.... I remember as a child many years ago my dad used to use evo-stik. I do sometimes use it in my own home now. Evo- stik label is on several different types of adhesive wood glue and a contact adhesive called impact. I am describing evo-stic impact as I am most familiar with it. This glue comes in a small tube a large tube and tubs containing 250 ml and 500-ml. Prices are £1.90, £3.62 £4.68 and £8 .10 respectively. I seem to think evo-stik is made by bostick-findley Evo-stik has a distinctive smell needs to be used in a well-ventilated space. Evo-stik is clear glue that sets clear. Makes a very strong bond when applied to both surfaces to be fixed and pressed together.It sets very quickly Evo-stik impact glue is multi purpose adhesive. Sticking many different kinds of fabrics. MAKING AN IMPACT

Advantages: EXCELLENT ADHESIVE
Disadvantages: NONE

...EVO-STIK contact adhesive does exactly what it says on the tin. For a quick drying, fume free solution to most DIY and household repairs try out evo-stik solvent free foam impact adhesive. It comes in a handy aerosol; it also comes with a free applicator. The adhesive cures in about thirty minutes. It?s solvent free, non-flammable formula means it?s safer to use than conventional adhesives, because it doesn?t emit toxic fumes during application. It is claimed to bond up to 3.5 times the area of conventional contact adhesives. The evo-stik solvent free impact adhesive comes in 125ml aerosols and can be bought from any leading hardware and DIY superstores, and is reasonably priced at just under £5. As before it does what it says on the tin....
