Small airport, small queues

Disadvantages: Expensive restaurants

...Exeter International Airport is my preferable airport to fly from, but that is solely to do with the fact that it's a 10 - 15 minute drive from my house. Recently revamped, Exeter airport is quite a relatively small airport situated around 5 miles outside of Exeter towards Clyst Honiton. Car Parking The airport has long stay and short stay parking with 4 car parks on site, the short stay car park car park 1, is a very short walk (50 yards) from the departure entrance and you can park there for free for 15 minutes, you do need to use this car park even for dropping off or collecting people as there are no waiting bays. To use this car park you obtain a ticket on entering the barrier at the car park and use it on departure. Belfast International Airport

Advantages: Internet, Cheap car parking
Disadvantages: Can get boring after 18 hours

...Belfast International Airport (Belfast Aiport) I flew out of belfast airport around four years ago, when I did fly out of the airport it was a bad time to fly out. The day before we where to depart to orlando the shoe bomber came on the scene! So the airport secuirty was put up. But the airline I was travelling with most of their planes had Technical difficuilties. So I was delayed for 30 hours and had to stay in the Hilton over night. So I should be able to tell you enough about it as I was in it for 24 hours. Area... The Belfast airport isn't in belfast, it is closer to Antrim a city near belfast. The airport is around 12 or 13 miles away from Belfast. So I don't know why they called it Belfast International Airport. But there is a hotel beside the airport. So if you have a early flight and you coudn't be bothered to get up...

Doha International Airport

Advantages: Clean, loads of seating areas, all flights were on time
Disadvantages: Could maybe have some more food lounges

...Arriving At Doha Airport When we arrived at Doha airport, we were taken by a shuttle bus to the main airport building. As you enter the airport, you will notice that there are two directions you can take which are well signposted. One path takes you to the main part of Doha airport and the second route takes you to any other connecting fights. Facilities There is a small food court in the departure lounge at Doha airport. Here you can choose from roll, sandwiches etc to the normal fast food such as burgers and chips. There is also a little shop which sells ice cream and drinks. The prices were very reasonable and no where near as expensive as we expected it to be. There was also a coffee shop. Review of Doha International Airport

Definitely an International Airport .

Advantages: Clean ,modern,good facilities,plenty of luggage trolleys,some great views on arriving
Disadvantages: Too busy and brusque at times .

Faro is situated centrally along on the Algarve coast of Portugal and so gives easy access to most of the coastal resorts . The airport is quite large and a very busy destination . As we were disembarking and being herded onto a bus to take us to the arrivals, more planes were departing and landing . There are nice gardens surrounding the airport . The views as you fly in low over the sea are quite spectacular at times and disappointing at others .The 'mud flats' look very unappealing . Unlike England smoking restrictions are only the same as they ever were . This means that as soon as you are through arrivals you are able to smoke in the airport . Pop a Cork! - Cork International Airport Hotel

Advantages: Unique, Extremely Comfortable, Location, New build, Service
Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey

...OVERVIEW If you are considering a trip to Ireland, one of the most popular areas to visit is around Cork. Although I've been to Ireland almost annually since a child, I'd never visited Cork until this year. The area differs enormously from the West Coast, in that there are more rolling hills, arable farming and very reminiscent of Cornwall or Devon. On my travels I always like to stay in nice hotels, well at least the best that I can afford, and that usually entails trawling through the various travel booking engines to see which is offering the best deal. I tend to find that the airport hotels are usually slightly cheaper than those in the centre of town, and for me there is the added bonus that I can do a bit of plane spotting and photography as well!! Reykjavik International Airport

Advantages: small therefore quick check in
Disadvantages: location of where the fly bus departs

...I am currently working in Iceland at the moment and have had the opportunity of using Keflavik Airport three times. The airport is clean and allows quick check in. As Iceland is outside the EU it has an inbound duty free shop aswell as an outbound one. However on my last flight this was a disadvantage as the baggage was placed right next to the duty free shop in a desperate bid to get people on my flight to purchase duty free products. This meant many people where standing in the baggage hall wondering why there baggage was not placed on the converer belt. The airport is small which is mainly due to the size of the country and therefore does not have the wide range of duty free shops that is expected at the larger UK airports. This is not a major disadvantage as if you take the fly bus you arrive in just enough time to check in...

CORFU AIRPORT NOT AS BAD AS WAS TOLD

Advantages: Close to most resorts as small island.
Disadvantages: Told very busy in season

...We arrived at Corfu Airport on Monday 12th May at approx 15:45 local time. As usual some passengers ignored the instruction to stay in your seats with seat belt fastned until the plane has come to a stand and the engines have been switched off. Why these people think it will make their bags appear on the carousel any quicker is beyound me. On leaving the plane you are taken by bus to the arrivals door, quick and effeicent. Passport control was a mere wave thru job so no delays there. Baggage reclaim was quick, the cases started just after our arrival in the belt area. Thru to arrivals hall where all the Reps are waiting for the package holiday people, us included travelling with MANOS now part of the Thomas Cook group. Most were directed to the waiting buses for transport to their resorts. As there were only 4 of us...

A Great Little Airport

Advantages: Clear signs, difficult to get lost
Disadvantages: Transport to and from the airport is not great

...Flying down to Phukets? International airport ( Code HKT ) you get quite a strange site ( assuming you are a t the right window ). You see an island below you with quite a narrow peninsula, full of trees and a clearing running across from one side to the other that has something on it. Surely not the airport and runway you think. A quick bank of the aircraft to one side and oops, that is the airport! If you are nervous flyer, it probably best not to look when you land as although the airport can land fully laden Boeing 747s, it does give the impression that should the airplane land 20 yards too long you will end up in the sea. In fact when you are taxing to the building you can actually see the sea just a hundred yards or so beyond the end of the runway! A great airport hotel

Advantages: Cheap as chips, great quality
Disadvantages: Funky bathroom smell

...during the morning and evening it's quite regular (4 times an hour), I arrived at Narita at around 3pm, and had a wait of 50 minutes for the bus. Once an hour isn't great for an International airport, so marks lost there. However, all was not lost. Stood there looking miserable, an airport employee came over and asked where I was off to. When I answered, he suggested I take a taxi as it wasn't far. he was right.... It cost £6! The Lobby... ----------------- Well, the first thing you notice from the road is that the hotel appears circular. It's not, it's more crescent shaped. The staff were very courteous, and offered to carry my bags for me. I was given a receipt for my bag...
