NASTY BUSINESS!
Advantages: Compelling reading
Disadvantages: Some similarities to other novels by the author, strong language may offend some.
...Review of The Business, a hardback novel by Martina Cole
The Business is Martina Cole's latest offering in a long line of best selling novels set against a backdrop of London's criminal underworld. For those unfamiliar with Ms Cole's books, she writes of subjects unsavoury, seedy and at times, uncomfortable. Nothing is taboo to Ms Cole and The Business covers violence, murder, prostitution, drug addiction, child abuse and neglect . Her writing style is gritty and she produces novels that are hauntingly readable. Readers are under no illusions about her characters and their lifestyles, a peep into a world very different from most people's reality, Ms Cole's books have the ability to shock, fascinate, touch and repulse me as the story unfolds!

Change of Business?
Advantages: Another Book From Cole
Disadvantages: Not a great page turner
...Martina Cole - The Business?..
**The Book**
Martina Cole's latest novel entitled "The Business" is yet another book filled with the gritty, hard hitting seediness that is the London underworld. We go back in time to the late 70's and meet the Dooley family. Gerald Dooley SNR, head of the house, Mary Dooley the mother of three children, two sons and a daughter, Imelda. Imelda is the main charter throughout the book as we follow her life, which is bad from start to finish.
Imelda is trouble with a capital "T" and this is something that her family are soon to realise. Her sexually loose behaviour soon gets her with "a belly full of arms and legs" as Martina Cole so eloquently puts it, and this causes major friction within the family. Her father, Gerald SNR, cannot believe that his young and angelic daughter is already giving...

The Business
Advantages: Sunny
Disadvantages: Boring
...The Business is set in the 1980s and tells the story of a young man from London who goes to work in Spain. The film is set in the Costa del Sol,
The acting, the storyline and the script in this film is not very good..
I might recommended this film for the soundtrack but not much else because it really isn't that good.
I rented this film without the additional disc of extras so I can't really tell you anything about them. Even so, I wouldn't bother watching it if I were you.
Running Time: 90 mins

Not so much business!
Advantages: good clothes
Disadvantages: dull, doesnt run smoothly
...Ever since I was in Primary school, my friends and I have been quite obsessed with the sims! The craze started out with the Sims one, which I latched onto pretty quickly! Though when Sims 2 was first released, I didn't really bother with it. However last year I decided to buy the game, and many of the expansion packs to go with it. One of these expansion packs is Open For Business.
Open For BUsiness can be easily recognised on the shelves as it has a bright orange cover, with the Sims 2 logo on the front, and OPen For Business written underneath in a handy shop window sign. There are two 'sims' on the front too, working hard at a till and eating a cake. How productive!
When installing the game, you need atleast 512 GB Ram on your harddrive, and you must have the sims 2 disc too. Now befor eyou install this, be warned! If you uninstall...

1st Year
Advantages: Job prospects, year abroad, 2 work placements
Disadvantages: 4 years, some easy/boring modules
...I have just completed my 1st year at Nottingham Trent on the European Business course. The course has a language module incorporated into it, the choice being Spanish, French or German. The modules in the 1st year have given me a solid base for the following 3 years (it is a 4 year course). The unique aspect of this course is the distribution of the ?year? work placement. The work placement is split into 2. 6 months in UK based business and the remaining 6 months in the country of you chosen language. The 3rd year is spent abroad in a Spanish, French or German university where the object is to improve the language skills.
The 1st year modules vary from year to year but are basically the same.

The Business Of Dying
Advantages: Gripping plot, fast paced story, great characters
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!
...I love reading but for some reason I don?t seem to have the time to read as much as I would like to so my recent holiday meant that I got some time to loose myself in a good book ? The Business Of Dying
The Business of Dying is Simon Kernick?s first book.
About The Author
Simon Kernick was born 1966 in the town of Slough. After leaving school in the mid 1980s, he worked in a variety of jobs including bring a labourer on a road-building gang (until an industrial accident cut short a promising career); stockroom assistant for a major IT company and a fruit picker,
He also spent several years living and travelling in Canada and the USA before returning to England via Australia and the Far East to complete his studies.
Simon Kernick currently lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and two young daughters and is just about to start...

The Simpsons: Risky Business review
Advantages: Very funny episodes
Disadvantages: None
...The Simpsons: Risky Business is a compilation of four episodes from america's favourite yellow family, the Simpsons. The episodes included are "Marge Gets a Job", "Deep Space Homer", "Homer the Smithers" and "Realty Bites".
In "Marge Gets a Job", Marge is employed at the nuclear plant after the Simpson's house slides off it's foundations. But she gets some unwelcome attention in the shape of Mr. Burns, who will stop at nothing to woo her. Guest starring Tom Jones, it's another classic episode from the golden age of "The Simpsons".
"Deep Space Homer" is a classic episode and deals with NASA sending Homer up into space to boost their public image. But, like everything in "The Simpsons", nothing goes as planned and soon the crew find themselves in danger, can Homer and an inanimate carbon rod save the day. A fantastic episode filled...

Discover the best of European cinema
Advantages: A fantastic collection of shorts.
Disadvantages: None.
...Cinema16 is a fantastic compilation of European short films, giving you a glimpse at some of the most undervalued cinematographic handiworks, many who were crafted by some of the leading voices of modern cinema, such as Danish director Lars Von Trier, the controversial English comedian Chris Morris, and even the madcap French director, behind the infamous Dobermann (1999-2000), Jan Kounen.
The funny thing about the Cinema16 DVD is that there is no rating to be found on the box; especially funny when you consider the strictness of the BBFC, and also, it's occasionally ridiculous ratings (for example, Rosemary's Baby being rated 18 - pathetic).
Cinema16 could be considered a "certified 15" in my opinion.
Individually, the short lengths vary between 8 and 20 minutes, frequently between 10 and 15 minutes, bringing the whole 16 shorts...

Busy Busy Bumble Bee
Advantages: Great variety of exercise
Disadvantages: Struggle with the arms and core stability
...busy. The pace of DVD was great as it wasn't too fast that I was struggling to keep up and I also wasn't dragging with waiting for the next exercise.
The DVD cost about £12 and was worth every penny. It was one of the best exercise programmes I have completed. I would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a fitness DVD....

Medal of Honor; European Review
Advantages: Great sound, great game in general
Disadvantages: Graohics need tweaking, too short.
...Meadl of Honor; European assault is a great game for a number of reasons. First, all the levels you play through more or less happened in WWII. This enhances the realistic effect, and puts players in the position a soldier might have been in. Second, it's realistic. hugely realistic. Ok, sure, you get the health pickups, instant medikits, a handy adrenalin rush that makes you invincable, but those are what you'd expect from any game, and you can change most of those things in game anyway.
I'll start with the basics. Graphics. The graphics in this game aren't that bad, on the basis that you are too busy blowing Germans' heads off to notice. When you look closer, you see that the guy you're chucking grenades at is slightly "boxey," the ridges on that fuel tank aren't quite rounded enough etc, but, overlooking those small details...
