...Not Just a Witch is a fantastic fantasy style magical novel for children aged between 7 and 14. The book was first published in 1989 and is written Eva Ibbotson. The story itself is 151 pages in length but is split into manageable chapters, which make it easy to digest. Despite being written for children the book has a real flare and style that seems to intrigue everyone that picks it up and the magical and mystical content of the book mean that it is difficult for anyone to pull themselves away from it. Magnificient Monster Mission

Advantages: Super stroyline
Disadvantages: Maybe a little scary for some children

...Monster Mission is a fantastic book for children and even young adults. It is a fantasy style story written by Eva Ibbotson and was first published in 1999. The story is 230 pages in length but is split into manageable chapters making it easy to digest and read in small chunks. I think however that most people will find like I did that the book is quite intriguing once you begin and that it is difficult to pull yourself away from it. Monster Mission tells the story of on Secret Island upon which three aunts are plotting to kidnap three children. The Aunts however are not kidnapping the children for any evil purpose, oh no the Aunts are kidnapping the children simply because the island needs them. A Journey to the River Sea well worth taking

Advantages: Magical, exotic, thrilling storytelling
Disadvantages: None for me!

A magnificent read for Children

Advantages: very funny, timeless classic

...The Great Ghost Rescue by Eva Ibbotson was one of my favourite books as a child and I have just been reminded of it by someone in my life and I thought I would just have write a review. The Great Ghost Rescue centres around the main character of Humphrey the Horrible (who is a ghost) and his family. They are all ghosts of one description or another. His mother is a ghost hag, his father is a scottishman with a sword sticking out of his chest, his brother is a screaming skull and his sister is a girl who is constantly chasing a bowl that she can never catch to wash the bloodstains out of her clothes. ...A Countess Below Stairs is one of the best books I have read lately, I was surfing the book department on Amazon, and i happened upon the author; Eva Ibbotson. I was reading the reviews and what it was about to get an idea, of whether it was worth me reading. The story immediately grasped me, along with a few of her other books. The reason for this is because the story is about a daughter of a Russian Count and Countess named Anna Grazinsky. The story is set around late victorian pre-1920s. Anna has left russia with her mother, her brother and her governess, to go to England. They stay in her governess's house, as they have lost their money. EVA CASSIDY - a tribute to her life.

...This is the month when we have been asked to write musical reviews. I wrote a review on Songbird, a record by Eva Cassidy, though feel it is not enough to write about her record. Her life mattered to a lot of us, and without her songs, my life would not be as it is today. This is my tribute to a short life that left its mark on me. Disadvantages: Seat a little uncomfortable for longhaul

...I was more than a little sceptical when my travel agent of choice, Trailfinders, found me seats on Eva Air, for my recent trip to Thailand. I did a little research, and in general, I couldn?t find any bad word against the airline. Even consumer reviews, limited as they were, all rated the airline as four stars out of five.
