65 cents for a boat trip to the islana dragonare. which is along the west coast of the island. The boat picked us up from alittle keyside behind macdonalds. You can purchase drinks soft or alcoholic from onboard. We have some great photos of the secenery. They take you out stop for half hour for a swim in the sea take you further on and feed the fish you can watch this from the underwater glass bottom like a submarine.The staff were friendly and for 5 euros you get a photo of you boarding the boat mounted in a card...
