...Evolution - a theory and now a film! It's directed by Ivan Reitman, who gave us the classic "Ghostbusters" and not so classic but still very good "Ghostbusters 2". Here, he helms another supernatural comedy, and even manages to bring aboard Dan Aykroyd in a small cameo role. When a meteorite falls to earth near the small town of Glen Canyon, two college professors, Dr. Ira Kane (David Duchovny) and Prof. Harry Phineas Block (Orlando Jones), are given the job of examining it. While they are doing just that, they find organisms of an extraterrestrial origin. And not just that, they are evolving at a incredible rate, even while Ira is watching. Do The Evolution

Advantages: Funny, good effects, tongue-in-cheek
Disadvantages: Some cheesey moments, bit weak in places

...So, I hear that Ghostbusters 3 has been in development hell for quite a while, and there is something holding it back. Ivan Reitman is obviously fed up with waiting for it to happen, so here is Evolution. Ghostbusters 3 in all but name and with no "DON'T CROSS THE BEAMS!". I understand the movie was originally going to be a horror, this is very telling as wen you watch the film, you may jump once or twice (me and my girlfriend did), and can see where comedy has replaced "Oh my God it's eating hiom alive" moments. The Ghostbusters theme comes from three ordinary joes (David Duchovny, Orlando Jones and Seam Wiliam Scott (I think I've gotten his name wrong) stare at a meteroite for a while (strangely, the meteor lands without mashing up the nearby town a la Armageddon) and scrape some ooze off it. ..."Stars" by Simply Red is quite simply one of the best albums in UK history. When "Something Got Me Started" was released in 1991, nobody could have guessed that the forthcoming album "Stars" was going to be so huge. It almost feels like a greatest hits collection in itself - even the album tracks seem to be played endlessly in shops - and it's hard to remember a time before it was released in some ways. Mick Hucknall went for an image change - check out the long hair on the front cover - and the album had a very poppy feel that grabbed the attention of non-fans and reaffirmed the devotion of Simply Red's more zealous followers. It's probably the last time Mick's work had a "band" feel to it and it's all the better for it. It was the biggest album between 1992 and 1993 and deservedly so. ...seemed very surprised and gave me a funny look when I told her it was for me that worried me for a start. The story was interesting because firstly it centred on the lives of three very different contrasting characters that, only shared a wonderful talent. It was fascinating to see what happened to them as the novel went chronologically through all the highs and lows of their lives, all the main developments that went to make them all Rock Stars. Yes in some ways it was shallow, the way these fortunate people enjoyed such a lavish lifestyle. Full of beautiful young men and women who?s only leisure time pursuit seemed to be having sex. Luckily these scenes were not too graphic in the author?s descriptions of them; instead she left quite a bit of it to your own imagination which was fine by me. Dragonball Evolution, The film that fan-boys love to hate!

PRO EVOLUTION ON 360.

Advantages: GOOD GRAPHICS AS USUAL.
Disadvantages: SLUGISH GAME PLAY AS USUAL.

...pro evolution releases is that there must be pronounced or rather prominent flaws. The game has very poor ball tussle with sluggish animations, which at the end tends to rip off the player with the least body balance. The aspect where I will give the game 5 out of 5 stars is the sound effects category. When the ball is being kicked, the sound effects give good representations as well as the ball bounces. Another aspect is the individual ball control, which is marvelous with good and realistic graphical representation and that is it. I have to put it this way that FIFA is now competing strongly with Konmai in every thing, both in game play, game graphics and commentary. Disadvantages: Julianne Moore - why was she there? Poor script, few laughs

...Evolution. A film recommended to me by both my friends AND my family. Would I do the same thing to them? I couldn't honestly say whether I would. X-files star David Duchovney appears as Ira Kane, Orlando Jones as Harry Block, and Julianne Moore as Dr. Allison...erm...someone. Anyhow, the first two are college professors, Ms. Moore a rather clumsy government science type in 'need of a good humping' according to Dr. Block(Jones). And that very line should really give you a fair picture of what this picture promises. Brilliant special effects backed up by a good idea with a rather tawdry script. That's what I'd describe this film as. I enjoyed it yes, but I couldn't help thinking it could have been a whole lot better, although I'm not sure how. This album is their third album and was released in 1997 and is their last album recorded on the Motown label. Regular collaborators like Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and Babyface contributed to the album aswell as Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy or P Diddy as he is known nowadays. The lead single from this album was the ballad Four seasons of loneliness which is regarded by fans as one of their best tracls.
