These have facts and figures of the European Union on display, and include showrooms for information films and introductory talks. You get loaded with freebies, ranging from "I love Europe" stickers (also for British guests), to fancy EU stationary, to tons of information brochures and booklets. Further access and insight into the heart of the EU requires a prior registration. If you have come as a visitor without pre-registration, then that's all there is to see, and you may directly jump to my next subheading, surrounding sights. Advantages: It's brave and a good introduction to Erasure
Disadvantages: It's pointless if you already know the band

...The new album by Erasure 'Union Street'(their 14th!) is a bit of an enigma, which makes me wonder if the duo have finally run out of ideas, or didn't want to waste them on us. However for the uninitiated this acoustic (yes pop-pickers you heard me correctly 'ACOUSTIC') album strips down the songs to their bare bones and lets out some of the soul as a sample of what they are capable of. Just as the band had recaptured some of the form of its 90s heyday with Erasure's return to electro pop heaven, ('Nightbird') Vince Clark and Andy Bell have gone all acoustic on us, just as the Pet Shop Boys recently did, before going back to their synths. ...Cinema16 is a fantastic compilation of European short films, giving you a glimpse at some of the most undervalued cinematographic handiworks, many who were crafted by some of the leading voices of modern cinema, such as Danish director Lars Von Trier, the controversial English comedian Chris Morris, and even the madcap French director, behind the infamous Dobermann (1999-2000), Jan Kounen. The funny thing about the Cinema16 DVD is that there is no rating to be found on the box; especially funny when you consider the strictness of the BBFC, and also, it's occasionally ridiculous ratings (for example, Rosemary's Baby being rated 18 - pathetic). Cinema16 could be considered a "certified 15" in my opinion. Individually, the short lengths vary between 8 and 20 minutes, frequently between 10 and 15 minutes, bringing the whole 16 shorts...

...Like the previous reviewer I am forced to use Coffee Union at Princes Parade. I guess that the previous writer was one of the lucky ones. Being a creature of habit I tend to opt for the jacket potato and a latte frappe but this is because the choice of sandwiches is dismal and certainly unappetising. Breaking the experience into 3 categories, lets start with staff. The current 'acting' manager is certainly living up to her title - ACTING - because she certainly cannot organise or manage what goes on around her (but she is pleasant which is a plus). First thing in the morning, if you fancy a piece of toast, you can wait anything upto 15 minutes and that is with only 2 or 3 other customers in the shop. Erasmus - A good year abroad move

Advantages: All organised for you, so not much work to do
Disadvantages: It is studying as opposed to an assistantship, so there is a certain amount of work involved.

...This is based on the way in which my University (Bath) organises the Erasmus scheme, so it may differ from uni to uni. The Erasmus Scheme run by the European Union benefits students at Unis accross Europe who are required to take a year abroad as part of their studies. Each language department at Universites in Britain will have links with other unis and much like an exchange scheme, students from each uni will go to the other to study. The number of links will depend on the languages tought at the University. But there are normally at least 5-6 in each country. At your University there will be an Erasmus officer, who will be in contact with other officers from the other unis. How long to go for? It is up to you to choose which University you wish to study at and which country. You can either spend a whole academic year at 1...

This enhances the realistic effect, and puts players in the position a soldier might have been in. Second, it's realistic. hugely realistic. Ok, sure, you get the health pickups, instant medikits, a handy adrenalin rush that makes you invincable, but those are what you'd expect from any game, and you can change most of those things in game anyway. ...Whilst on a short break in London last week my family and I were looking for somewhere to eat in the West end and came across HAMBURGER UNION in Garrick Street, Covent Garden. None of us are great fans of burger "joints" but decided that we would give it a try, as from the outside it looked modern and clean and although busy not bursting at the seams as some place are up there. Also it was great to go somewhere "non smoking". On entering it reminded us of restaurants in America, as ,you order everything (food and drinks) at the counter, pay and then proceed into the main eating area and place your order number on the table for the server to see. Advantages: smells amazing, lasts well, creates a story for itself

...of Body Milk which is said to help prolong the fragrance and apparently its formula contains a combination of delicate powders that should leave the skin feeling soft and satiny. 200ml is £32.50. (Far too expensive if you ask me). The bottle is the same style of design but taller – see the picture at the end of this op. I believe that there is also a shower gel and a body cream but haven’t come across these personally. This product is made in France and distributed widely.
