Failed to Excel for Me

Advantages: Can be used at very low temperatures
Disadvantages: Not suitable for hand washing, overpowering scent on Febreze version, made stains worse

Excellence.

Advantages: Good shade selection, good consistency, easy to apply, good end result.
Disadvantages: Smell could be a little better, 'bare' shades (5, 6, 7 etc) can make your hair look dull and dirty

Would I fly excel again? (UPDATED 03.11.05)

Advantages: Friendly staff, nice flight
Disadvantages: loosing my bagge, slow response from airline

...Well as I'm sure many of you know (and are probably fed up of hearing about now), we went on holiday in September to Tenerife. We were flying EXCEL airways. We have never flown with these before but my mum had on a couple of occasions and couldn't fault them. On arrival at Gatwick with tons of time to spare we thought we'd go and see where to book in thinking it was early and we'd be at the front of the que of people...how wrong! Excel had about four flights checking in on as many desks so the que was pretty massive. It moved steadily and soon we were at the front. We were asked all of the usual about packing our own bags etc. The check in staff were okay but not overly friendly. Oh well they couldn't dampen my spirits we were going on holiday! Advantages: Bill and Ted, an excellent adventure, historical kidnapping, Rufus, what more do you want?

Not really Excellent, just Average

We paid a deposit of £120 (£40 per person) and the balance was automatically debited from my credit card in June, exactly on the day they specified, eight weeks before we left. There is an optional charge of £12 per person to reserve your seats, but we didn't take them up on this. Our tickets arrived in the post, about a week before we were due to leave. ...I know it's a bit of a crappy title but I couldn't think of anything. I have flew with excel airways only once and I think they deliver an excellent service. Excel airways have only been in existence for three month's since there first flight from Gatwick airport which was described as the most glamorous take-off ever seen. Inside the plane is very spacious, the legroom you get is much better than any plane I have travelled with before and they have a selection of magazines available under the seats ready for you to read. The staffs run you through every safety regulation before take-off and also give you complimentary sweets. I was flying to lefkas in Greece, which took around three hours to get there, and the flight was very pleasant.
