It is next to the Buchanan Galleries shopping centre and virtually next door to the huge 7 floor UGC cinema. (This gets very busy in the evenings, so I would advise placing a booking earlier in the day.) The Burrell Collection is within walking distance. ...My stay at the Express by Holiday Inn was absolutly great, I was welcomed by all members off staff as I arrived and they were all very friendly and very helpful. I was asked if there was anything I needed and if I would like a coffee and i was checking in. Even from the reception the hotl looked Lovely, it had a huge Lounge area where people were sitting down waitng for either their room's or a cab. The bar area is only small but when you want a qiuet drink its ideal, serving Alcoholic drinks, Soft drinks, Tea, Coffe and many more.From here I was standing at the reception desk I could also see a dining area where a few guest's were being served their breakfast. From the way things were looking I was really going to enjoy my stay here, even if it was only for one night. The Hotel itself has got 126 rooms on 4 levels...Ground, Level 1... Read review

We were meeting two of our Ciao friends and wanted somewhere near central Aberdeen. Location: Chapel Street, off Union Street; the main thoroughfare of Aberdeen, with The Bon Accord Shopping Centre and various pubs, eateries and lots of little side streets with exclusive shops. Cost: Four person bedroom: double bed and sofa bed: £55.00 per room, per night. The main Entrance has a Small reception area with a few comfortable sofas and a bar area to the left with further comfortable seating, coffee tables and two large screen televisions. ...I was in Nashville for a classical music conference attended by more than 1000 delegates, so I was surprised that this Holiday Inn - one of the overflow hotels was listed as being only 2 star. I needn't have worried. It proved to be a more than adequate base for my stay and had some great plus points which to me puts it more in the 3 star level as far as we Brits grade hotels. I paid about £70 a night booked direct. The room was typical Holiday Inn Express, no frills, clean, basic furnishings, but with huge US tv and very comfy king size bed (better than in British Holiday Inns in my experience) usual things like hairdryer, ironing board, coffee/tea + kettle, free newspaper all OK. Why ------- We had tickets to Wicked and wanted a hotel close to the Apollo Victoria theatre (it was only a couple of tube stops). ...I made a visit to Holiday Inn in Earls Court during the middle of July and found this a nice place to stay. The hotel had a small sign displayed at the front of the hotel window advertising rooms from £99 per room per night. Regarding the hotels location the nearest tube station is West Brompton station which takes around 10 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel, or Fulham Broadway is around 15 minutes away. The hotels immediate location is also close to South Kensington. Therefore hotel visitors are treated to a great array of shopping malls in Fulham and high streets that surround the area. Directly opposite the Express by Holiday Inn (Earls Court) is a Thai Bangkok restaurant and a Beds ltd furniture store. ...I stayed at the Express by Holiday Inn, Peterborough when my work Christmas Party was held at the East Of England Showground. I booked the hotel room about a month before via ichotels.com, who i have a priority club through. The first thing I noticed was that the hotel have a very limited amount of car parking spaces, not generally a problem but our group of four all had cars, we managed to find spaces (some on the hotel site and some on the street), got our bags and walked into reception. The reception was very light , quiet and nicely decorated. Reception staff were quick to locate our reservation and check us all in, we were all advised about the breakfast buffet which was included in the price of the room (nice surprise - none of us knew this). ...Holiday Inn Express at Glasgow Airport. Me and my girlfriend booked this hotel 3 weeks before hand and got a great rate of £55 for one night including full breakfast.We got the free airport bus from buchan bus station which takes to outside the main terminal at the airport .When we arrived we were amazed at how close it was actually to the main terminal of Glasgow Airport less than 2 minutes which was very handy for our morning departure.We checked in around 1630 and were told in detail the facility's , restaurant opening times , breakfast times and all check out details by two friendly staff receptionists one lady also helped us with the masses of luggage we had to the room. ...We stayed at for a week in December 2005, for a Christmas shopping break. We stayed in a double room, Bed and Breakfast. The hotel is in a central location a 5min walk to the nearest S-Bahn station which is Anhalter Bahnof Its walking distance to Potsdamer Platz where in the winter is a Christmas market with mulled wine, hot dogs, lots of craft stalls, shopping centre, the Sony centre and a snow slide (where you slide down a slope in an inflatable ring) We booked the hotel direct on the Holiday Inn website a week or so before hand - the member of staff I spoke to was very helpful. The hotel was clean and modern - it must has only been built in the last few years. reception staff were friendly and everyone spoke good English.
