Advantages: too many to list Disadvantages: short battery life
...The Philips EXP431 Portable MP3 CD player lets you play self-recorded CDs with stacks of your MP3 tracks. A standard CD-R is capable of storing over three hours worth of MP3 files. There?s Digital Dynamic Bass Boost and Advanced Electronic Skip Protection to stop the cd skipping, even when jogging. One set of batteries gives you eight hours of mobile sound and best of all they're rechargeable so you don't have to buy new ones. And for those wanting to listen at home, a mains adapter is included in the box.
i am truly amazed by this product! its just so small! u really don?t expect it to be quite as small as it is. The esp is amazing but u don?t even need it! Because of the size of the cds they are held so securely that it never ever skips even without the esp on when u shake it about loads! You can fit 50 tracks on one little cd which...

Review of Philips EXP431
Advantages: Protects your paintwork and gives added shine Disadvantages: I haven't seen it in the shops, only available on line
...Until a few months ago I had never heard of Poorboys products, let alone their EX-P Sealant but I was shopping for some polish and this was recommended to be used with the polish I had chosen.
I did a little bit of research and found out that a sealant is a synthetic product which is designed for long term paint protection and also easy application.
This particular sealant made by Poorboys is a ?pure? sealant and an 'Amino Functional Resin'. It can be applied in the sun or shade like other products by this brand and it claims to be applied and buffed off with ease.
One thing I have noticed about the Poorboys products is that they all have a nice smell to them, this particular one smells of coconut which is a huge hit with me, though of course others might not think so.
As I had never used a sealant before, I read the instructions...
Advantages: a possibiity to earn Disadvantages: site can be slow, low rate of bid acceptance
...Note added 16.03.01: The number of questions on this site has dropped dramatically since I last looked. Someone told me that they are no longer advertising it. At the moment, there is a question mark over Exp's future. I will add further info as and when I get it.
Exp.com (http://www.exp.com) is an expert site where people post questions, and other people answer them either for free or for a fee. In order to become an expert on Exp and have the right to answer questions, it is necessary to register and submit a profile for each subject category for which you are applying. You may not begin answering questions until the profile has been approved by Exp, and you may only bid for questions within your profiles. There is...

Review of exp.com
Advantages: Great value for money and is able to play MP3 CD's. Great battery life. Disadvantages: Tricky to create MP3 CD's showing track names on CD player's display.
...I purchased this CD player just over a year ago and it is still working perfectly with no problems.
This MP3 CD player is one of the best I have ever seen. It is very easy to use and runs for ages on the same batteries!
I personally have several reasons for buying this great CD player:
1) Incredibly good value for money
2) Easy to use
3) Is able to play MP3 and WMA CD's (MP3 and WMA CD's can be created on your computer. They are able to hold almost four normal CD's worth of music on just one).
The Philips EXP 3360 can run on either AA or AAA batteries. However, I would strongly advise you to just use AA batteries as by using these, the battery life is significally improved.
This CD player is not exactly jam packed with features since it does not have a built in radio. This however does not let it down in...

Review of Philips EXP 3360
Advantages: Its loads cheeper than the top ranging guitars but does'nt feel like it Disadvantages: Its and odd shape
...I bought this guitar a few months ago after hearing that Gibson had pulled the plug on the copy write for the original Explorer guitar shape. In responce ESP have modified the EXP-200 to produce the EX-250 which is similar but just not the same. After a frantic search I found what was probably the only one left in a shop in the country. The wait was worth it. The guitar is light (considering its size) and the extra weight at the back leaves it perfectly ballanced so it just sits where you want it. It is a bit diffuicult to play siting down as the rear gets in the way of your elbow but this guitar is meant to be played standing up with a long strap. The action is nice and low so your fingers have little work to do and the tune-o-matic bridge is really stable, unlike tremelos you can abuse this with no worry of the strings going out...
Advantages: Pretty much everything EXCEPT: Disadvantages: Very poor battery life, and a couple of minor design flaws.
...Here we have a CD player with so much going for it that I'm sure it will sell very well. I picked one up after playing with one a friend had got from ebay, and being extremely impressed, but sadly after a few days use the flaws started to make themselves apparent.
The unit is a portable CD player that is able to read CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs, and can play MP3s burnt onto any of the above formats. It features Philips 'ESP' skip protection, and comes bundled with a car kit (cigarette lighter charger and tape adaptor), a set of earphones and an AC adaptor.
All this makes the EXP303 one of the most fully featured players available in its price range.
The case is solidly built, with large buttons on the front controlling track skip, album skip (for MP3s), play, stop, and the various modes. There is control over the DBB system, which...

Review of Philips EXP303
Advantages: About as cheap as any MP3 CD Player, very tough and good sound Disadvantages: Takes a while to read some MP3 discs, Shuffle mode not quite random
...I got the EXP3360 about a year ago and it still works perfectly. As clumsy as I am, that means it's one very tough piece of kit. The earphones that came with it didn't quite last so long, and the sound was a bit weak anyway so I would suggest getting another pair. But the unit itself gives out great sound, very loud (very nice DBB) and even rechargeable AA batteries tend to last three or four albums on full volume. It also takes AAA. The 200 second anti-skip is great, and it's never given problems, although I've never gone running with it. It does have trouble sometimes reading scratched CDs but no more so than any other portable CD player. It usually takes around a minute for it to read an MP3 disc, (7 or 8 albums, depending on sound quality). The controls are fairly intuitive, but the Shuffle can be a bit annoying. It's not random but...

Review of Philips EXP 3360
Advantages: Small, portable, good sound quality, cheap. Disadvantages: Can eat batteries, some playback problems with MP3.
...The Philips eXpanium EXP 401 is a bit of an enigma. A piece of new technology that is cheap, portable and actually offers something different and useful. It's also something that no one else seems to have, so it'll always have that "ooh, what's that?" affect on people when you show them what your headphones are connected to.
As my Aiwa Mini Disc player/recorder had given up the ghost, and was stoutly refusing to play anything I threw at it, I was looking for something cheap in the January sales to replace it (as Aiwa don't make it anymore, and getting it serviced/repaired seemed to be a bit of a problem). As usual these days, my first port of call was the internet.
I'd considered a budget MP3 player, but felt that it was slightly limiting, in that the build quality of such products tends to lean towards the "suspect" side...
