Gentle, soothing exfoliator

Advantages: Really gentle, leaves skin soft & moisturised
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...As with nearly ever other No 7 product I own I got this because I got a £5 No 7 voucher. I hadn't seen a lot I wanted but wanted to use the voucher so I just went for on of the cheapest things in the skincare range which was this exfoliator. At full price it isn't exactly cheap though, it was £7.50, but that meant I only paid £2.50 for it which was a good bargain! It is a 75ml bottle which is average size for a face scrub. Packaging? It is in a squeezy bottle which sits upside down with the bit where the scrub comes out at the bottom, so it is always easy to get it out of the bottle. The bottle is kind of clear so you can see what is inside a bit, but it is a bit frosted which actually makes it look nice and better quality than if it were a clear bottle. It has a gold 'No7 at the top and 'Radiance Revealed' written in bold...

Simple revitalising and exfoliating wipes - so SIMPLE!

Advantages: Skin feels refreshed, clean and soft after use.
Disadvantages: Can be expensive.

...Simple is renowned for its skincare products so when I saw Simple revitalising exfoliating wipes on offer at Tesco?s for 2 for £4.00 I thought I would give them a try. The normal price is £2.92 for 25 wipes which works out at 11.7p per wipe which is a little expensive. So 50 for £4.00 seemed like a good bargain! It?s a well known fact that Simple products have no added ingredients but just in case anyone didn?t know the wipes are in a green plastic packet with the words ?no colour no perfume? written all over it. And a white resealable sticker( Simple have used three vitamins in this product )Vitamin A, Pro-vitamin B5 and Vitamin E. Yves Saint Laurent Exfoliator

Advantages: I like the look of the tube

...I bought some Yves Saint Laurent products a while ago and I got this 'YSL Instant Pure Natural Action Exfoliator' for free. The tube I got was a 15ml sample size. It looks exactly like the larger tube, just in a smaller size. The tube is a really simple design. It is made from quite rubbery, see through white plastic which is really easy to squeeze and makes it easy to get the liquid out. At the top of the tube it has 'INSTANT PUR' in black letters and then it has the name of the exfoliator in French, and then in English 'Natural Action Exfoliator Granule Free' and then at the bottom of the tube 'Yves Saint Laurent' The tube has a white plastic screw top, which means that you get it all sticky when you try to close it after you have applied the exfoliator! ...This product comes in a blue tube with a white screw on cap. It is an exfoliating wash and I use it every day. The packaging is modern looking, with silver writing and a green leaf to symbolise that it is part of the "skin naturals range." I bought mine from Boots and it was reduced to £2.99 - I can't honestly remember the full price of it. But I assume that Tesco or Superdrug will probably be cheaper than Boots. The exfoliating wash consists of a clear liquid with lots of tiny blue exfoliating beads in it. You only need a couple of pea sized blobs to exfoliate your full face. Sparkle Skin ~ The star amongst exfoliators!

Advantages: Effective, won't irritate skin, value for money, lasts for ages, great for fake tans

...I was advised to try this exfoliator by a customer when I used to work in a department store and I have to say I have not used any other exfoliator since! Sparkle skin by Clinique is available to buy in either a squeezy tube or a tub, although having tried both I would say that the tub lasts significantly longer than the tube. Having been converted to using fake tan after a bad experience in both the sun and on a sun-bed that was too hot, I decided the way forward was to fake it and from this I would also need a good exfoliator that would go the distance ~ Sparkle skin certainly does that. Unlike some exfoliators that can scratch your skin off and leave it red, raw and sore, 'Sparkle Skin' effectively removes dead skin cells whilst keeping the state of your skin in tact.
