...If you are thinking of going to Belfast then this is the place to stay. Situated in Belfast city center the Europa is a popular hotel with the tourists. The hotel is crammed with friendly staff who are always there ready to help. The food in the hotel is very nice and they also have a buffet style in the morning but if it is not what you like then you can just stroll around the corner into the center. There you will find lots of bars,nightclubs,restaurants and Irish pubs. The rooms are very modern and up to date and the whole hotel is spotless from top to bottom. If you are going to stay then make sure you bring a big wallet because the hotel can be pricey and you may also want some ear plugs for night time because around the hotel can get pretty noisy epically on weekends. ...Air Europa I have just returned form Alicante on a flight operated by Air Europa. Air Europa are a Spanish Airline that operate from various airports providing direct flights to various airports in Spain. My flight was between Aberdeen and Alicante, and, as I have never flown with them before, here is my review of their service. Check in This is a bit of a grey area for me as I am not sure whether the check in staff at Aberdeen actually worked for Aberdeen Airport or whether they worked for Air Europa and vice versa on the return flight. Check in at Aberdeen was a relatively painless affair with most passengers being processed quickly and efficiently. Alicante was the same, queues were moving quickly and efficiently. ...Season 5 of the award winning series 24, was first aired back in 2006 and was mostly known for its shocking and explosive first episode. When mini trailers of hour 1 went around sky, i tried to switch over every time but to no avail, i caught something and i was hooked in. Normally id prefer to watch the episodes on dvd so i can watch as many as i like but my girlfriend at the time had sky plus so she recorded the whole series. After getting through 9 hours of it we broke up, not anything to do with 24 don' worry, therefore i had seen nearly half of the series and then had to wait for the dvd release to continue watching. Only once have i done this, never again. Wait for the dvd, its worth it. Anyway, this season is one of my favourites as it doesnt hold back on the storylines and shock factor plus provides probably the best ending so...

Picos de Europa - ITS BEAUTIFUL!

...I went up the Picos De Europa Mountain range as part of my Duke of Edinburgh expedition. I have to say, it was possibly the most beautiful mountain range i have ever encountered. I am really into my mountaineering. At the end of september i am walking up the national 3 peaks in 24 hours so if any of you live near ben nevis, scafell or snowdon, come and say hello. The support would be muchly appreciated. Picos de europa however. I found the best time to start walking was around 5/6 am and walk till about 12/1 pm as the heat at points was unbearable. Especially when you are at the top of a cold mountain and cant feel the heat because of the wind. ...Having travelled with Air Europa 3 times I felt that this airline delivers pretty good customer service after my recent flight with an English Airline!!!! There is enough room in the seats - not as crammed as one I could mention! - and the stewardess always look very well groomed and professional. I have had a slight comment on my last opinion of another Airline for saying that the uniforms and the turnout of the stewardess wasn't great - but sorry - I think that these are the people who represent the company who people will remember as the company and who they will base their future flying plans - if they didn;t receive the service they won't fly with them again. With Air Europa I've always found that they wear very smart uniforms and will wear hats and gloves when seeing passengers on and off the plane - not a necessity I know...

...Before I start this review I just need to get one thing off my chest, Jack Bauer is my hero! I've watched every series of 24 so far and have loved each one (some more than others) so when I heard that there was going to be a 'film' I couldn't be more excited. 24 : Redemption is a bridge between the events of series six and series seven. The producers/writers felt that this was necessary to fill the huge gap between series due to the recent writers strike. 24 is normally set out in one hour episodes which are shown in 'real time', that is, one hour long episode represents one hour of the shows storyline.
